Parker, Bogart and Royce founded their International Guy company right after college. It's a company to help women reach their full potential. Like for example the current huge client in the first story: Paris. Sophie is the heiress of a french perfume company. She inherited her dad's company, billions of Euro and lots of problems. But she only wants to create perfumes. She doesn't care about the business side of things, or how she dresses. That's where our three guys come in. They'll help her look sexy and confident in front of her board members. And they help her with so much more.
Parker is especially intrigued by the pretty girl.
But he's also kind of in love with supermodel and A-list actress Skyler. From afar. Like in posters and movies.
Parker is a bit of a man whore. And why not? He has this amazing job traveling the world, meeting amazing women. Why not have fun with each and every one of them?
But will he and the other three guys find their Happily Ever Afters in one of those 12 cities??
READ THE BOOKs TO FIND OUT! ☺

Well, that was interesting.
I loved Audrey's Calendar Girl series, and I thought this would be kind of the same. BUT with the Calendar Girl - we kinda immediately knew who her forever ever after guy would be. This is not really the case here. Well, it kind of is .... I hope Parker's happy end will be with Skyler, but we don't yet know in the first of the three stories.☺
The fact that Parker starts off as a bit of a manwhore was not really my thing. I want a romance novel to have a heroine and a hero. And here we have those three guys and endless women in 12 cities.
BUT, don't worry, it's not going to be like that in every story/city!
I really enjoyed reading all three city-stories. It was just the first one that made me think I might hate this series - even though the story was adorable too. But I just didn't want Parker to be this manwhore-sleeping-with-every-client person. Which he is not!
It was interesting to get to know the three guys a bit in those three stories. I like them. They're funny and sexy and sweet and they're still acting a bit like frat boys. I love how they meet at Parker's dad's pub all the time.
I could really imagine this to be a netflix show. Lots of eye candy and beautiful cities around the world! GIMMEE!!!!!
I will definitely be reading the rest of the books - I need to know how everything will end for those three guys! And I really hope that once Parker is in a halfway serious relationship after book #2, that he won't man-whore his way across the globe anymore. But we won't know until we get to read the next 9 stories! ☺ But I really think he found his person in the 2nd story! ☺
I also like how Audrey tells us a bit about every city we're in.
I'm excited to see what will await us in the next stories!
INTERNATINAL GUY, VOL I was a really sexy, funny and interesting start into this new series. I'm excited to see where Audrey will take us with those guys in the next 9 stories - and not just geographically!☺ Run to your nearest amazon asap for your own Parker, Bogart & Royce - they will be sold out in no time!!!

International Guy #1 = Paris - This book was interesting to say the least. I picked it up because I LOVE Audrey’s books. This one is catching me enough that i want to read the next one and see how they all end. Im thinking im not as into it because it is only written as the lead mans point of view. However i did enjoy the story Audrey told. And the next books caught my interest with the epilogue so well see how i that one.
International Guy #2 = New York - I love this book! This one captured me like no tomorrow. I love Skyler too, I hope they end up together. I cant wait to continue the journey that is this series!
International Guy #3 = Copenhagen - What a perfect “ending” to the start of a new series. I love Skyler and Parker’s realionship and Audrey did a great job on leaving us all hanging and wanting to get the next instalment. I cant wait!! I enjoyed this story about rekindling the love between the princess and soon to be king. And what a back story. Wooh!

This book was exciting to read. 3 Novella's in one book....Yes Please. I seriously can not pick which of the three hottest and smartest men as a favorite. The way that these guys worked together to create a successful business... I mean HELLO! I was in deep with each Novella and stayed tucked in on my weekend to read the first Volume of International Guy in one setting. This is definitely a book that I will recommend all around!

International Guy, Volume 1 by Audrey Carlan was one of my favorite reads this year. Volume 1 consisted of the first three books in the new series, Paris, New York, and Copenhagen. The story is about 3 friends running their business and their love for women. I look forward to the rest of the books in this series.

I got this ARC provided by NetGalley and Montlake Romace for honest review..
If you are reading Calender Girl, you will want to read this series also. I loved CG and in this book, the main character was so cool. Where I can find my own Parker Ellis? So we can say that Audrey Carlan make again very hot and smut series with awesome characters. This was so awesome book to read hot summer day when I was holiday. But also there was somethings which made me to want travel place like New York or even Copenhagen.
Parker Ellis was quite handsome playboy, but this doesn't seems like many other millionaire/billionaire books, because somehow the characters seems not so crazy alpha males. There is quite unique problems and those cities were just like I have imagined them, so it means that Audrey Carlan has spend time and try to figure what kind of place Copenhagen, Paris or New York are. It was the great thing and so positive also, because when you live country which located quite near to Denmark, you want to read books where you can see those place quite similar than what they are. The facts are to me quite importants and for examples if there is books where something happened to Finland, it not too nice to read that cities or towns are just like place for Sweden or Russia or located is wrong etc. So this means that I like how Audrey Carlan takes tha facts and also used them, and this makes those books more interesting. The same was with Calendar Girl series. And there was also many times when I laught so much, because some times there was so good humor parts, or I think they was part of humor of this book.

I'm gonna be totally honest here, and I really hate to do so. Let's begin by saying that I love Audrey Carlan. Her "Lotus House" series is one of my favorites and will always be. The "Calendar Girl" series, somewhat of a similar premise to "International Guy," was also a favorite and I couldn't read them fast enough.
However...International Guy just...didn't do it for me as much. I wanted to love it, I really did. But I wanted to slap the protagonist, and then I wanted to yell at the women. I loved how the gang empowered the different women characters they encountered, but at the same time I felt like they were SO DEMEANING. Making it all about the makeover, and that a woman can only succeed when she dresses like a sex kitten and is propped up by three (excuse me) douchebags?
No.
I'm still going to say it's "ok" because maybe some people will like the boys. Not to mention (again) that I will always read Audrey Carlan. But I really couldn't with this book. Thank you for the ARC, I truly appreciated it. But I won't be recommending this one.

Paris-This new series has a lot of promise. I enjoyed book one, where the guys go to Paris and help Sophie transform and prepare herself to take over her dad's business. Paris is the city of love, and there is romance stirring between Sophie and one of the guys, Parker. But it sounds like the other two guys are quite the catch as well. It all ends well and on to the next assignment.
I'm curious to see as the series goes on, if it will solely focus on Parker or some books about his partners. For now it feels like an adventure, and I'm ready to be taken along to each destination.
New York-Book two in the series, and this one has me thinking Parker may have met the one? It's still a little early for all that and he has a business to run, so we will see.
Actress Skyler Paige needs his help, and they have fireworks together from the beginning. Who says you can't mix business and pleasure? I mean we are all adults here. He's crushed on her as a celeb for years though, and I see a few things that could trip them up in the future? Ah well. On to the next adventure!
Copenhagen-These guys can turn any situation around! This time it's with a princess. No romance for Parker, so I guess I was right that there will be more of him with the actress. How much more, I don't know but I'm hopeful. Mostly enjoying the adventure element to this all. Helping out royalty- treating them just like anyone else. I mean what a unique little job these guys have created for themselves. I don't have book four yet and I wouldn't quite say this one left in a cliffhanger, but definitely with some worries as to Parker's eventual happy ever after.

Volume 1 of the International Guy is packed full of romance and has a similar set up from Audrey Carlan's Calendar Girl Series. This series has a male point of view and is a nice departure from the female driven voice of most romances on the market. This series highlights the experiences with each individual client and shows that every relationship is different. Just like with the Calendar Girl series, each relationship that is forged leaves both the client and the main character with a new friendship and new understanding about themselves that each did not have coming into the picture.
The first three stories has started a new puzzle for the Parker to unravel as much for the client as it does for himself. He was burned by a women which has left a lasting impression for him on love and relationships with women. His ongoing relationship with each of his clients but especially with Skylar to be an ongoing theme throughout the rest of the series. Of course the usual miscommunication which is forever a theme in books as well as real life well be found coming in with every new puzzle each relationship brings.

INTERNATIONAL GUY 1 - PARIS - 4 STARS
I have not read any of Ms Carlan's books in the past, however I have heard good things about her so I decided to give her International Guy series a go.
I am still a bit confused what to call these guys. Motivational guys? Makeovers? Mah, whatever they are, I did enjoy IG: Paris.
I liked that our leading lady didn't whimper and simper, she just needed guidance.
I do like Parker, Bo and Royce, though I wish we had gotten more of Bo and Royce - perhaps they are later on in the series
There is instant spark between Parker and Sophie, and things do heat up pretty quickly between them - though I did feel that Parker is pretty unprofessional the way he hits on his clients right away - but maybe this is just me.
IG Paris is a sexy Parisian romp, and I am looking forward to seeing where this series goes next.
INTERNATIONAL GUY 2 - NEW YORK - 3 STARS
ARC received via Netgalley for an honest review
Oy, I know what to call these guys now (well especially Parker) - I am beginning to wonder if their "business" is all a front for their gigolo business?
It again is mostly around IG Parker, this time his client is in NYC, and ugh, I didn't like him this time.
I mean, seriously dude, you are cracking a boner in front of, sniffing and kissing your client all within 5 minutes. Just no man, don't!
I liked our leading lady Skyler. I liked her vulnerability. And I freaking adore her best friend/manager Tracey and how she gave lip to Parker - you go lady!
I wish we had more of Bo and Royce in this one. I found Parker really unlikable in this one, and his actions just made me feel ick.
I will be carrying on to the next in this series, hoping we get more of the other guys this time.
INTERNATIONAL GUY 3 - COPENHAGEN 3.5 STARS
ARC received via Netgalley for an honest review
Ugh, not more of Parker, Parker, Parker again - though at least this time he isn't hitting on his clients, so I guess that is something.
This time we have a troubled princess as our client, and I felt for her so much.
I felt for her for her familial obligations, I felt for her and her hurting heart. I got frustrated with her at times, however I could understand why she did things she did.
I was glad that even though, again, this was Parker (and I am still not over how I felt about him in book 2) it wasn't so much of him this time.
I did love the he is still in contact with Skyler, though he was a bit douchey with some things there too - but this could just be me :(
After the second book, I wasn't sure that I would be continuing on after the 3rd that I already had, but now I know I will as I need to find out more about Bo and Royce.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the first volume of International Guy! Even though the books are novella lengths they don't read as such. They feel like you are reading a full length book.
The guys of International Guy are all such amazing characters to read but I love the main guy, Parker Ellis. Him along with his two best friends make up the trio of one extremely successful company. As they travel from one country to another, helping out different high-end clients their characters start developing, especially Parker. He stops being the playboy that he is and starts to realise that settling down might not be so bad.
I loved all three of these books and I can't wait to continue to read the next installments.

PARIS
It's been a good while since I've read something from Audrey Carlan but when I saw the blurb for International Guy I knew I had to give this one a go. To be honest, I'm not one hundred percent sure how I feel about this book. I liked the premise and getting to see the world but there was something about Parker...
I loved his attention to detail and how hard he worked. I was also a big fan of how he treated his parents and 'brothers'. But for someone who is the face of a global multi-million dollar enterprise, Parker was a bit immature.
The language barrier in Paris had me laughing out loud more than once. I liked that Sophie was a classy woman with a heart of gold. She fought for what was right while still reeling from a tremendous loss. I like how Parker and the rest of the team helped bring her confidence out and built a solid friendship.
NEW YORK
What a game changer it was for Parker when his newest client ended up being his fantasy girl come to life. Skyler Paige threw him for a loop and he *gasp* developed a feeling stronger than lust or friendship for her.
I liked how unsure both of them were. How their feelings made them both want to try something new. I liked Parker's protective side and the various ways he used the relentless media to his advantage. From disguises and photo shoots to messy buns and museums, New York was the start of something good and I can't wait to see what's in store for these two next!
COPENHAGEN
Hello crazy! This addition the the International Guy collection is just about as tangled as you can get. Royalty. Family. Duty. Fear. Love. Throw a sassy princess and a homesick Parker into the mix and things got pretty interesting pretty fast.
I liked that there was no hidden agenda here. The case was as straight forward as it could be- except that Christina was doing everything she could to not marry the man she'd loved for years. It took some digging but Parker got to the bottom of Christina's intentions and was able to steer things back onto the track.
Copenhagen is by far the most emotional of the International Guy stories so far. For as much loss as there was, I didn't feel that sad just hopeful that Christina wouldn't keep punishing herself and Sven. I also liked that Skyler was still very much present while Parker was half the world away. But the way things ended *gulp* I'm nervous to see what happens next.

International Guy is a very unique story with three guys that build a company in three cities helping people with unique problems. Each man has a specialty that helps the company. There are three stories to this book & each one is so good. There is The Dream Maker, The Love Maker & The Money Maker. I love the friendship between them & how they work so well together. This was a very fast paced book & hooked me from the start.

WOW! I have met my match in Mr Parker Ellis. The concept for International Guy is so unique and uniquely brilliant, Audrey is going to <literally> have an International success on her hands. The company, the characters, the plot have just sucked me into their vortex. IG was founded by Parker Ellis(the Dream maker) and his 2 Harvard grad buddies (aptly nicknamed the Love maker (Bo) & the Moneymaker (Royce),) We're first introduced to Skyler by way of a beauty campaign ad Parker sees in a department store in Paris --> she's his celebrity crush. This installment has the team traveling to Paris where we work with Perfume heiress Sofie (AKA SoSo, and Im not ashamed to admit I totally fell in love with her, and she is hot on the recs for the IG crew) New York with actress Skyler, and Princess Christina in Copenhagen. Each time the team has a new set of challenges to help these women overcome and they way in which they do so had be turning the pages at breakneck speed. I can't wait to see where Parker and Skyler's journey goes as IG continues to be a globetrotting trio.

I really enjoyed this book. It's similar in ways to the Calendar Girl books previously released by Audrey Carlan but not so similar it feels recycled, if that makes sense. The set includes the first 3 books of the series, and based on these I can't wait for the remaining books for more of the International Guy Inc guys and to see how this series plays out! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.”

Audrey Carlan brings to life three gentlemen who are the whole package. They are Parker Ellis, Bogart "Bo" Montgomery, and Royce Sterling. These three friends started their own business called International Guy. The Dream Maker, Lovemaker, and Moneymaker cater to women and help them out in every way possible.
In Paris, the whole team assembles to help out heiress Sophie Rolland handle her family business and image taking a very hands on approach.
In New York, we meet movie star Skyler Paige who is in need of Parker's magical personal touch to help balance her personal and professional life. We also meet Wendy Bannerman, the newest addition to the International Guy team.
In Copenhagen, we find Parker helping out Princess Christina Kaarsberg find out what she truly wants in life when love and duty are in play.
Parker, Bo, and Royce make each client feel important and special in their own unique way. They tease out the crux of their issues and get to the heart of the matter so they can solve their problems. I feel that even though Parker first meets with every client to figure out whether the rest of the team is needed, there was not quite enough of Bo and Royce. Since this is a series, I am sure they will be making more appearances and not just cameos.
I have enjoyed Audrey Carlan's Calendar Girl, Trinity, and Lotus House series. International Guy has the same sexiness vibe and good story lines to keep you turning the page. I look forward to seeing where else they will go and who else they get involved with as well as see further developments with the characters we have already met and love.

I'm a huge fan of Audrey carlan's calendar girl series and tbh I picked this up thinking it would be the guy version of calendar girl but I was surprised how different it is. International guy is a business made up of 3 really close friends who all have their own areas of expertise and they are hired as I guess you'd call them life coaches? To sort out various problems. The series takes them to a different city with every book.
Paris: 3/5 - I don't know why but for some reason this didn't read right for me. I found it a little forced and cringey in places. The story was good just not how I imagined it to be I guess.
New York :4.5/5 - loved this one. Chemistry between two main characters was believable and I loved the banter between the two.
Copenhagen :4/5 - I enjoyed this one. Bit different and lots of references to royals etc made it interesting.
Overall a solid start to a series and I can't wait to see what's next. Bring on the next instalment!

I really wanted to like this book, but it was lacking in all the parts that make a good romance what it is. I love a good billionaire that hates love and doesn't want it for himself, but then meets the love of his life. And I love far off excursions. Maybe it was the author's writing style that wasn't for me.
Oh well, I would try a different book though.
I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A fun read for someone else but just no for me, I struggled to finish the book and was very disappointed because this seemed like this was the type of book I would like but I didn't find it sexy and all.

bookshelves: netgalley-arc
Dnf.
This wasn't for me.
I had a hard time buying into this one; three guys who specialise in...idk, some kind of whole life makeover for folks who need to buy in their help to look the part or keep up appearances.
Oh and the business name was International Guy. I tried to suspend disbelief, really I did, but I had a hard time imagining a world where a name like that wouldn't incite international derision.
I'm sure that's just me.
All three business partners travelled to Paris to makeover a perfume heiress, showing her how to dress and present herself. Hmm. Anyway, professional they were not, all three guys leering over her and the H feeling her up at every opportunity. It just felt icky rather than sexy and erotic to me.
Then he hooks up with a random (in detail) and I'm just not interested in reading anymore. I was hoping for sexy and romantic not this.
I'm sure plenty of others will enjoy this as the writing flowed well, but this was heavy on the erotic and too light on the romantic for me.
Thanks to the publisher via netgalley for the arc.

I absolutely loved this book! It was fantastic! I loved being in a man’s mind and seeing things from his perspective. Great job!
