I have been waiting to read this since I finished Dirty Exes. We are once again in Blaire & Isla's world, except this time it's all about Isla's happily ever after. Due to 'circumstances', she is forced into a fake engagement with the man they wronged, Jessie. Neither she nor he can resist the fireworks between them. She is colorful, organized chaos and Jessie begins to realize maybe color isn't so bad after all! We have the original suspects from book one; Blaire, Colin, Abby, and Jessie's poisonous ex; but we also meet Isla's hilarious character of an Aunt, Goo-Poh. Sizzling, sassy, sexy, steamy, hilarious, tender. All the feels and tasty deliciousness Rachel is so good at delivering! I received an advanced copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

After reading Dirty Exes, I was excited to get Isla's story in Dangerous Exes. We get a little bit of Isla's explosive scene with her ex in the first book, and from just that I wanted more about her! This book did not disappoint. First, Rachel Van Dyken took me not really liking or caring about Jessie, to not only being invested in him, but actually liking and rooting for him. Isla is this brilliant mix of spitfire and caring female. Plus, we meet her Goo-Poh, and that woman is a force unto her own--the humor she brings to the story is amazing! This book just gave me so many feels. I would recommend reading both of the books in this series!

Rachel Van Dyken is one of my favorite romance authors because she has romance, humor, and normally plot and character driven books. Her books to me are brain candy: easy, yummy, and enjoyable. This book definitely has the insta-love thing going so if you don't like that maybe this book isn't for you. This is the second book in a series but can be read as a stand alone.

The dynamics in this book between Jessie and Ilsa are explosive. I loved every word of this book, the banter and the all around I'm going to get you attitudes of both were hilarious. Also the emotions coming from both were heartbreaking and heartwarming all at the same time. I enjoyed this book so much, I didn't want it to end.

I recieved an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. I liked this book. Rachel Van Dyken is one of my go to authors for romance books. This one is the sequel to Dirty Exes and even if you could read this book by itself it makes more sense when you read Dirty Exes first. Isla and Blaire own a PI company that in Dirty Exes was hired by Jessie's ex-wife. With a crazy aunt, a manipulative ex-wife, an angry man who wants payback and a woman who wants to keep her business booming this story had many moments of comedic humour, angst, and frustrating feelings.

Isla and Jessie are complete opposites, but both have been hurt by past relationships. When the sparks between them start flying and a reporter catches them kissing the duo decides to fake being in love to keep their repuations clean. The only problem with faking being in love is sometimes you forgot your faking...and when you already have your plan of revenge in motion things tend to hit the ceiling.

Honestly, my favorite character of this book was Isla's aunt (Goo Poh) because she was so bat crap crazy and I would love to see her in another book!

"It's just in his nature to be hotter than ninety percent of the male population, don't hold it against him."

I met both Jessie & Isla in Dirty Exes and I've been anxious and excited to read their story. They are both very colorful characters and are especially entertaining when hanging out with their best friends, Colin and Blaire. Their witty banter is hilarious. But, that was nothing compared to the hilarity of meeting Isla's aunt. She stole the show and kept me laughing till the end.

The reason that besties Blair & Isla started their business, Liars, Inc. is sad, but I've been cheering in the background as they work to help others who have suffered the same heartbreak and betrayal. They are highly motivated to help others who are being duped and their business is growing faster than they can keep up. They are at the point they need to hire more staff to handle the clients that want to hire them.

That doesn't sound like a bad problem to have, right? Unfortunately, that's not their only problem.
One of the exes of a former client is seeking revenge. He feels like they ruined his life and he's determined to return the favor. He's trying to ruin their business and Isla can't let that happen. It's everything to her.

Seeing him around every corner as he stalks her is upsetting. Having him parked across the street from their business is unsettling. Unable to deny his sexiness and her attraction to him is disturbing. "Why is he so hot? Why?"

The dynamic duo is used to doing the investigating in their PI business, imagine how they feel being on the receiving end as everything they've worked for is threatened. Well, as you've probably guessed, they have a plan that includes charts and highlighters. What Isla isn't prepared for is when the plan backfires. Prepare to be amused and entertained. Dangerous Exes is nonstop fun. It's full of sass and wit, tea time and sexy time, secrets and suspicions.

Rachel had her hands full with the task of making Jessie more likable. I was a little biased against him since the first book. She did a great job turning him around and had me loving this couple. This book was funny, sexy and a little intense. It's an all around great read.

Not too often do I enjoy the 2nd book in the series more than the first, but that was the case with Dangerous Exes. I was looking forward to Jesse and Isla's story and Rachel Van Dyken didn't disappoint.
Isla was so fun, strong and real and Jessie well he was smoldering and a complete sweetheart deep down. There was plenty of humor and sexiness to this book and I would definitely recommend it.

Dirty Exes was fabulous and I wasn’t sure how RVD was going to top that with Dangerous Exes but she did. This book is about co-owner of Dirty Exes, Isla and the other co-owner Blaire’s ex-boyfriend Jessie. They are very entertaining as they try to get to each other before they get caught up and give into attraction for one second. After that they have to figure out how to fix it. There is a plan formed, powder blue wall, life lived for comfort not aesthetics, tea, chickens and one fabulous great aunt. This book is full of entertainment and I could not put it down. Isla and Jessie trying to get the other to give in is so funny to read and their tactics are so funny and not the best thought out plans. Anyone who is meticulous or a planner will get a kick out of it as well because Isla is my soul sister with her planner, lists, highlighters, pens and so on. Also let me tell you if you enjoyed any book with Grandma Nadine I’m almost certain Goo-Poh is her BFF. Happy reading you will not be disappointed.

If you read Dirty Exes, then you have already met Jessie and Isla. This is a standalone, however, I was a bit cloudy on what happened at the end of that one so I read the last few chapters as a refresher to Jessie's situation. So while Jessie and Isla were friendly in Dirty Exes, they are now enemies.

Jessie feels completely betrayed by Isla and blames her (and his ex-wife) for his current situation. He wants to destroy her reputation like his got destroyed. Isla feels bad for what happened, but will not let him wreck her business. The mutual attraction is muddled in the mutual "hate". Good Lord above, Jessie and Isla have some fantastic chemistry!

I usually have problems with enemies to lovers because the animosity and conflict give me real anxiety. That did not happen here. Jessie and Isla help each other change and become their real selves with humor and feeling. I love when I don't want a book to end. I wanted more at the end. GREEDY!!

I absolutely love this book. Totally recommend reading this book.

Isla is a PI and a badass. She is one tough woman. Her ex did a lot of damage to her so much that she didn’t trust men. She was striped from everything but yet came back fighting. I love Isla and the way she worked.

Jessie is an ex-NFL. His ex wife is evil and he blamed everything on Isla. He thought his life was ruined. He had a wake up call. He is so sexy. I love Jessie.

When Isla and Jessie got together they were like any other couple. They would fight, argue and banter with one another. They couldn’t stand one another but that quickly changed. I loved them together. Isla aunt is no joke, she is hilarious. They made a great team.

I couldn’t put this book down. Rachel Van Dyken you are amazing and talented woman. Absolutely loved this book and can’t wait to read what’s next.

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. I really enjoyed Dangerous Exes, it was smart and well written with a lot of "laugh out loud" moments. It was easy and enjoyable.

Loved this romance! It was a combination of friends to enemies, hate to love and fake relationship mixed in one. Isla and Jessie were too cute together. They meshed well even when they wanted to hate each other. They freed one another from their terrible pasts and allowed one another to be true.

The romance was well thought out and took time. Steamy scenes were well written. Secondary characters all amazing. My favorite secondary character had to be Goo-Poh as she was bold, funny and eccentric.

Great romance. Definitely plan to read the other books in this series.

Jessie is mad and hell bent on destroying Isla's life and business. His ex wife has destroyed his reputation and has turned the public against him after using Ilsa's PI firm to catch him cheating. In return he not only blames his ex but also Isla. After making himself a nuisance in her life Isla desided that two can play that game.

What follows is a game of cat and mouse that turns into more. The tension builds between them as the have to grudgingly put up a united loving front if they want to save Jessie's reputation. Things don't go exactly according to plan but it could be worse, right?

I have to admit that I love Isla's great aunt! She is elderly, fierce and has a talent of saying the most embarrassing things! She is the comedian of the story.

It's a good romp of a read, a bit predictable but still a fun read.

This was an intense read! So much action. I enjoyed it even more than the first book in this series!!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

If you have read the first book in this series (Dirty Exes) then you absolutely need to read this one. If you haven't read the first book then backtrack and read that one first! This story picks up where Dirty Exes left off just following Jessie and Isla and the trouble that they create. I don't want to give anything away but know that the story involves crazy chemistry, ocd tendencies, fake relationships, proposals, fights, a crazy aunt, dragons, a marriage bed, and chickens.. crazy right? Just read it, its great!

Laugh Out Loud Funny! I've read all of Rachel Van Dyken's books and when you can smile and snort-laugh when reading a book - I call it a good one. Rachel's books have a way to make you feel all throughout, to cheer for the characters and embrace them.
Jeremiah wanted revenge for everything Dirty Exe's PI took away from more specifically he wanted to run Isla! Only he didn't expect to feel.
Isla wasn't going to let Jeremiah take everything that's she has worked for - besides it was his ex-wife that caused all the problems.
This is a fantastic Enemies to Lovers book! I highly recommend it.

As alway Rachel did it again. This is a fun love story. The story somewhat started in the first book but you definitely don’t need to have read it to enjoy this book. The story of Jessie and Isla is fun, hot and funny. You will be laughing out loud and rooting for them by the end.

I received a copy from Skyscape via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I love Rachel Van Dyken's books. I was amazed and excited to receive a copy.
This is Rachel Van Dyken's second book in the Liars Inc Series. It's also a spin off from her Wingman Inc Series. This follows Blaire and Isla who became Private Investigators with their own business called Dirty Exes Inc, after being burned by their dirty, filthy, cheating exes. Now they bust your dirty, filthy cheating partners with their proverbial pants down.

This is Isla's, Blaire's best friend and business partner and Jessie, Blaire's exes book.
Isla is a planner, everything is in order, colour co-ordinated, highlighted. Takes her job and business seriously. Jessie is black and white, clean, neat, controlled.
He's also trying to get his life back on track after getting humiliated by his manipulating, conniving,  cheating ex-wife who she hired Dirty Exes to catch him cheating, but was the innocent party, his wife at the time made it look like he was. But it was her all along.
So now he's out for revenge and he's gunning for Isla and Dirty Exes to 'destroy her like she destroyed him, from the inside out.' Feeling betrayed and hurt he goes to the extreme to try and clear his name and ruin Isla and Blaire's company.

They both end up playing each other to see who gives in first. That is, until things get a little out of hand and a bit complicated. So to cover their butts they say that their together.
Could this work out for them to save Jessie's reputation and Dirty Exes?

Isla's Goo-Poh (Aunt in Chinese, due to Isla being half Chinese) is hilarious, she's all for traditions, everyone has that one relative that's a bit crazy. She's Isla's.

Isla's grandma is laugh out loud funny her.

Isla decided to be fake engaged to Jessie in order to save her business and to clear Jessie's name in the process, just as you would suspect a lot of things back fire on them but the things that didn't is that Jessie learns to loosen up and learn to let color into his life read the book and then you will understand what i mean by that. Isla learns to trust and to let loose with things that she can't control
