Thank you for providing a copy of Wild Child by A.S. Green. I initially took a break from it, intending to return later, as I couldn't get into it at the time. Unfortunately, I’ve since lost interest in revisiting it. I appreciate the opportunity and look forward to exploring future titles that align more with my current reading preferences.

This is truly a wonderful contemporary romance series. I really enjoyed reading this book. I really like the author's writing style and she did a great job of establishing the backstory without spending half the book flashing and back and forth.

I could not get into this book, at all. I’m not sure if it was just me, but it just fell flat and I didn’t end up finishing it.

Wild Child tells the story of Jax and Nathalie. Six years ago Jax and Nathalie were in a relationship until they left each other. Six years later they meet again and they both don’t know how to act around each other. But it’s getting harder for them when Nathalie accepts Jax’ job offer.

Wild Child was yet another amazing Contemporary and New Adult read published by Entangled Publishing. Entangled Publishing is one of my favourite publishers when it comes to Contemporary, New Adult and Romance.

I finished Wild Child in one day because I couldn’t stop reading. It was so fast paced and well written. The story was so enjoyable, and the characters were amazing. I really enjoyed reading in Jax and Nathalie’s perspective. You get to know their true feelings and thoughts.

One thing I also really liked about this story was that Jax has been through a lot and he finally let Nathalie in on his deepest secrets. It must be really hard for him to do something like that, and that’s something really beautiful!

Wild Child was the first book I read written by A.S. Green, and now I cannot wait to check out her other books!

Not exactly what I was expected still it was a great romance!I really enjoyed reading this book and will definitely check out other books by the author. The first half of this book was everything I love about second chance romances- it hooked me from the very beginning, it was angsty and it has what I love in my romances! The second half was ok and this why it wasn't a 5 stars for me.Also I would like to know more about Jax.Overall it was a great read!

What a great story! Jax and Nat met six years before and fell in love, unfortunately a misunderstanding broke them apart. At the start of this book they meet again in surprising circumstances. Nat lives on Bear Island where she is everything to everybody including helping the wedding planner at a high profile wedding on the island. Jax now owns a security company hired to work the wedding. They meet unexpectedly when Nat has to meet Jax from the ferry and both of them are totally shocked and pretend that they don't know each other.

Despite trying to ignore each other, their attraction cannot be denied and after Nat successfully deals with an incident at the wedding Jax asks her to help him with another job. Jax is afraid to fly following his experiences in Afghanistan so they embark on a long road trip.

The sexual tension in this story is so thick you could cut it with a knife yet they both stubbornly refuse to reveal who they are to each other. When it does eventually happen Jax is very conflicted and afraid to get hurt again even though he is finding it hard to resist Nat.

So much damage has been done by a simple misunderstanding in the past and it is going to take time for these two to find their way back to each other. The story has many twists and turns which makes it different and interesting and is a wonderfully passionate love story. I highly recommend it.

A great second chance for romance and an old flame. Jax has got a lot going on. He definitely had to sort through his crap, but it was very hard not to like him. He and Natalie had a thing going but then she broke up with him. I love that Jax is a war hero (military) and he totally says it like it is, when his foot is not in his mouth. But Wild Child is a fun read. Perfect for poolside entertainment.

My wish was granted by NetGalley to read an early version of this book.

A little too predictable for me. I did enjoy the male character, but the girl really bugged me. I couldn't find anything in the story to relate to and the book didn't really hold my attention.

they met on a road trip years before wild child begins, and fell head over heels in love. but the need to take care of those closest to her sent her home. and he felt abandoned, shattered by how easily he was left behind.

when jax and natalie cross paths by chance once more, circumstances keep pulling them together. that wild atttraction, that crazy love is still there. but they've also grown up, changed from the two kids who fell in love one summer long ago.

it's going to be in how they deal with the latest set of obstacles. if they can fight past the old hurt and pain and reach the point where their love is at its purest, truest, and most real.

**wild child will publish on june 18, 2018. i received an advance reader copy courtesy of netgalley/entangled publishing (embrace) in exchange for my honest review.

Hilarious! I love the banter between Jax and Natalie. Their adventures should be televised because it just could capture peoples attention. There was interesting chemistry between the two main characters, and I also loved the sad plot twist because sometimes you can not always have the entire happy ever ending.

I loved this book so much! It definitely keeps your interest and can't stop reading. It's a fun read that you won't be able to put down!

Jax and Natalie met six years ago and had a passionate but short relationship. It ended when Natalie returned home to Little Bear Island. Neither forgot the other but six years is a long time to be apart and a lot has changed for both of them in that time. A wedding, a road trip, and some private investigating give them the opportunity to get to know each other again.

I love second chances so much!! I couldn't put this down. Jax and Natalie are such impressive people. Natalie can do just about anything and Jax has built a successful security firm in the three years that he's been home from Afghanistan. I loved the check in with Katherine and Bennet from Summer Girl. I hope that there's more visits to Little Bear Island!!

*This is my voluntary review of an advanced reader copy*

I could not put this down! I sacrificed a ridiculous amount of sleep to keep reading Wild Child, and I don't regret a single second. This is a slow-burn romance that will make your toes curl! Natalie and Jackson make you work for the feels, but it's totally worth it.

Veronica Mars and Jessica Jones are my original loves when it comes to stories about private investigators. The lifestyle might not be luxurious, but they get to look for clues and catch people doing things they shouldn't. I feel like that would be an extremely satisfying job! Jax does security detail (when I first typed this it said, "sexurity detail"), but he's mainly a private investigator. His jobs on the road with Natalie were some of my favorite moments, and I wish they'd had more time for adventures together.

However, once they arrive in New York, they stop teaming up and doing field work with each other. The book doesn't suffer because of it, I just thought it was an exciting aspect of the story that I enjoyed and wanted more of. Natalie is plenty busy with her new job, and Jax is... Jax. Dude has issues he's working on, and they are completely valid and understandable. I liked that Natalie didn't judge him for being so different after six years, because a lot can happen in that amount of time.

Wild Child kept me on the edge of my seat, made me laugh often, and was very authentic and solid. There isn't anything I would change about the story (cough.. more field work... cough), and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. There are some pretty intense scenes that made my heart race, but there are also sweet moments that are definitely worth revisiting. I cannot wait to add a physical copy of this to my shelves!

A fun story about two people who come together after being part for six years. Now Jax Spark owns his own security firm and is on an island for a celebrities wedding that his company was hired to provide security. The one person he was not expecting to see is Natalie O’Brien. She is the women who was a girl at the time that broke his heart after grabbing it and since then he has not let anyone close again. The ones he does either leave or die, his two friends from military are the voices in his head and constant reminder of that. Now the two of them in his suv acting like neither one remembers the other one and this only gets better when after the wedding Natalie agrees to go with him on his next job and then after that she goes with him to New Orleans where everything is brought out form the past. When she decides to go to New York and work with him things only get better to actually get worse to the point where she leaves once again. This time his friend tells him to go after her. There is a lot going on in this story. Their story is complicated and continues to get more complicated day after day. Read this good story to find out what happens. Very good characters from the beginning to the end, a very good book.

Jackson/Jax thought as he got on the barge that he should not have taken this job. Jax is the owner of Sparke Investigations and this client hired his for security for a celebrity wedding. He has to meet the wedding planner -Katherine- at the landing. Then the man who takes Jax’s ticket says he was married to Katherine and Jax was to head forward after getting off the ferry and meet with Natalie/Nat- Katherine’s assistant who will get him where he has to go. Nat lives on Little Bear Island and has all her life. Then when Nat gets in his car Jax realizes Nat is the one woman besides his grandmother/gram who had ever really mattered to him and he had thought she was his. He had recognized her smile, the same smile she used before she through Jax away, them away. Then Jax goes into self preservation mode and acts like he doesn’t know who Natalie is by introducing himself as if to a stranger. Nat had never got over Jax no matter how hard she had tried he had been the man to take her virginity as well as her first love and they had been together non stop for five weeks.. It had been six year since the last time they seen each other. Then Jax had a job for the next night in Chicago and the girl who was suppose to do the job with Jax had canceled and Katherine said Nat could do it. They had to ride nine hours to get to Chicago- as Jax didn’t fly after his experience in the Navy Seals. That will mean twenty four hours together. Jax is messed up in his head as he thinks his closest relationship is with a dead man- Charlie. Jax has the client who believes her husband is cheating and she also believes the proof will be on his phone. So Natalie has to distract- Fenton- the husband- and get his phone and then get it to Jax and let him copy the contents and get the phone back in Fenton’s possession. Natalie has no problem getting the phone and Jax made sure he acted like he had found Fenton’s phone under the table. Jax remembers his and Natalie’s time together and what they had- her daring, her sense of adventure, the way she wants to make Jax laugh.
I loved this book it was an excellent romance with a little action and some drama. I didn’t want to put this down and it didn’t take me long to read the whole book. I loved Natalie and all the chances she gave Jax realizing how messed up he was by his addicted mother Debra and the time he was a Navy Seal but knowing he loved her. So at least he did have a reason to be a butt. I loved Jax and Natalie together and how they interacted together at least most of the time. I loved how all Jax’s employees really liked Natalie. I loved how Natalie and Jax are really soulmates and couldn’t help being together. I loved the pace as well as the plot. This book had me from the first page until the last and I loved the ending. Happily I could find nothing to criticize in this book. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend.

4.5 stars - Surprising good. I’ve never read anything from this author. While the blurb sounded interesting, I tried to keep my expectations low. There was no need for moderate expectations. Wild Child is a very gratifying read. I love second chances romances and Jackson was due for a good turn in life. It’s a pretty darn good read with heart, heat and a long awaited HEA.

I received an ARC of this book, from the publisher, via NetGalley, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Loved this story! It was filled with realistic happenings, timelines, and events. I truly enjoyed reading this book and feel that it’s a great romantic suspense novel to enjoy this summer. The story was written in a reasonable, realistic manner and the plot keeps you interested throughout the story. I hate that I missed the initial book of the series but this is definitely a great summer read!

An excellently written story about second chances and unfaltering love and honesty - could not put it down. I don't think I've ever come across characters that are so well suited.

I liked it. The writing style was good, the characters were likeable. The pacing was a bit slow (maybe that's just me) and the story keeps on dragging. I would like a more in depth back story though. I want to know more what happened to Jax (and Charlie, Ridgeway, and his mom). I feel like we've only scratch the surface, tbh.

I really enjoyed this one. I went into it with no expectations since this is a new author for me. I was pleasantly surprised with what I found. The book is very well written and I adored these characters. The story had a nice flow as well as very well developed characters. The author did a great job of letting us really get to know Jax and Natalie both past and present. This is a great second chance romance with Jax and Natalie reunited after six years apart. There were a couple of small timeline issues I had with the story but that's more my OCD than anything else. Overall though it's a very enjoyable book and one I would definitely recommend to everyone.
