I think this is a must read by both athletes and trainers . Very helpful on how to achieve mindfulness.
As a previous Division 1 Student-Athlete, I wish I would have had this book when I was competing! This books lays out mindfulness in an easy to understand way and is tailored to be very specific for student-athletes. Student-athletes have unique stressors, pressures and circumstances, and this book covers everything I went through as an student-athlete. I especially enjoyed the workbook format, as the questions were thought-provoking and great topics of conversation for teammates to discuss.
The e-book format was formatted slightly off, but I imagine that was a device issue and the print version would be even better.
This book would be a great asset for a team to use together, or for an individual student-athlete looking to fully train both their body and brain to be at their best. Definitely recommending it to my old collegiate coach for future use.
