Vanita Oelschlager shares with readers about idioms in Out of the Blue. The book falls into a grey area, not really certain whether it should be entertainment or educational, and hence falling short of both.

I think Vanita tried to do too much and get too many books out at the same time. Okay book but nothing outstanding.

A cute little educational book about idioms for kids. Would be good for a homeschool unit on the topic.

This is an excellent book for teaching children about idioms -- and they will enjoy the silly pictures. It reminds me a bit of a book that i loved when I was a child.

Very cute illustrations! My six year old could understood most of these, but wasn't very interested. It is probably best if they are a touch older. My wife and I got a kick out of this one.
