Sariah Wilson writes sexy addictive romance and once you start reading her, you’ll want to binge-read everything she’s written! Perfect for lazy days or beach/pool reads.
The was really sweet and I enjoyed it very much.the writing was really god and I was rooting for the main characters to get their HEA.
*Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher*
So when I started this book, I was slightly worried that I wouldn't love it as much as I loved #Starstruck, that it wouldn't be as amazing, etc. I just finished this book, and I can honestly say I loved this book as much as #Starstruck.
I think it's very easy to see ourselves in Maisy, which makes the relationship with Ryan seem that much more special and slightly personal...like it could maybe really happen for us. It takes very good writing to put a reader in that zone, and Sariah has managed to do that with her books.
Two thumbs up, five stars, and pretty please write another book quickly!!!!
I haven’t read anything by this author before but I would read more by her! Not your typical rock star/sweet girl story. This was more about the relationship building between Maisey and Ryan. It was a sweet and steady rise to a satisfying happily ever after. I was surprised by the lack of sex but found that I didn’t miss it.
Another enjoyable story for this series! I liked the chemistry between Ryan and Maisy, even though she really wants nothing to do him, seeing what his career is. Their fake relationship starts to feel real, and Ryan's let it be known that he wants their relationship to be the real thing, but Maisy's got plenty of hangups and fears about dating a musician.
What a rollercoaster.
Here we meet Ryan and Maisey, they are both musicians, but Ryan is already a well-known name and Maisey and her brothers are just getting started.
After a rocky first meeting, Ryan takes a liking to Maisey and her band, so after some issues with his opening act, he hires them. However that also comes with something else, and that’s Maisey and him fake a relationship.
Although not everything is fake, since there was a lot of tension between these two. There was also some family thing in there (and I totally felt for Maisey), so it added more insight into these characters.
I enjoyed this all in all, there were ups and downs, some drama here and there and I enjoy rock stars stories, so that was a plus, lol.
*Thank you to Netgalley for providing a copy for which I’m giving my honest opinion*
I wasn't sure that another book in the series would be able to exceed my expectations, but it did. I LOVED this novel. Fun, light, a little angst, everything, just everything. I can't wait for the next one.
Loved this book. I really think that this would make for a good movie. Hopefully someone picks it up and we can see this on screen some day.
Maisy Harrison grew up being taught to not trust men, she trusts her brothers implicitly but men in general not so much. When she ends up backstage at Ryan De Luna's concert, she is more curious about his guitar then the singer. She has seen the tabloids on Ryan and doesn't want anything to do with him. However Ryan ends up seeing Maisy's cover of one of his songs on YouTube he wants to see her in person. Ryan offers her and her band a chance to tour with him. Maisy's life is about to change and as she grows closer to Ryan she finds herself in danger of losing her heart. Can she trust the man who is quickly becoming important in her life?
This was wonderful. Loved every moment. I did have one outstanding question where Ryan's cousin was concerned but overall thought the story was perfect.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book which I received
through Netgalley. This is an amazing second book in the #Lovestruck series!!! I loved every second, can't wait for the 3rd book!
Maisy has had a hard, but good, life and I love how real she is. Because of her past, she has one rule and it just may become a broken when Ryan the charmer enters her life. I love how they meet and how they get to know each other at first and wow, do the sparks fly throughout this one! I almost melted into a puddle of goo on a few occasions. My favorite books involve sizzling hot fake romances, a whole cast of fantastic characters, and witty, hilarious banter, so let's just say I was in heaven with this one.
Maisy is tough and has to be with three overprotective older brothers, but she's also sweet, sensitive, insecure, and a bit snarky on the inside. The changes she goes through as she grows up and accepts more responsibility are tender and heartwarming. As for Ryan, that man could charm the horns off of a raging bull. I don't know how Maisy could keep him at arms length for so long!
I've decided that this author has a great recipe for writing romances that are just as satisfying to me as a plate of decadent brownies and I'm craving more ASAP!
Content: mild+, swoony, steamy-clean romance (kissing, some innuendo)
Sariah Wilson does it again! I was blown away by this story, to the point where I read all of it in one sitting, I couldn't put it down that much!
I loved Maisy as a down-to-earth counterpoint to Ryan's stardom. He was a bit ugly in the beginning of the book, but I quickly grew to love him as well. Both Ryan and Maisy had problems with parents in their lives, but Maisy's attitude after what her father did was annoying at best, and wound up hampering the relationship quite a bit over the course of the book. Maisy's brothers were great, and I'd totally love to see what happens with them in the future!
The story was a clean romance, but didn't lack for sexual tension. I think it was a better read because it didn't have sex getting in the way of the romance building! This is one series and book that I have no regrets recommending highly to others!
A sexy summer read. Note that I haven't read the first book in this series, but I don't think you need to in order to read this one. The story flowed and the characters were well balanced!
**4.5 stars***
I don't think you can go wrong with a Sariah Wilson book. She has a writing style that appeals to me and I love it!
This is the second book in the #Lovestruck series. It's basically about famous people falling in love with the guy/girl next door. From the very beginning the dialogue between Maisy and Ryan is amazing. The banter drew me in and didn't let me go.
Maisy and Ryan have parent issues. It makes Maisy hard to trust a man, but a musician is an absolute "no"! That is until she meets Ryan and he breaks down most of her barriers. The relationship between Maisy and her brothers, Ryan and her brothers, her brothers and attractive females.... is fantastic. The core of characters is solid. I could not have asked for more.
The romance is pretty intense. Maisy and Ryan are attracted from the beginning, but she puts up boundaries and fights her feelings. She has vowed to wait until marriage to have intimate relations with a man, and it adds for some interesting conversations. Ryan is a gentleman, but there is a definite heat factor between them.
The books contains some pretty great kissing and lots of innuendo.

I am absolutely blown away by Moonstruck! This book is not a cheesy romantic piece of fluff which I ocasionally enjoy. Instead, Sariah Wilson has capitalized on a plot with a complex story about relationships. She also shows through her story telling that sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone in order to take a chance on happiness. Happily ever after is never guaranteed when you risk your heart but the rewards can be lasting love!
Now that is what I call a romance book! Absolutely loved it. The characters and story were extremely well done and it couldn’t have been better. Wonderfully done. Can’t wait to read more of her books if they are anything like this one.
Wow! I loved this story!
This is the first story I read about a famous singer and it was awesome!
Maisy’s life is music. She and her 3 brothers have a band and are struggling to get off their feet, while providing for their mother who is at an asylum after being brain injured after a car accident. Ryan is a famous -really famous- rockstar who’s touring the States. Maisy gets to know him through her best friend and sparks fly but in an antagonistic way, at least for Maisy... I won’t spoil the story by letting you know what happens... The important thing is that Maisy has a very important rule, based on her father’s sad experience of abandonment, which is: never date a musician! Will she be able to live by her own rule?... you’ll have to find out!
The story is realistic and relatable. There are hard issues addressed and how the protagonists deal with them. Sariah has a very deep way in getting you through the characters feelings, it is very emotional. The romance is clean, though a bit sensual for my taste. But the love that grows between Ryan and Maisy is strong and tried by a few obstacles.
I really recommend this book, it will keep you captivated!
I received a copy of this book from Mountlake Romance via Netgalley. My review is voluntary and all opinions are my own
Maisy Harrison is in a band with her brothers who feel very protective of her despite her ‘no dating musician’s rule’. She feels an instant attraction to pop star Ryan De Luna but fights it as she just doesn’t want to go there. Things get difficult when she finds herself having to spend time with him. Somethings got to give.
Sweet story of trying to escape the past and make sense of your own feelings.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own
This was my first read from Sarah Wilson and she did not disappoint. The story captured my attention from page 1 and I stayed up all night reading. Can't wait to read more from this author.
I really enjoyed this book! I thought Maisy and Ryan were cute. I liked that they were both musicians. Usually you have a fan or someone who doesn't want to be in the industry fall in love with the rock star. This was a nice take on it! I haven't read anything by the author before but I was pleasantly surprised with her writing style. Everything flowed really well. Even those this was the second book in a series I wasn't lost at all. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a Romance with some drama and a nice story!
