Star reasoning
⭐️ Right into it someone dies. Suicide? Murder? Drew me in right away with the situation.

-1 After the initial ah hes dead it slowed down and became la de da. I wanted it to stay intense and interesting and less hows school, whats up etc.

+ .75⭐️ It had potential. I liked the humor and relationships. Different from the usual school murder story but still had alot of Clichés (some of which i didnt mind)

-2.25Some people think that giving us every detail of what the characters look like is good but I dont like it. I dont want to know that you think he looks like a geeky adult i want to see through his actions that he is geeky. Its easy to tell the reader what the characters look like and less of showing. I dont like it especially when its done with all the characters.
Show dont tell. “Hes really shy.” I dont care that hes shy i want to see what he does the makes him shy.

Enjoyable and entertaining, not 100percent believable, but still fun to read. I like college sports, so that played well for me, if you aren't a fan, I'm not sure you'd enjoy as much. Light summer read, definitely would read another!
