If you're a fan of Joanna Wylde and are looking for a gritty MC romance, this one isn't for you. However, if you are just looking for a cute story with a not-so-badass hero, this will be right up your alley!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, secrets, regrets, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those book(s) first
Ace of Hearts (The Cursed Ravens MC, #1)
Knuckle Down (The Cursed Ravens MC, #2)

This is Zoe and Rogue’s story. Rogue has a pretty face but he is fierce. No one unless they are out of there mind will call him pretty to his face. VP of the MC he knows how to take care of business and get the respect he deserves. One thing he is sorry for in everything is not being able to take care of his mother. He placed her in a local nursing home that does a great deal for her and eases his mind. He is slowing fading away and he is having trouble with that. Zoe works at the nursing home. She has come to love Anne and knows she has a son. The more they see each other the more they want but she is holding back. Can he get her to open up and be the woman he needs or will she run and leave him behind?

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

If you've been reading Chantal Fernando's Cursed Raven's series then you've been anticipating Rogue's story since the moment he first started singing Disney songs. Going Rogue won't disappoint. We've all known that the men of the MC have more going on below the surface than meets the eye, but for Rogue to find his match in the nurse who is caring for his dying mother? Pure gold.

Rogue and Zoe were a perfect match and Going Rogue was worth the download.

First and foremost...I love this series! It has seriously turned out to be one of my favorite MC reads. Each story is so different yet all connect with the brotherhood. I loved that the conflict in the stories isn't just MC related. There are other normal every day issues with people that have jobs and responsibilities. So relatable.

Rogue and Zoe are freakin’ awesome. I fell for both of them instantly. He may be VP but this man is so darn thoughtful. Alpha and thoughtful and just perfect! I want more of him!!! Zoe is innocent. She’s a giver. A healer. She puts everyone else above herself. Total sweetheart.

This is a great story. Don't miss this series because it’s seriously one of the best!

I love being back in the world of the Cursed Ravens Motorcycle Club; their sense of family, brotherhood, and loyalty are what drive their actions and their decisions, and the women these men choose to give their hearts to give them exactly what they need amidst the danger and/or deadly circumstances their bikers face.

Zoe and Rogue may appear to be the quintessential ‘good girl’ and ‘bad boy,’ but upon closer inspection, there’s a sassy and adventurous woman beneath the sweet, caring, and compassionate caretaker and a man who loves his mother more than anything and feels helpless and haunted by the fact that he can’t save his mother or shield her from suffering.

Zoe and Rogue’s relationship starts slowly because of Zoe’s fears, but Rogue’s persistence and charm lowers Zoe’s defenses and even though Zoe remains hesitant, little by little, Rogue proves that he’s nothing like the guys from her past and that even though his life comes with a wide range of risks, it’s clear that she means something to Rogue and he’s not afraid to make his claim on her heart.

I love the bond that forms among the bikers’ old ladies and the fact that they watch out for each other, providing much needed insights and advice as the MC world can be difficult to maneuver.

Rogue’s mom, Mrs. Kennedy, and Zoe’s sister, Vanessa, add so much to the storyline; the fact that Zoe takes care of Rogue’s mom in the aged-care facility is what allows Zoe and Rogue’s path to cross and Vanessa helps Zoe to see just how isolated Zoe’s made herself since her last boyfriend’s lies and the death of her grandfather.

Going Rogue is a great addition to Chantal Fernando’s The Cursed Ravens MC series; this MC is more than a club…it’s a family and it means everything to each brother, and as a fellow biker finds his woman, she becomes vital to the club as well, and I’m hoping that Zoe’s sister, Vanessa, gets her own biker and becomes a part of the chaos and mayhem but more importantly, the love.

Going Rogue is book 3 in the. Cursed Raves series by Chantal Fernando. I have read the previous books Ace of Hearts and Knuckle Down, I loved each story and was so excited for Rogue. I enjoyed it a last but did not love it. The story was enjoyable and I connected with Zoe, and really enjoyed her as our leading lady.. I hope they bring back her sister Vanessa, she stole the show and I want to read the story of Vanessa and Gage. No, my problem was with Rogue. He just seems to lose his sexiness. I mean he was hot and all, but there was just something missing for me that was present in the previous books. Their relationship was almost “too easy” there was not real drama.i just missed him being a badass.
Will I read the rest of this serious? ABSOLUTELY! I am vested and want to know how this is all going to play out.

Cursed Ravens-Book 3

Rogue and Zoe

We met Rogue in the previous two books and learned that his mom has dementia. Zoe is his mom’s nurse. They meet when she is sitting in car enjoying her lunch and he parks his motorcycle in the employee parking lot. She yells at him to move it and he smiles at her, making her heart stop and her panties wet.

They try, but cannot fight the attraction to one another and give in. Their love is tested when trouble hits.

My father has dementia and parts of this book were difficult to read for me personally, but I did enjoy it overall.

As in the other books in this series, characters from Wind Dragons and Conflict of Interest show up. Clover (Wind Dragons) was in book one. I really wish she would have shown up again. I need a book about the kids of the WD as grown-ups.

I hope this is not the last book in the series. I need to find out what happens to Prez, Shovel, Shack, and Vanessa (Zoe’s sister). Does she end up with Prez? I need to know this.

I really loved the first book in the series, then I struggled with book two, Knuckle Down. I still wanted to read this one, because I was hopeful the story would be better and we would get more of the MC life that we got in book one.

Unfortunately, this one didn't work for me either. I felt like I was missing something. The author tried to intertwine different characters from her other series, and if you haven't read those series then you could feel a little lost like I did.

I will keep reading books by this author, but I don't know that I would recommend this series.

Love blossoms in the most unexpected of places in this sweet and steamy Cursed Ravens Motorcyle Club title featuring a hunky bad boy and a charming nurse.

The men might tease Rogue and call him pretty behind his back, but no one is going to say that to his face. As the vice president of the Cursed Ravens—and with an unpredictable and unruly temper—respect is given to him at any cost.

But Rogue reins himself in when he visits his mother in a local nursing home. Overwhelmed with guilt that he can’t take care of her himself, he can barely handle watching her fade away with dementia. And he knows the staff is exceptional—especially the sweet and beautiful caregiver who pays extra attention to his mom.
It isn’t easy working at a nursing home, but Zoe enjoys spending time with her favorite patient Anne. She knows Anne has a son who dutifully visits her, but when Zoe sees the tall, muscled, handsome stranger, she can tell he’s trouble—beautiful trouble. She knows he’s a Cursed Raven and she knows better than to admit she’s attracted to him. There’s no way she'll date an MC member. Been there done that. But as Zoe and Rogue start to get closer, they realize one way or another, they’ll have to fight to stay in each other’s lives.

Review:

This is the last book in the Cursed Raven Series. This book like the two others before feature a very likable. Both are independent and strong, but with foibles and issues to keep them interesting. I love reading the interactions, not just between Rouge and Zoe, but all the characters. The story is fun, sexy, and heart-felt. I loved the story and thought it was the perfect ending to this series. There is even a visit by a character from the Conflict of Interest series. Though I will not say why the character makes an appearance as to not five away a plot point.

Great story and ending to the series, though I think Prez should get his own story.

Sometimes we find love in the most random places and for for Rogue that’s not exception. Loud mouth and unapologetic Zoe manages to show him that she can be his equal and give as good as she gets. But rogue is also in this place for a reason and taking care of his mom and MC family is his priority, so when both worlds collide, can he handle it? And will Zoe want to still be part of his life?

4 Stars!

After Knuckle Down I was so anxious to read Rogue’s story. There was just something about him that intrigued me, not that he was even a huge character in the first two books, but we got just enough of him to leave me wanting more. I was surprised a bit by Going Rogue though because in my head I had imagined where I wanted his story to go and unfortunately, it went in a completely different direction. Of course, that’s my issue and has nothing to do with how Ms. Fernando wrote the book.

Rogue is the MC’s VP and Zoe works at the facility his mother, who suffers from dementia, is living in. Rogue is persistent in his pursuit of Zoe who wants nothing to do with him having decided she’s done with bikers. Of course, she’s unable to resist him for long and they end up on a great ride.

I liked them as a couple. They were different than the other couples in the way they balanced each other out. They established an actual friendship before the romance and it made things more realistic to me. There were some good emotions involved in the whole thing.

Overall I enjoyed Going Rogue and would definitely recommend it to Chantal Fernando fans.

3.75 stars--GOING ROGUE is the third instalment in Chantal Fernando’s contemporary, adult CURSED RAVENS erotic, MC, romance series focusing on the men and women of the Cursed Ravens MC. This is Cursed Ravens MC VP Ezekiel ‘Rogue’ Kennedy, and nurse’s aide Zoe Kane. GOING ROGUE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. The CURSED RAVENS MC series is a spin off from the author’s WIND DRAGONS MC. There is a slight cross-over with some of the characters of the previous series.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Zoe and Rogue) GOING ROGUE follows the building relationship between Cursed Ravens MC VP Ezekiel ‘Rogue’ Kennedy, and nurses aid Zoe Kane. Zoe Kane works as a nurse’s aide, and has befriended Mrs. K, a woman suffering with dementia who at times thinks clear enough to let Zoe know just how she feels. Meeting Mrs. K’s son, biker and Cursed Ravens MC vice president Rogue Kennedy, finds Zoe falling for a man whose love for his mother sets off the warm and fuzzy for our story line heroine. What ensues is the building relationship between Zoe and Rogue, and the potential fall-out as Zoe comes clean with a secret, a secret that could destroy Ezekiel Kennedy.

The attraction between Rogue and Zoe is immediate but Zoe has been burned in the past by another biker, a member of a rival gang. Rogue’s pursuit of Zoe is sweet including their lunch-time picnics, and introduction to the MC. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

All of the previous story line couples play secondary and supporting characters. We are introduced to Rogue’s mother Anne Kennedy, a once feisty and strong woman who is slowly succumbing to dementia and age. Zoe’s sister Vanessa is a fascinating character-an over the top, colorful and charismatic thirty-year old woman who is drawn to the Cursed Ravens’ president, like a moth to a flame. The camaraderie between Zoe, Vanessa, Erin and Celina is fun, fast and furious!

GOING ROGUE is a story of family and friendships; secrets and betrayal; passion and love. Most of the MC dealings and business transactions/jobs occur behind the scenes resulting in a ‘vanilla’ and softer MC story- the violence and danger are taken for granted; we are not privy to the how and why of some of the events, and the quick resolution without any details was disappointing. The epilogue fast-forwards the story line approximately three years. Let’s hope the author fills in the missing time-line with future stories. The premise is entertaining and engaging; the romance is seductive and sweet ; the characters are dynamic and colorful. GOING ROGUE is a sexy, sassy and spirited story line with an emotional and heart breaking undercurrent of dementia and loss.

Zoe is in Mrs K room checking on her at the nursing home she worked at. She really likes Mrs K even with her poddy mouth and she respects how Mrs K won’t take any BS. Mrs K has her good days and her bad days. Mrs K is a strong, stubborn, proud woman and it near kills her to need help from others. Zoe has her half hour lunch in her car as it is quiet and peaceful. She can sit and listen to music while she eats. But today she heard a loud motor of a bike pull up into the employees only parking lot. She tries to tell the biker he can’t park there but he doesn’t hear her and she finally gives up.But then the gorgeous hot man comes to ehr car window Zoe sees there is an air to the man that tells her there is much more to him than meets the eye. He introduces himself as Rogue. Zoe then walks to the doors of the nursing home but the man won’t let her get by him finally she says her name is Zoe and goes back to work. Then Rogue says he is there to see his mom if she remembers him today. Then his mood shifts and Zoe saw the pain. helplessness, guilt, and suffering rogue was feeling. For some reason Zoe’s chest gets tight. She was sorry because there was no happy endings here. Then Zoe learns Rogue is Mrs K’s son. Zoe wasn’t really surprised Rogue was Mrs K’s son as he was a badass and noone was as badass as Mrs K in the nursing home as far as Zoe was concerned. Rogue had just moved his mom to this facility two weeks ago as he wasn’t happy how she was treated at the last one. Rogue told Zoe that Mrs K had raised him and his two brothers by herself. He also said she had the biggest heart and sharpest tongue and he said he didn’t know how his mom had done it. She had worked, supported him and his brothers, and was always there for them.It had been over a year since Zoe had been in the dating game hand Rogue had “big mistake” written all over him. But he had only asked her to go to coffee after work but she still declined. Zoe doesn’t really have many friends as she keeps to herself. Then as they talked Rogue had made Zoe speechless by what he said and that was a first. But in a nice way. Two years earlier Zoe had dated a biker-Fox and he was part of a MC . Fox had never taken her for a ride on his bike or introduced her to any of his biker friends that should have told her something about how Fox felt about her. But then Zoe learns Fox had an old lady and for three months Zoe was his side piece- his dirty little secret. But for some reason Zoe found she wanted to give Rogue a chance.
I absolutely loved this book and didn’t want to put it down and didn’t. I read in in one setting. This was a quick, sweet, emotional romantic biker story I loved Zoe and Rogue together and how they interacted with each other. I loved the plot and the pace. I hope to read more of this author and hopefully she will bring out another book in this series maybe about the Prez or Vanessa or the Prez and Vanessa. I felt bad for the position Mrs K put Zoe in and how Rogue reacted. I loved how close Vanessa and Zoe were. I could find nothing to criticize in this book very happily. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend.

This is the third book in the Cursed Ravens MC series, and YES you do need to read the previous books, it just makes things that are mentioned make more sense. With the returning characters and their stories still being brought up, don't be confused, read books one and two.... they are amazing! This is Rogue's story, and in book two we found out about his mother being ill and the stress and guilt that he is under. Rogue visits his mother almost every day, trying to get what time he can with her. When his encounter with one of the caretakers leaves him wanting to know more about her, he proceeds to make sure that on his visits he also sees her. Zoe knows that dating another biker is just asking for her heart to be stomped on, but Rogue isn't taking no for an answer. So she will just have to be smart and do her best not to get too attached.... but that is not what happens, she falls just as hard and fast as he does. The only issues is can Zoe deal with everything that comes with being involved with the VP of an MC? Will she be able to hack it or will she cut and run?

I really liked this story, there was one plot issue that hopefully gets taking care of, but if you can get past that its a really good story. With drama, personal and MC kind, steamy sexy times, and some really funny bits, this was a good addition to the Cursed Ravens series, I give this 4.5 stars.

Good read. It just seemed to spin in one circle for a long time. It was a relationship book, no real drama or action at all. The Raven MC was totally in the background. They popped up at the end with some real made up drama that didn’t go anywhere. I didn’t feel a great deal of chemistry between them. Rouge seemed mysterious and have more of a background then what unfolded in this story.

It wasn’t bad, but it just wasn’t great. I just wanted it to be more than it was.

Received an ARC from the publisher through NetGalley.

What's the old saying? Third time's a charm? That's true in the case of this third story in this terrific MC series. The writing in this series is spectacular and the characters jump off the pages with great depth and lots of layers. A charming, sexy romance between the "pretty" bad boy biker, Rogue and the beautiful charming Zoe. Zoe cares for Rogue's mother at an assisted living home and they have an encounter during one of his visits. These two have a funny cute-meet when Zoe's sass charms the hunky Rogue. They had instant chemistry but Zoe knows he's trouble even if she's draw to him because of the way he treats his mother. She has so much sympathy for him. And as secondary characters go, Mrs. K is fabulous. Rogue is so panty melting and when he turns his alpha on Zoe she doesn't stand a chance of resisting. These two are a beautiful couple with a steamy connection and a symbiotic relationship. There is some drama and heartache in the story that tests the couple but the love is always there. It's great to catch up with the other brothers and their lives, loves and new additions. I look forward to the next story. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

Love a MC story and Chantal Fernando knows how to do them really well, like with this story.Rogue and Zoe’s story is sweet in how it starts it is not the usual intense insta-love i grows and becomes deep and special. But as we all know reading romance the path never truly does run smooth. OMG my emotions went on a roller-coaster and I really felt for both Rogue and Zoe. I must say Rogue is described in a way that has yourself mentally dating him, as he is the perfect sort of bad-boy biker we all love in our books. Zoe though has the endearing quality of being more like us everyday girls so i found myself really rooting for her. This story is sweet, romantic and sexy but also very emotional not only Rogue and Zoe but concerning Rogue’s mum Anne

Going Rogue is the third book in the Cursed Ravens MC series and I think it is my favorite so far. It’s no secret that I really didn’t like the previous book but wasn’t going to be deterred from one of my favorite authors because I wasn’t a fan of one of her books. I read Going Rogue in one sitting; from the beginning until the very end, I was intrigued with both Rogue and Zoe’s characters. The way they meet in a way puts a bit of a strain on their relationship as Zoe is one of the nurses taking care of Rogue’s mom.

Rogue and Zoe sort of circle each other’s orbits, you can feel the pull between them and you just wait until Zoe gives in to Rogue’s charms. I really liked his character, while he may have been a bit of a man whore in the past, when he commits, he commits and doesn’t stray. Zoe was a great balance to Rogue, she was his rock and he was hers. When something happens that rocks the foundation of their relationship, I wondered how both parties would be able to heal and if they would make it or not.

I hope we will be getting more books in this series because I can’t wait to read more. Chantal Fernando knows how to write MC romances and I am addicted to hers. This is one that needs to be on your TBR list for sure.

Throughout the Cursed Ravens MC series there has been one character who has intrigued me the most over all and he goes by the name of Rogue.

Rogue is the Vice President of the Cursed Ravens MC. He’s the pretty boy of the club, but don't tell him that, and he’s also the man who dominates the stage with his voice. I have been wanting Rogue’s story since the very first time he was mentioned in Ace of Hearts. I wanted to know more about this man and who he was on the inside.

Going Rogue isn’t all ‘pretty songs’ though. In Going Rogue we learn of Rogue's mother and her struggle with Dementia. We also witness Rogue’s struggle and his inability to grasp his mother’s disease. Having had a grandmother that went through this disease, I relate to Rogue in many ways. My heart broke repeatedly for him. I admit I cried a few times when witnessing Rogue’s anguish.

One thing I loved about this novel that trumps all others is the fact that Zoe is a nurse working with elders who suffer with Dementia and Alzheimer's. I loved the empathy that Zoe’s character added to this novel. She was a heartwarming source that helped heal the heartbreak.

Overall, Going Rogue was a great addition to the Cursed Ravens MC Series. Rogue was everything I wanted in a main character plus so much more. However, I feel as if a main aspect of Rogue’s character was looked over, that being his musician side. I felt in the other books Rogue was looked on as if he was a rockstar in the making. His voice was always mentioned, and I was a little let down that his voice was put on the back burner. I did really enjoy this novel, I just wanted more of the musician aspect mentioned and added.
