Going Rogue is the third book in this series. The Cursed Raven MC series is more of a sweet, sexy and non-angst series. It's not your typical gritty MC books. Rogue is the VP of the MC and he's pretty much been a low key character. He's dedicated to his brothers and also, trying to take care of his ailing mother. It's where he meets fiesty, Zoe, who happens to be a caretaker at the nursing home Rogue's mom is staying at. Their chemistry is instant and their banter is humorous. But being with a guy in the MC world is the last thing Zoe needs.
Overall, Going Rogue is fun and quick read that has plenty of sweet and very steamy moments.
I knew this was going to be the book that got to me. I was right too. It was so emotional and just beautiful. Rogue was the typical biker but he had a softness to him that I loved. He truly loved his mother and it killed him to have to put her in a home. It killed him that she was sicked.
While Zoe loved her job it was difficult for her at times as well. Working at a nursing home takes a special kind of person. When she meets Rogue she confronts him for parking where he shouldn't. She didn't think it was right and told him right away. She doesn't want to date another guy in an MC because she had been hurt by her ex who was in one.
However they fall into a relationship pretty easily. Then Rogue's mother asks Zoe to do the unthinkable and she is left with such a decision to make. Add in there is rat in one of the other clubs The Cured Ravens work with and things get crazy.
I liked both Rogue and Zoe as characters. I loved Zoe's sister and would love for her to have a story. Also I really want the club's president to have a story as well. As always Chantal Fernando left me breathless and yearning for more.
Rounding out the trilogy with the Cursed Ravens' charmer is a smart move. Rogue may be a ladies man; funny and charming to the ladies, he's the exact opposite in his motorcycle club. Hot headed and quick to lay down the law, the VP isn't one to mess with. His one vice? His mother, sick and near passing he visits her in her care daily. When a new day nurse arrives, Rogue is about to find a new weakness, one he'll have to fight for.
Zoe hasn't had much luck with men so focusing on her career gives her all the satisfaction she needs. When a patients smooth talking son continues to break down her walls, Zoe has to come to terms with his own career path, he's part of a motorcycle club. Zoe's had a brush with one in the past and she has no desire to try a second time to have her heart broken. But this tough looking biker is more than just a biker; hes a caring son and a loving man and Zoe may be the one woman to break down his gruff exterior.
Book 3 of this trilogy was a great union of the charmingly funny Ravens and the drama their club poses in their town. I liked that Rogue's story developed outside of the MC. Zoe and Rogue had this little bubble where their relationship grew beautifully. As the dangers of an MC creep in, they have to fight harder for the bliss they find in one another. Twists and turns and happy ever afters aren't always what they seem!
Going Rogue and the The Cursed Ravens MC Series is a softer biker series that just makes you feel good. While I normally crave the raw and gritty biker romances, I've come to enjoy the softer side from these men.
In Going Rogue, we get Rogue's story. He's the VP of the Curse Ravens and if you've been following this series, he's probably been on your radar. He's the one that was more in the background but you knew he was special and wanted more. Well, we got our more and let me tell you, he is definitely special. He's strong, sexy, and has a huge heart. His love for Zoe was so sweet.
I also enjoyed Zoe. I thought she was strong when she needed to be and vulnerable when when necessary. Her relationship with not only Rogue but the rest of the club and their women is strong. In fact, that was one of my favorite things about the book. I loved how much the woman banded together and how much all the brothers loved each other and the women. It's one big family that's full of love, laughter, happiness and a few crazy moments.
If you want a softer biker romance that will make you swoon, then you need to get Going Rogue. It will leave you happy and full of love.
Zoe and Rogue meet by chance when he visits his mom in the nursing home. The attraction and lust is instant but Zoe is reluctant to get involved with a biker. Rogue knows what he wants and is determined to get Zoe to change her mind. A wonderful story with emotion and steam.
Stars: 4.5
I really, really enjoyed this book, it held me captivated from the beginning. Rogue is the VP of the Cursed Ravens MC and women think he’s just a pretty face with a voice that is pure gold but there are facets that only his closest friends know about. He has to make a tough decision and put his mother in a care facility because she has dementia and she can no longer be on her own. Zoe isn’t supposed to have favorites at the care facility that she works in but Mrs. K is her favorite patient. She is a spitfire, but she also has dementia and a heart condition which is slowly killing her. Unbeknownst to her Mrs. K is Rogue’s mom. They meet, Rogue and Zoe, and it’s explosive from the beginning but only as a friendship.
This story takes you on an emotional journey and they both have to make hard decisions. Will their budding relationship survive these decisions? I hope this isn’t the end of this series. I want more Cursed Ravens!!
Such a great series, I really like the way this series goes.It was a long time since I find a great MC series.
Going Rogue was sweet and adorable. The characters started first as friends and then in something more! They have an amazing chemistry.
Overall, it was a great read!
Every time I think Chantal Fernando has written my favorite book boyfriend, she outdoes herself with another swoon-worthy guy. Rogue is oh, so swoon-worthy and all alpha male, yet still manages to know how to reel Zoe in without pushing too hard. I love the contrast between the family feel of this MC mixed with a bit of darker dealings and danger that the life entails. That darker part isn't the focus and it isn't overdone with the primary focus being on the romance between Rogue and Zoe. They have great chemistry and Zoe fits in well with the other women of the MC. As I've come to expect from this author, we also get some witty dialogue and humor along with some steamy fun and super sweet romance. This one is a great blend of love, loss, danger, tragedy, loyalty, and family. I don't know if there's another book planned for this series, but I would love to see everyone's favorite Prez find his true love. (Not that I'm hinting or anything😉)
I loved the book from page one to THE END. Don't miss it. The entire series is entertainment gold.
this is my favorite book of the series. There were a lot of ups and downs and emotional moments but that is what made it feel so real. How the MC is a family and stands by their own regardless of what is thrown at them. I really hope there is more .
This the 3rd book in this series, and can be read as a standalone, but i’d highly recommend reading the first two books, Ace of Hearts and Knuckle Down as you will love the familiarity of the Characters!
This is Rogue and Zoe’s story and and we know for our hot sexy bikers, Love is never easy. A Chance meets can really change lives and perceptions. When Zoe comes into contact for the first time with Rogue, she knows this is a bad boy she really should avoid, even if he is the hottest of guys and the first man in a long time that even intrigues her. Rogue isn’t a man that will take his time in chasing down exactly what he wants, and Zoe is what he wants !!!
I really loved this book, the relationship between Rogue and Zoe just captured me right from the start. This wasn’t insta love, yes there was definitely instant attraction and Lust !!! This made for a steamy combustible read! One i couldn’t set down. Zoe’s reluctance to become involved in Biker Life, held her back, Rogue’s determination to see her overcome that fear just melted my heart. But this book is also so much more, my heart was, at times in bits. The Relationship with Rogue and his mother just had me in tears with his devotion. His mother had me in both tears and laughter. What i did want, was to shove Zoe out of the way and claim that man myself !!!! He really is the perfect Bad Boy with the biggest of Hearts. I really liked Zoe, she was a girl that was just so real and down to earth, she could be any one of us and i found my self really rooting for her. When Zoe is put in an impossible situation my heart twisted, and i knew this was something that would possibly destroy them both, their life would be changed and I really hoped they would survive it!! This biker and his biker family will have you hooked, the kind of family we would all love and want! I can’t wait for more from this author, Super Writing and brilliant story telling !!!
Rogue is the only son close enough to visit his mother suffering from dementia. A tough situation that even a big bad MC VP has trouble dealing with. Zoe, her caregiver in the nursing home, is the one bright spot.
Rogue is a player. Never been tempted to settle--then Zoe enters his life. She isn't into biker club members. One bad experience is enough. Until Rogue. His patience and their friendship are fun to watch. Their growing relationship is hot, yet caring. I fell for both characters. It was fun to catch up with the rest of the club.
Not all is going well, not only his mom's illness, the club is under a magnifying glass by the local police. They are trying to find out if there is a mole and if so, who! Zoe's crazy big sis has contacts with a hot, successful attorney. They are gonna need. (Her sis is a such a kick. She needs her own story)
I loved the book from page one to THE END. Don't miss it. The entire series is entertainment gold.

Going Rogue is the third novel in Chantal Fernando’s delectable Cursed Raven’s MC series and is another thrilling romance this time featuring Cursed Ravens Vice President Rogue and the woman who wins his heart.
Aged care worker Zoe wants nothing but the best for her patients. At the care facility where she works, Zoe makes sure to give everyone a little extra TLC, but she especially enjoys spending time with her favourite patient Anne. Zoe knows dementia suffer Anne’s son visits her often in the nursing home, but Zoe never expected him to be a tall, sexy as sin biker. Even though he takes his fair share of teasing over his looks, Rouge is more than a pretty face. Vice president of the Cursed Ravens MC, Rogue always makes sure to visit is ailing mother, even if she often doesn’t know who he is. Saddened by his visits, Rogue soon finds his eye drawn to the kind and beautiful woman who looks after his mum. Having been burnt in the past, Zoe is hesitant to begin a relationship with Rogue but as he wears down his walls Zoe begins to realise that sometimes to really live you need to take a chance……
Back with another easily addictive MC novel, Chantal Fernando this time features Cursed Ravens member Rogue who I’ve very much enjoyed seeing in the first two novels. Fast paced but also sporting sadness within its storyline Going Rogue is an emotional read that weaves humour, romance, angst and drama into its pages. Introducing readers to aged care worker Zoe, Going Rogue unfolds through her POV and see’s the kind but still assertive young woman fall under Rogue’s spell.
I liked both Rogue and Zoe. I had no doubt I would love Rogue—I’ve loved all the Cursed Ravens, but Zoe won me over with her caring nature, reserved personality and kindness. As Rogue romances Zoe and urges her to take a chance on him, Chantal Ferando incorporates lots of sharp dialogue, sweet moments and endearing developments. Of course the sex scenes are scorching and the chemistry undeniable, but I really liked Rogue force Zoe to come out of her shell and dare to put her trust in Rogue. Having been hurt before by someone not all too different from him, this was a big thing for Zoe and Rogue’s position with the MC didn’t always make things run smoothly.
Going Rogue was filled with all the passion and angst I expect from a Chantal Ferando novel and hit all the right notes. I’m not sure if Going Rogue will be the end of the series, but I do feel there are most stories to be had with some of the Cursed Raven members. Shack and Prez in particular hold a lot of promise and I would love to see Fernando feature them in future novels.
Addictive and fast reading, Going Rogue is another wonderful MC novel from my favourite MC writer. I urge readers to check out this fabulous series and can’t wait to see what Chantal Fernando releases next!
Rogue was a character that caught my attention from the beginning and I was dying to get his book. Charismatic and gorgeous with a tremendous singing voice I was ready to see what his story was going to offer us. Unfortunately it fell short for me.
Rogue was all the above mentioned things but, when it got to his story it just wasn't enough for me. I wanted more from him. While he did have a lot of character growth throughout the book it wasn't enough to completely win me over. My heart still belongs to Ace.
Zoe was a strong character, she added a lot to the story. Her life was difficult but, she powered through and made the most of her situation. Her love for her family was beyond amazing and the lengths she would go to protect them was inspiring. While I liked her and appreciated what she added to the storyline she still wasn't a character that stuck with me after the book was over.
I loved the MC aspect of this book. The bond these men and women shared is what kept me coming back to this series.
Each book in this series is better than the last. This one is a sweet love story between Rogue the VP of the Cursed Ravens and Zoe the Aide that helps his mother. I highly recommend this series. I hope there will be more, Shovel and Prez need a book.

Chantal has written another fantastic MC story with a touch of suspense, family, loyalty, laughter and love. If you read the previous books in the Cursed Ravens MC, then you all have met Rogue. Rogue is the VP, beautiful and biker with a heart of gold. He is going through a tough time with his mother in a home living with dementia and one day when he goes for a visit he meets Zoe. Zoe is one of the nurses in the home and finds it difficult when she knows her patients are going through such a hard time. When Rogue and Zoe meet its just an instant chemistry that is hard to find. They are intense and heat up the pages with their stares and words. Their relationship is all about getting to know one another at first and when Zoe realizes that Rogue is pursuing her she finally gives up the fight. The relationship moves at a fast pace and they both fall hard but sometimes things can come between you when you least expect it to. Zoe is hiding something from Rogue and when it comes out he doesn’t deal with it well. Zoe and Rogue must keep fighting if they want that happy ending.
I believe this is my favorite book of the series so far because there was less drama and characters were just too sweet and hot to ignore. The characters are well thought out and with them together it’s intense and I love that. I was wondering who would catch Rogue’s eye and Zoe was the perfect choice. They compliment one another so well and give each other what was missing in their lives all along. Even with it being an MC story it’s still sweet and the romance is evident. Great writing and the story is a wonderful addition to the series.
Going Rogue is book 3 in the Cursed Ravens MC series but you can read it as a stand alone. The couples from the previous two books appear, but you don't HAVE to know their stories to enjoy Rogue and Zoe.
Zoe works as a caregiver for the elderly and its through her job she meets Rogue, the son of her favorite patient, Mrs. K. Rogue and Zoe strike up an odd friendship of sorts which develops into a relationship. Things aren't easy though-Rogue is part of an MC club that isn't exactly 100% on the up and up and Zoe has been burned by a biker in the past. Also, Rogue was a man whore. However, these two tackle most of their struggles head on and I appreciated the maturity of that.
There is one plot point involving the MC Club and some trouble they find themselves in. While the immediate issue is 'resolved' the author kind of glossed over why it all happened. Maybe she is planning more books in the future that will address this event. But, for me, it felt like it was just there to add more pages to the book and it wasn't really explained well.
The major climax of the book is heartbreaking. I felt for Zoe and Rogue both. I could sympathize with both their view points and wouldn't want to be in either of their shoes. It was sad!
Overall, Going Rogue was satisfying addition to the series! I enjoyed both Zoe and Rogue; getting more of this crazy MC club was great as well. I hope that at some point Fernando writes a book for Vanessa-even if its not part of this series, it would be hilarious to get her story! She is a hoot!

2.5-3 Stars
There were a lot of iffy things for me in this book. I just think a lot of things got to me because of knuckles book. I was already on the fence when I started this book.
I can’t help but feel like some of things that happened in this book should’ve happened in book 1. And what I mean by that is the club business. To give us an idea. Because there was really nothing of that in book 1 & 2. And it feels kinda out of place in this book. Like it’s just popping up out of the blue. I hated that. Book 1 & 2 were all about getting with the women and and just dealing with the drama. No MC stuff.
And here’s another thing. The entwined story lines. Different series coming into this one. I HATED it. Because I had to go back into the Wind Dragons series to find out 1. If I missed any mention of The Cursed Ravens and 2. What book this story line falls in with that book. After some searching I finally found the book this story line falls in.... The Last Ride (I THINK!!).
I downloaded all 6 books in the Wind Dragon series and not one had a certain person that was named in this book. So I have absolutely no clue when in this time line takes place!
There was never any mention of The Cursed Ravens at all. Then we have Jaxon from The Conflict Of Interest series making an appearance. The Cursed Ravens were never mentioned at all in both WD series or The Conflict Series.
The last Ride is the only one that that kinda has whats going on in this book.
Talon needed help finding out who the rat was in his old club. So he asked The Wind Dragons for help. I’m still not 100% sure if this falls in another book. I just got tired of looking. I just hate how all these series keep crossing over. It really puts me off!
Moving on....
The first time Zoe spends the night with Rogue. I wasn’t feeling it. I mean she basically just show up! And stays. Yeah no! I would’ve waited back at home. Not stay.
This pains me with all my heart. But I think I need to take a step back and take a break from this series and all the others. I’m just not feeling how all the characters from different series keep popping in on each other. All the time lines are not adding up. And it’s just getting to me.
This book was ok. But I think the best one was the first one Ace of Hearts.
You all (amazing authors) need to stop setting the romance bar so freaking high. These men are going to be super hard to live up to for any future guy in my life. No joke. I knew Rogue from the first Cursed Ravens book, and even then he came across as a really impressive man who would make an excellent "hero" someday. Chantal Fernando exceeded my expectations with Rogue and then gave me a fantastic heroine to pair with him. Given how much I have been looking forward to Rogue's book, I was going to be very critical with whoever Chantal chose to pair with Rogue, but clearly there was nothing to worry about.
Working in a nursing home has its ups and downs, but Zoe Kane can't help getting attached to each of the patients, even though none of them have a very happy ending. When one of her favorite patients' son, Rogue Kennedy, comes to visit, riding a motorcycle and blatantly parking in the staff-only lot, she begins to question what she did to deserve this. But when he turns on the charm and begins to court her as a friend first, her willpower begins to dissolve. Soon she's riding on the back of his bike and meeting his Cursed Ravens family, not to mention cleaning him up after a run-in with the police. Falling in love with the vice president of a motorcycle club wasn't what she had planned, but Zoe knows that once she's fallen, there is no going back.
So now the question is, who do I gush about first? Both Zoe and Rogue were amazing characters with a lot of depth to them, and as a couple they were off the charts. Zoe was a generous person with a kind heart, and although she had a bad experience with a biker in the past, she couldn't help falling for Rogue. He made it really hard for her! A few things he did or showed that made me smile - (1) put out a cigarette when Zoe said it gave her a migraine, (2) his hyperfocus on Zoe's happiness and proving to her that he cares about her, and (3) his willingness to publicly admit when he had messed up. On their own, these three things might seem small, but together they created the perfect boyfriend package in my mind. They show that Rogue cares about someone other than himself and doesn't mind letting it show to his friends. Zoe was a really strong partner for him and exactly what he needed. While he could have gone with any of the many girls who hung around the club, he instead went for the girl he had to work hard to get. She held her own not just with him but also with his MC family, and that couldn't have been easy for her! Thankfully she had good training from hanging out with her sister all these years. I can't wait to see her in a future book!
Once again Chantal Fernando has written a fantastic book that made my heart pitter-patter! I am eager to read what's next in the series.
Going Rogue is the 3rd book in the Cursed Ravens MC.
I've been dying to read Rogue's book since the beginning, and Chantal didn't disappoint.
Rogue is the Cursed Ravens sexy VP.
His sick mother was put in an aged care facility were Zoe works. Zoe and Mrs K (Rogue's mum) have formed somewhat of a friendship.
Zoe and Rogue's first encounter was quite funny. Things from there get interesting between the two, they are made for eachother. Their connection is beautiful. Zoe's only concern is can she stand by Rogue and his MC when all hell breaks loose.
Fantastic read
Title: Going Rogue (The Cursed Ravens MC Series Book 3)
Author: Chantal Fernando
Genre: Contemporary MC Romance
Rating: 4/5
Arc provided in return for an honest review.
He may be the MC’s Vice President and resident pretty boy but there’s more to Rogue than just a pretty face. He’s a man consumed with guilt over the fact that his ageing mother is in a nursing home due to dementia and a few other health issues, he loves her fiercely but cannot take care of her on his own, he also loves his fellow MC brothers as well and is ferociously loyal to them, he’s the type that when he gives it he gives it his all. When visiting his mother at the nursing home where she’s a patient he meets Zoe who just so happens to be one of his mothers caregivers, there’s an instant connection between the pair which excites yet somewhat scares them both especially Zoe who’s not had the greatest of experiences when it comes to relationships however over a period of time Rogue breaks through her walls and finally makes her his.
It’s safe to say things don’t go quite so plain sailing for Rogue and Zoe they both have their grievances but more than that they have love, a love that’s worth fighting for which is exactly what they do.
I have read the previous books in this series and I absolutely loved them Rogue being no different however I felt like we didn’t quite get to hear his point of view as much as we did the other leading men in their books, in-fact we only heard his at the very end of the book, I would like to have heard more but it doesn’t take away from the fact that this was yet again another fabulous read from Ms Fernando, she certainly knows how’s to draw you in and keep you captivated, and she’s very good at writing those naughty scenes if you know what I mean 😉
I honestly cannot wait to see what’s in-store next from this incredibly talented author.
