What can I say. Ms. Bennett has written another great hockey romance. The league has created a new hockey franchise in Arizona. They went through each team in the league and took a player or two to become the Arizona Vengeance team. Bishop Scott who used to play for the New York team was one of the players. On the first night there he goes out with his best friend Dax who is another team player. He ends up picking up a girl named Brooke And they end up going to her place for a great time. The next day he goes to the arena for the first team meeting and when he walks by an office, there sits Brooke. He immediately goes in her office and asks what she is doing there. He is secretly glad she is there as he was wishing he got her number. She tells him she works there. He closes the door and starts kissing her, and is ready to do more when a man walks in her office. The man is her father, but is also Coach Perron the head of Bishop’s team. He is. It happy. Brooke immediately improvises and tells her father they are engaged. Bishop is shocked and so is her father. Brooke has only been in town a couple of days, and she tells her father they started dating in New York. Brooke had her reasons for saying what she did!
Bishop ends up going along with Brooke and the engagement. This really works out as it gives them time to get to know each other. There are other things going on besides the engagement, such as Brooke trying to get a merchandising job within the organization and an ex employee she worked with in New York coming to Phoenix and inviting herself to stay at Brooke’s house free of charge. That little twit makes a lot of trouble! I enjoyed watching Bishop and Brooke fall in love. I loved the new owner of the franchise. He sure didn’t scrimp on the arena or anything for the players. This is a great book I strongly encourage you to read. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

Every time I see a hockey story by this author, I know it is going to be good. And it will be more than just a jock chasing women. In fact, she usually makes sure the woman in the story is no shrinking violet and such is the case with this new series and story.
A new start with a new team means that Bishop Scott can start over with no baggage to drag him down. He’s excited and heads out on the town for a little fun. Finding a girl is never a problem and this night is no different.
Fast forward to the morning at the new ice arena where he finds out that the woman he spent the night with is none other than his coach’s daughter. And things just get worse!
Brooke Perron agreed to work for her dad’s team after her mom died. She thinks that maybe it will help him out of the funk that he is in. It’s not permanent for her but she also wants to enjoy herself while she is there. No strings for any guy.
These two weave a tale of secret romance that is funny and cute! Loved every minute of this story and I look forward to each new episode in the series!

Oh, I was excited to get a new Hockey series from Sawyer Bennett. I loved Cold Fury and I knew this was going to be one click purchase, no matter what. Bishop did not disappoint. I loved everything about Bishop and Brooke's story. It started off with a bang with Brooke introducing Bishop as her fiance and it went from there. Seeing these two together and watching their relationship develop from something fake to something real and amazing was so much fun to read. Of course, there is a little drama along the way, but that's what made the book so entertaining. Everything about Brooke and Bishop's story was perfect for them. I can't wait to get more out of this series, I'm hoping we get Tacker's book, because I think there is an amazing story there.

The book really starts out with a bang (pun intended). Both Bishop and Brooke are new to town and their super-hot, one-night stand turns into an "official" introduction at work the following day. The chemistry between them is immediate and palpable and remains hot throughout the book.
The fake relationship/fake fiancée trope is great if it's done right but can be painful if it isn't. For me, there has to be a natural, and believable, progression of the feelings of the hero and heroine and sometimes I feel that it gets rushed in pursuit of a HEA. Not so in this case – I totally bought into the way that Bishop and Brooke went from a hook-up to HEA.
Bishop wasn't the typical man-whore professional athlete that you often encounter in sports romance. While there is something appealing about a reformed player, it's nice to have a hero who isn't constantly having to "move past" his whoreish former ways. Bishop is hot, sweet and swoony – the ultimate book boyfriend.
Brooke is a professional woman who willingly put her personal life and career on hold to support her father. I liked that she wasn't some neophyte, right out of college, still trying to find her way. She pretty much had her act together and was willing to take a chance on a one-night stand with a hot stranger.
Overall, the book is light on the angst, but there's still some drama to work through courtesy of a secondary character – just enough to keep it interesting, but not be "over the top". I can't wait to read about the rest of the Arizona Vengeance. Bennett did a good job in setting up the next book with Erik and Blue's brief interactions in this book – I love a good enemies to lovers story!
*I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.*

I'm such a sucker when it comes to sports romances. You can count on Sawyer to do them right. I really, really enjoyed this one. Bishop is book one in her new series Arizona Vengeance. She did an incredible job at introducing us to all the guys on the team. I've got two favorites already that I can't wait on their stories. This one is about Bishop and Brooke. I love both of them. They enter into a fake relationship, right? Who doesn't enjoy that trope? Hockey, Fake Fiance, and Sawyer Bennett it's a great combination. This story has friendship, heart, and it's freaking H.O.T!!

After a night of hot sex, Bishop is surprised to find Brooke, his partner in said hot sex, working in the office of the hockey team that he plays for. He immediately puts the moves on Brooke and has her in a passionate clinch when he discovers something important about Brooke when her father, aka, his new coach, walks in the door. In a panic, Brooke blurts out that they are engaged and have been dating. Bishop reluctantly goes along to keep peace on the team.
I love the fake engagement trope and this time it's especially fun as the person they are trying to fool is her gruff father and the friends who support the ruse are Bishop's fellow hockey players. As the relationship progresses the hot chemistry deepens into real feelings and the fake engagement might become real. Along the way, B & B have to deal with a psycho friend of Brooke's who tries her best to screw everything up and with the media which is way too interested in their relationship. I also enjoyed the little hints of characters from future books as relates the Vengeance.

This is the first book in the Sawyer Bennett new series Arizona Vengeance.
The first book in the series is Bishop Scott and Brooke Perron’s story told in dual POV.
Bishop and another teammate Dax are in a bar the night before they are to report for their first day at their new team, a new expansion team that they were both traded to. They are both just having a few beers hoping for a one night stand. Bishop heads up to the bar when he spots someone that he’d like to get to know. He meets Brooke they talked for a while and then she says you want to get out of here?? Heck yeah he did.
The morning after the one night stand Bishop arrives at the new stadium as he is walking thru the halls he sees Brooke in one of the offices. Being as he had been kicking himself for not getting her number he is overjoyed to see her. He enters her office walking right behind her desk starts making out. Before they can talk to see why they are both there someone walks in on them Bishop’s new head coach and Brooke’s father one in the same. Of course he wants to know why his new player has his arms around his daughter, Brooke panics and spits out that they are engaged!!! Oh yeah this is the start of some interesting maneuvers!! Their plan is to fake it for a few weeks and then break up in a way that leaves Bishop in a good light to her Dad.
Brooke just lost her Mother 7 months ago. She decides to give up a job and boss in New York that she loved to be with her Dad as he has taken it very hard losing his wife. She doesn’t know if she will stay in Arizona or go back to New York once her Dad is settled.
I absolutely loved the relationship Bishop has with his Mom it was honest, with such deep love, with so much respect.
Everything seems to be going smoothly even a little too smooth as the fake relationship seems to be changing to maybe something more. Until a visitor arrives from New York a former co-worker of Brooke’s not someone that she was particularly close with. Nanette is something else she invites herself to stay with Brooke which opens a whole can of worms. To say the least she is neither a good house guest nor person. I will not spoil anything about how this all plays out and the trouble that Nanette causes I will let you discover it yourself.
Arizona Vengeance brings a brand new team with a new cast of characters and stories! I am so looking forward to Erik the next installment in the series.

4+ stars
So this is a new hockey series located in Arizona (my current home state), so it was quite the treat to have a setting that I recognized.
The Arizona Vengeance is an expansion team in their first season. And oh how we are going to enjoy getting to know these players. This will definitely help curb any Cold Fury fix you might have.
Bishop has a HOT one-night stand with Brooke, but doesn't exchange information with her the next morning. Imagine his surprise when he sees her at the hockey arena offices and is ready to rekindle the flames. In walks Brooke's father...who also happens to be Bishop's new coach. Brooke tries to save face by telling a lie that they both have to perpetuate.
That part of the story was a little miss for me as I didn't feel that Brooke had to go as far as she did to explain their relationship. But again - her desire to protect Bishop was very commendable.
He has his swoony moments and his arrogant moments, but overall Bishop is a great new character to know and love.
Of course, their fake relationship begins to feel very real..."In this moment...right now...not sorry at all for how this has all gone down." I love this couple! You'll enjoy some of the side characters (esp. Bishop's mom and his teammates are going to be interesting to learn more about) and you will likely NOT like others who are there to stir up trouble.
Brooke and Bishop's relationship hits some ups/downs and speed bumps along the way, but their romance is sweet and sassy.
I voluntarily requested and reviewed an advance reader copy.

Sawyer Bennett announces a new series? I sit up and take notice.
When she announces it’s about hockey players? I make grabby hands at it.
And it was all kinds of goodness. It was sweet, very, VERY smexy, funny with a good dose of heart, a dash of batshit crazy and a cast of secondary characters that have definitely peaked my interest and we have a book I thoroughly enjoyed and a great start to a new series!
Bishop is a really good man. He’s charming, charismatic and has just enough alpha AF goodness going on to melt your panties. I really liked Bishop he has a good heart and outside of the situation he finds himself in, is honest and upfront with how he feels.
Brooke was a sweetheart. She is compassionate with a golden heart, which at times gets her into difficult situations, but only because she is looking out for others. She is also something of an enigma in that there are times when she’s all kinds of confident and then can turn shy and unsure in a blink of an eye.
Brooke and Bishop’s journey definitely started out with a bang in more ways than one and at the onset, I wasn’t too sure how things would go, but in the end I really liked how everything played out for them. The angst was low and watching as they went from being in a ‘fake’ relationship to more was a lot of fun. Their bantering was fun and the smexy was HAWT. But what I really liked was that, despite the situation, they acted like the adults they were and stayed the course for the most part. The bump in the road wasn’t a big one, which I was happy about, but it did finally push both of them to admit that what was going on between them wasn’t fake anymore.
I have to say, for a first in a series, I really enjoyed it. I loved the set up and the background given on what was going on with the new team. There is a bit of crazy drama going on and while it was done well, because that stuff does happen. As for the supporting cast of characters, Tacker and Dominik are the two I’m most curious about, but I loved Dax and cannot wait for Erik’s book to drop because it promises to be a good one!
Note: This is set in the same world as Cold Fury, but you don’t need to read that series before diving into this one.

I am a huge fan of Ms. Bennett, especially the Cold Fury series, so I was super excited for this new Vengeance hockey series. It was so damn good!
We meet Bishop, one of the assistant captains of the new team. A one-night stand turned into so much more...Brooke is the coach's daughter who just moved to the area to help take care of her dad. Men were not on her radar.
"No matter what led us to this moment, right now, I'm yours, and no one should touch what is yours."
The chemistry between Bishop & Brooke was insane! It was off the charts hot! I loved the family dynamic with Brooke & her dad as well as Bishop & his mom. I adored meeting all of the other guys of the Vengeance team and cannot wait for their stories, particularly Tacker! Ms. Bennett, you have another amazing hit on your hands and I cannot wait for more hockey hotties! (5 stars)

Great new series! This is a spin off from the Carolina Cold Fury books and just as good! Bishop and Brooke were great. I loved their relationship, how they just clicked right from the start. Their chemistry was on fire! The secondary characters really helped take this story to a new level. I absolutely loved Bishop’s Mom and their relationship with each other. I also can’t wait to learn even more about Bishop’s teammates. I am very intrigued with the glimpses we saw of Erik and Tacker just to name a few. As always, Ms. Bennett’s writing is fantastic and I can’t wait to read what comes next. I highly recommend this book!

I wish there was a 20 you could give to a book because this new series .. Avalanche Vengeance Hockey Team .. is so Hot and Sexy .. the pages sizzle !!
When Bishop Scott walked into that bar he only had One Night Stand thoughts on his mind .. and when he found the ONE .. he was hooked .. Brooke was new to town and was just looking for a quite night after her friend cancelled at the last moment. When Bishop sees her across the bar he feels it .. the gravitational pull towards Brooke it is there.. they both feel it. That something is there !! The is be the best one night stand ever !!
When Bishop goes to his first meeting of the new expansion draft Vengeance he NEVER EVER expected to see Brooke Perrone in the same building he works in and does a double take when he sees her .. BUT that pull is there .. the door isn’t locked and his future flashes before his eyes when the new Coach walking in on Bishop and his daughter .. YES .. Coach Perrone daughter is BROOKE !!
Quick thinking Brooke pulls off the trick of all Hat Tricks and tries so save both of there hides with one word .. LOVE !! Can they turn this thing of a one night stand into a longing lasting relationships or will both of there dreams be a fast slap shot to hell ..
I can’t say this enough .. LOVED this book and can’t wait for more of the hockey guys !! This new team seems to have it ALL !!

First book in the new hockey series Arizona Vengeance. Bishop was traded to the new expansion team and when he meets Brooke sparks fly. Little does he know she’s the new coach’s daughter and a small white lie turns into a big secret. I really liked how these two just liked each other and they didn’t fight their attraction to one another. The two of them were pretty hot together and they both were in agreement with what they wanted. Great story and flowed at a good speed. I really liked the secondary characters that you meet that I am assuming will get their own book eventually. But I really wanna know more about Tacker Hall! He is a broken man and I need to see his story! Good book that I gladly recommend.

As a fan of the cold fury series, I was happy to see a new hockey team series beginning. Bishop is the first book in the Arizona Vengeance series, and it was a great start. ! This is Bishop and Brooke’s story and and I love a good fake fiance story. What started out as a one stand and then to find she works for The Arizona Vengeance Team, he is thrilled, except in walks her father as they are in a very sexy kiss. Only it's even crazier, because it's the Head Coach.. Yikes! When is is obvious the coach is very upset...Brook yells out Its OK, we are engaged. So begins their journey to real love. Trying to fool everyone it's a real engagement is kinda funny! There was very little angst in this book. It was kinda of a quick ending, but more books are coming so I'm ready to see the rest of the guys find their true loves.

“Tell me what you want.” “I want you,” she says simply. “All of you. All the time.”
We know exactly what we’re in for when we pick up a Sawyer Bennett hockey romance. An abundance of heat, alpha blokes, romance and an exhilarating sports experience as she takes us behind the scenes, into the dressing room, and on the ice with these hockey hunks as they put their bodies and their hearts on the line.
If you loved the Carolina Fury Series, you’ll enjoy the new Arizona Vengeance spin-off series, because all the elements readers enjoyed in that series are repeated in Bishop, the first book in this new series. A sexy sports romance told in dual pov.
Bishop Scott is as talented on the ice as he is off it. Being traded to start up franchise team The Arizona Vengeance, Bishop leaves New York and a string of one night stands to begin a new career in Phoenix.
A one night stand with a stranger turns out to be none other than his new Coaches daughter, Brooke Perron who has left a successful fashion job in New York, a life she loved, to be with her Dad in Phoenix. Brooke’s Dad has struggled to with grief following the passing of his wife, Brookes mother, 7 months earlier, and Brooke feels the need to be close to him to help him through his grief.
After being caught in a compromising position in Brookes office by the Coach, Brooke blurts out that she and Bishop are engaged and met in New York – much to the bewilderment of her father, who had never heard his daughter so much as mention Bishop. Brookes brain snap excuse was her ‘fix’ as she knows if her dad knew the truth of their one night stand, things could get very difficult for Bishop and she wanted to spare him being singled out for treatment by the coach, however, now they have to keep up the ruse relationship until they can ‘call things’ off and take any heat off Bishop.
Together Brooke and Bishop enjoy the physical side of their fake relationship and they certainly burn up the pages, however, as these things go, Bishop and Brooke begin to develop real feelings for one another.
‘She’s the only woman I’ve ever been with that makes me excited to see what tomorrow will bring.’
We felt the searing chemistry between Brooke and Bishop, we reveled in the hockey experience and loved Bishop’s relationship with his Mum. It was so heart-warming and brought a new dimension to Bishop we weren’t initially privy to. We did feel the Nanette storyline detracted from Brooke and Bishop somewhat and thought it was a little unnecessary as Brooke and Bishop more than held the story together. The other issue we had was the lack of an epilogue. We really would have loved a little peek into their future and felt it would have finished their story off beautifully.
Bishop was an entertaining and very, very steamy read and a great start to the Arizona Vengeance series. We loved meeting new characters and catching up with old friends, and can’t wait for more. One character, in particular, HAS to get a book! Tacker tore our hearts out and his story is one we’re desperate to hear!

Great start to a new series!
Sawyer Bennett sets the scene for an all new hockey romance series set in Phoenix, Arizona with a new cast of players.
Bishop Scott is out on the town with a friend when he sees a gorgeous woman at the bar even though he starts training camp for his new team the next day. After spending the night together he is surprised to find out that Brooke Perron works for the team and is the daughter of the new head coach. When her father interrupts them in her office Brooke tells him that they have been dating in New York. Bishop and Brooke don’t want to piss off her father but sometimes fathers do know best.
I’m looking forward to reading the following books in the series after seeing to little tidbits that the author has slipped into Bishop about other players.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Sawyer Bennett has done it again, with a brand new series, based on hockey which she has done before. This time, the team is in Phoenix, and the hockey players come across very real. Bishop and Brooke make a wonderful couple, and I loved the subterfuge they had to go through. There really would not have been any conflict if Nannette hadn’t been included, but knowing Ms. Bennett’s writing, it was nothing less than i would expect. Interesting plot, good romance. What more do you want, especially if you are into sports romances.

Bishop is the first book in the new Arizona Vengeance series. It is a hot hockey romance with some hot hockey hunks... BUT so much more than that!!
A meet-cute, a one night stand, and a rash decision lead to a fake engagement. Bishop and Brooke’s relationship starts out as a sham, but despite a rocky foundation built on lies, it very soon becomes something much more.
“...she’s the only woman I’ve ever been with that makes me excited to see what tomorrow will bring.”
A really fun start pulled me right into this book and I just didn’t want to put it down at all. I loved this story and definitely swooned for Bishop, my new hockey BBF!!

This was a great start to a new series by one of my favorite authors. Sawyer is giving us more drool worthy men with the Arizona Vengeance Hockey Team and let me tell you Bishop is only the start of it all. We get introduced to the new team as each of the players adjust to begin playing for this new expansion hockey team. What I love most about the first book in the series is that you get a peek at all the players and let me tell you there are some that have already caught my eye and I cannot wait to read their stories and see how each of them get their HEAs especially Tacker.
Bishop and Brooke meet in a bar and have an amazing night together, but that's all it was supposed to be one night. Well, we all know things don't always go as planned so it really was no surprise when Bishop shows up at the arena the next day and runs in Brooke but the big surprise was just who she was...the coaches daughter, can we say awkward? And to make things a bit more awkward the coach walks in on the two of the pawing at one another...HI DAD ;) LOL yes this is where things start to get complicated for poor Bishop but I give the man props because he follows Brookes lead and lets her run with it.
And now were engaged..yes you read that right we are now fully in the fake girlfriend/fiancee trope and I loved it. Bishop and Brooke were amazing together. They had great chemistry and really knew how to heat up not only the sheets but various other areas as well. This book has a bit of mystery or angst or hell just one crazy girlfriend that comes for a unscheduled visit and really shakes things up. I really wish the ending was different, maybe an epilogue to wind things up a little better or even set up Erik's book which is up next but honestly that was the only...I don't want to say disappointment because that's to strong of a word for what I'm thinking, maybe let down is better, but regardless this was a very enjoyable read.
If you haven't read anything by Sawyer Bennett before I recommend starting right here, what better place then at the beginning of a new series that holds a lot of promise. If you like sports romance, the fake fiancee trope, or even just a good contemporary romance that has a lot of sexy times this is the book for you! Happy Reading!!!

Sawyer Bennett has kicked off yet another series in phenomenal style. Like her COLD FURY SERIES, ARIZONA VENGEANCE once again focuses on the players in an ice hockey team. However, these players are definitely hotter and dirtier!!!
BISHOP kicks of the series with a story about Bishop Scott and Brooke Perron, two people who hook up for a simple one night stand. However, as we all know, in Saywer's books nothing is ever simple. Unknown to each other, both Bishop and Brooke work for Arizona Vengeance - he as a player and she as a member of the the administrative team. When they see each other again after their night together they both realise that once will never be enough. However, they are interrupted by Brooke's father, who just happens to be the new coach of the team, and things take an unexpected turn.
From this point on things start to get a little bit complicated and Bishop and Brooke must both put on an act that will have very interesting consequences. However it doesn't take too long for emotions to become involved and the couple must make some very interesting decisions. I loved bishop, he's definitely a strong alpha man who knows what he wants and does everything to attain it. He's extremely sexy and very very dirty. Brooke was just so sweet, she often put others before herself, she carried a heavy load on her shoulders, but she too was extremely sexy when she wanted to be.
Once again another Sawyer Bennett story that I could not put down. There were moments when I couldn't stop laughing and times when I just wanted to throw my kindle against the nearest wall. This is definitely a recommended read. I can't wait to see where Sawyer takes Erik's story.
