We must know Jesus before we can imitate Him.”
This book has such a powerful message as the author challenges his readers to ask themselves “what would Jesus do” as they go about their daily lives. It reminds us that this world is not our home so we shouldn’t strive to fit in here, we should set our sights on a higher standard. The result of the congregation in the story was a citywide revival and each person found their lives changed in amazing ways. Truly, as followers of Christ we should strive to ask ourselves the same question.
This is a book I have read a few times over the past couple of decades. It is a book worth reading and re-reading periodically for those who wish to challenge their lives and raise their mindset about how we should function in society.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book but the opinions expressed are my own.
In HIS Steps Is a story based on the premises of WWJD. And the beginning of the book you have someone going around town asking for a job but people wouldn't help him because he looked like a tramp. What happened next? You would not believe what happens. How does GOD fit into the picture? He fits in everywhere. I Received a copy of this book from the Publisher and Netgalley; all of the opinions expressed in this review are all my home.
