This book has such a powerful message as the author challenges his readers to ask themselves “what would Jesus do” as they go about their daily lives. It reminds us that this world is not our home so we shouldn’t strive to fit in here, we should set our sights on a higher standard. The result of the congregation in the story was a citywide revival and each person found their lives changed in amazing ways. Truly, as followers of Christ we should strive to ask ourselves the same question.

This is a book I have read a few times over the past couple of decades. It is a book worth reading and re-reading periodically for those who wish to challenge their lives and raise their mindset about how we should function in society.

What happened next? You would not believe what happens. How does GOD fit into the picture? He fits in everywhere. Language has been updated to remove old references that today's reader would not understand. Helpful to those who want to read these classics nowadays. Excellent classic fiction of the Christian faith.
