I received this book for free through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Thorne's uncle dies and the country is in need of a ruler from the royal bloodline. There are issues between the Queen's family and the Thorne's family. The best way to ease the rift is to have one of the deceased king's nephews rule and then marry one of the daughter's that are the queen's nieces. Thorne is the only one not attached out of his brothers, so is chosen for this task. He and Nova (one of the nieces) hit it off and have an arranged marriage. While they already like each other, their relationship does improve throughout the book and it turns to a love match. I enjoyed the book. It definitely wasn't the best I have read, but I would definitely read more by this author.
Thorne! Another great installment to this series. I always knew Thorne was special and Royally Arranged spotlights that. And Nova...I can’t imagine someone more perfect for him. I did feel like her feeling were glossed over when it came to her family. I don’t know...I just feel like the potential was there to delve deeper into some aspects, but then it was great when it came to other, i.e. Thorne and Maverick. Overall, it was another great read.
How did I not know this was part of a series? I’m so annoyed I missed the first few books
I’ll now need to go buy them and read them in order even though I’ve read this one first. Grrrr it annoys me when tha5 happens. Looks like I’ll be enjoying this series all week. I’ve never read a book by Nora Flite before and I truly loved this book. I can’t wait to get stuck into the entire series. I’ll be on the lookout fir all books she writes in the future.
I gave read the previous books in the series and was excited for the next installment. I really enjoyed this story, although this was a read where I had to suspend my belief. I'm not sure that lines of succession and rules of the throne in a kingdom work the way in real life the way that they work in this novel. That being said, I liked the chemistry that Thorne and Nova had and how their story developed. It was nice to see characters from the previous novels and getting to see where their romances have led. This was a nice summer read and one I'd recommend.
This book started out slow for me but after the first few chapters it quickly picked up and I couldn't put it down. This book is about Thorne who is set up by his family to marry one of the daughters of their enemies. He not only has to get married but he is to become the king. Thorne meets Nova and quickly falls for her and chooses her to be his bride. Now he needs to figure out if she is playing him and working for her family or if she is in it for him. This book has the perfect amount of steam mixed with the perfect amount of suspense keeping you wondering what will happen next. Overall good book.
This is the third book in the Bad Boy Royals series. I definitely felt like I was missing parts of the story when various characters were mentioned so if this book sounds interesting I would suggest reading the books in order. The hero's family is royal but also has mafia ties -- I was confused about the mafia stuff but suspect it was dealt with in the previous books.
It was an enjoyable enough read. The sex was steamy and the storyline was farfetched so perfect for summer vacation reading.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC.
My apologies. I got 20% through this book and I found it unreadable. It did not capture my attention at all.
This book was by far my favorite from the series so far! Thorne and Nova were perfect for each other! I loved how they both saw each other in a deeper way than what everyone else sees them as. Their bond and easiness right off the bat was so fun to see grow deeper as the book went. Adding in their two families at war for the throne was additional enjoyment. But man, are the Valentines horrible people! Ugh. Seriously made me want to strangle them. I was not expecting such a vicious family who would not care one iota for their own blood (Nova). I cannot wait to read more from this series and hope to maybe see a romance between Francesca and a royal guard? That would be fun.
Nora does it again. This is an action packed book with a few twists and unexpected plot changes.
I love the way thing progress. Thorne and Nova make an interesting pair, but have many obstacles. It's how they overcome them is what makes it great.
You don't have to read the first two books, but it does help with the baseline story.
This is another enjoyable addition to the Badd family series. I really liked both main characters, Thorne and Nova, a lot. I will say that I grew impatient with Nova's willingness to be treated like a doormat by her family, though, despite her reasons. I got to the point where I skimmed her interactions with her family because they made me cringe. I devoured her interactions with Thorne, however. Overall, the book is well written, and the story itself is intriguing. I do recommend that this be read as part of a series, rather than a standalone; I think anyone reading it as a standalone will be confused a big chunk of the time. The series as a whole is well worth it; I think I've enjoyed each book more than the one before it. I look forward to reading the series again once it's complete. In the meantime, I'm anxiously awaiting the next one!
Thank you to NetGalley and Montlake Romance for providing an ARC for review.
Loved this book! Kept me on my toes. Love the story line. Can't wait to read more from this author. Would recommend to everyone!
Royally Arranged is the first book I've read from this author and it was a good read. It was slower than I expected but I enjoyed Nora and Thorne. Thorne was such a funny character and I laughed more than a few times at his quick wit and jokes. He was definitely the entertainment in this story. I thought the ending was a bit rushed and even though there were two epilogues, it was still missing that something to me made this story feel complete. I really would have liked to have had a part with Thorne, Nora and their bundle of joy. Would I recommend this book? Yes, because even though it was a slow read it was a funny read and reading this story was a good way to pass the time.
This book wasn't my most favorite read, and the writing style was not what I prefer. Ater a slow start and some perseverance on my part, it improved. The love scenes were hot and sexy, and just a little raunchy but so good! Once the book got past the first few awkward chapters I enjoyed it much more and overall I'd say it's a decent summer read.
I requested the book because I have read Nora Flite before and really liked it. However, I was not really enamored by this book. The Badd family is more of a Mafia family than royalty. I thought the story was very far fetched. I did like the interactions between the H/h but the plotline....
Hawthorne “Thorne” Badd has lived his life as a reckless playboy—not as a presumptive king. But after the death of his uncle, it can all be his: the power, the crown, and the wealth. All he has to do is govern a country he’s never set foot in…and marry the gorgeous daughter of his family’s greatest rival.Nova Valentine is as smart as she is beautiful—and when she first met Thorne Badd, she fell hard. She’s never seen someone so comfortable in his own skin, and she’d like nothing more than to see all of it. When I started reading I couldn't put it down.Nora Flite is magnifysent writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book.
Cute read, story was a bit discombobulated but the more you read the easier it became to follow, I didn’t love the hero & heroine in the beginning but they also grew on me as the story continued.
The description of this book is what appealed to me. (Although, the cover didn't hurt anything!) This is my first book by this author, but it is not the first book in the series. I do feel it can be read as a standalone.
This is the story of Thorne and Nova. There families have been enemies forever and now Thorne is being forced to marry either Nova or her sister since his uncle died and he has to be King of the country his father fled. He has o do this in order to keep the alliance together so Nova's family doesn't kill his family.
Obviously he chooses Nova who is sweet and strong - unlike her family members.
Luckily for these two, they have real chemistry. Nova has been 'in love' with Thorne ever since she first met him. Thorne doesn't remember that first interaction, but he definitely likes her now, 6 months later, when they meet after Nova helps someone who stole her purse.
I highly recommend this sweet love story. :)
LOVED this book! This is my favorite book in the series (and the first two were awesome). I loved learning more about Hawthorne and his difficult relationship with his father. Nova is also an interesting character as the Valentine that just doesn't seem to belong. Even better, was learning the story behind the hidden princes. I thoroughly enjoyed their story.
If you love sexy romance with a side of dirty, you will love this book. The author is a master story-teller and makes her characters come alive from the page. She is on my must read authors' list.
