I'm a big fan of many of the authors whose work appears in this collection - in particular Anne Applebaum (who I've mainly been reading in The Atlantic and her latest book, which is superb) and Richard North Patterson (who I discovered through his excellent fiction, but have grown to look forward to his non-fiction, too). Many of the writers featured are moderates, centrists, or Never Trump Republicans/conservatives. This, of course, does influence what's in the essays. However, even if you are all the way on the other spectrum of the political divide, there are plenty of valuable and thought-provoking essays in Fight For Liberty.

A well-organized and curated collection of essays, it looks at domestic and foreign threats to American democracy and... well, proper functioning. Recommended.
