One Perfect Kiss is a fast paced addicting romance.

One Perfect Kiss follows the story of Josie and Zach. The only thing Josie has ever wanted was a feeling of home and she thinks she may have found the perfect place in Hope, Oklahoma. She's finally living the life she's always dreamed. She's got the perfect job, great friends and even a potential love interest. But, if there's one thing that Josie has learned, it's that if it seems too good to be true, it almost always is....Zach is a former football player turned coach/teacher. He loves the game more than anything. So, when Josie benches some of his players due to poor grades, he'll stop at nothing to get them back on the team. Josie makes Zach crazy, but that doesn't stop him from trying to get closer....Will Josie take a chance on Zach and try to let him in?? There's only one way to find out...

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I found One Perfect Kiss to be a quick and enjoyable read. I loved the fast pace of the story and slow burn of the romance between Zach and Josie. Yes, Zach and Josie had instant chemistry, but I really loved how the author built up their relationship; had them get to know one another and really build that trust before jumping in. I really enjoyed getting to know these two and see just how their story was going to play out.

One Perfect Kiss was a great read from beginning to end. I honestly can't get over just how quickly I read this book. I mean I totally devoured it. Zach and Josie's story hit all the marks for me and was just the romance I was looking for. A totally great story to spend the day getting lost in. I can't wait to see what this author will have in store for us next.

This is a brand new author for me and is clearly a series. At times I was slightly lost so I think if you read it, you should read the series. That said I did not love the story. I really, did not like Josie at all. At all!!! Many times she wants Zach and she stops things from going further. For no real, reason. They both like each other but nothing freaking happens. It was very frustrating and I am not even poor Zach.

Zach I really liked, though he was kind weird too. He wants Josie but he sorta likes being alone too. These were very hard characters to like and I could nt finish this story. It just became this really hard story to read and since I did not like the main characters I just couldn't take it anymore.

I genuinely enjoyed this romance. It was such a satisfying read since author took the time to build a relationship between the two characters instead of creating this perfect couple that instantly falls in love. It was nice to get to know the characters as they got to know each other. Overall, a well-plotted novel that I would happily recommend to others.

I loved this story of two high school teachers, both new to the small town, finding each other. I appreciated the way Zach was portrayed, a former pro football player with a career-ending knee injury, who found fulfillment in teaching and coaching high school football. Josie was also a great character, on her own but dealing with a drug addict mother. She was strong in denying hand-outs to her mother but helped get her into rehab when she was ready. Zach and Josie's romance was a slow burn, taking time to build and going over obstacles, until Josie could see her way clear to believing in love.

Sweet romance between two teachers at the local high school. Josie and Zach have been friends for awhile but their relationship starts heating up. Zach is the football coach and history teacher and Josie teaches English. Zach's players have to keep up with their schoolwork or they can't play football. Enjoyable romance.

Full review to be published online in mid September.

ONE PERFECT KISS is the eighth book in Jaci Burton’s heartwarming “Hope” series. Burton proved herself as such a writer in my difficulties in connecting with Josie early on, while at the same time seeing Zach as patient and understanding of her idiosyncrasies. As the story unfolded, the author drew me as a reader into understanding those idiosyncrasies and then reveling her acceptance of being loved and loving in return. All in all a very satisfying story.

This was an easy story to loose time in. The friendships were heartwarming and their camaraderie endearing. My gauge for a good writer is his or her abilities to draw out strong feelings towards characters, negative or positive. Ms Burton proved herself as such a writer in my difficulties in connecting with Josie early on, while at the same time seeing Zach as patient and understanding of her idiosyncrasies. As the story unfolded, the author drew me as a reader into understanding those idiosyncrasies and then reveling her acceptance of being loved and loving in return. All in all a very satisfying story from beginning to end.
