I received a free advanced reading copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Told from the alternating perspectives of Nick and Megan both, this was a fun, light read that provided commentary on the relationship between two beloved modern pop-culture figures.

The premise of the book is great and the author really delivers. Great read. Highly recommended. .

I love both Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman. The relationship is adorable and their banter is something special. I was expecting something a little more in depth. I hear the audio book may have been the best way to read this.

The story of Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman's relationship is one to behold. They tell the tale with their wit and cynicism and bounce jokes off of each other seamlessly. I'd recommend pairing this with the audiobook, which would deliver a much better experience.

I ended up waiting for this book to be released, and then listened to the audio version. Which is what this review is based on, but I think my opinions are applicable either way. (Though I will say - I'd recommend the audio version over the print any day considering the author narrate this themselves.) This book is hilarious and deeply-felt and has a signature style that Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally seem to have been cultivating. It's not forced, or contrived - it feels like we're in their living room with them, and the conversational style of the novel really works. They are #couplegoals.

I LOVED this book. Megan and Nick are real and sometimes brutally honest, but their love story is beautiful. Normally funny people love to go on and on about how annoying their spouse is, but this was a lovely surprise at how in love these two are. Reading this was just like having a conversation with them.

This would have been a nice audiobook but reading it in the back and forth style was very annoying. The photos were great and some of the stories were interesting but overall I couldn't finish it.

This book was one of the most enjoyable and entertaining books I have read in long time. Both Megan and Nicks voices are so vivid and real. They are sweet and down to earth while still being something so foreign. It is an interesting look into the life of a normal couple who just happen to be incredibly talented and funny performers. Overall this book was a joy to read!

I was looking forward to reading this book and Megan Mullally And Nick Offerman did not disappoint. I enjoyed the differing perspectives and as usual, the stories were filled with humor. The one issue I had was the formatting of this digital ARC which made it a little difficult to read. Thank you, NetGalley for the ARC!

Entertaining and charming! Insightful and really gave a look at two of the most popular people that make up #couplegoals.

Pretty funny back-and-forth banter between two entertaining characters. I did not find myself riveted to the book but it was good to set down and come back to later. I hear there is an audiobook and would recommend that over the e-book version. A nice read, especially for a celebrity book. The cover is a stand-out.

Loved the photos! I enjoyed how it was completely conversational, so the reader gets a great idea of how these two love bird interact with each other. Megan has always been one of my favorite comedic actresses, now I love her even more...not as much as Nick does tho!

I love Nick Offerman and his work so much. I was fortunate enough to go see him on tour last December and I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard. This book is almost as magical as seeing him onstage. The banter between him and his wife is lewd, playful and all around hilarious. It was nice to see more of her than just that girl from Will and Grace or one of the Tammy’s from Parks and Rec. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a good laugh and a little bit of actual relationship advice.

Two of my favorite actors conversing in a book. What is not to love? Laugh out loud funny, sure to be a great audiobook to listen to as well.

The Greatest Love Story Ever Told is a hilarious, candid collection of essays from the couple that reads like you're hanging out with the pair. It is a very conversational novel and somehow it just works! Both Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman's personalities shine through both separately and together. It's hard not to see how these two ended up together. Their sense of humor is infectious. Sometimes their conversations would veer to other topics, but that only makes it feel more real. Highly recommended to fans of either actor or those interested in a good couple memoir.

I'll confess something: sometimes hanging out with couples annoys me. I can say this as I am, myself, half of a couple. But there's the bickering, the picking at each other, the weird sense that maybe they don't like each other. But the memoir by Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman is a major exception. With a tone that captures their deep love for each other - indeed, their great kindness and the great fun that seems to run between them - this book gives us a dive into these two brilliantly funny people who do seem to have the greatest love story ever told.

Thank you to NetGalley and Penguin Group Dutton for the read of The Greatest Love Story Ever Told by Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman.

These two very funny, super talented artists, are very much in love! As much as I anticipated this as an entertaining read, I found it a little difficult to get through. It was reading through a conversation rather than a story. It might have been fun to listen to as an audio.

It was fun, but I think you need to be a die-hard, as in a “fan who collects things”, to want to buy this book.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an e-arc copy, all opinions are my own.

I thought this would be a cute book, like a dual biography/behind the scenes look at the couple. Alas, this is just a transcript of an interview - or at least that's what it feels like. The couple is talking through various aspects of how they met with a few essays interspersed.

Possibly interesting as an audiobook, but certainly not worth the full freight of a hardcover. It;'s cute and funny, but it is not a book.

Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman are exactly what everyone says they are: talented, comedic, and the utter definition of couple goals. This book perfectly reflects their true personalities. Their deepest and most personal beliefs, truths, and experiences are written in such a way that they make it feel so familiar to the reader. The fact that most of the book was written in a dialogue transcript made the reader feel even more that they were being their true honest selves. The pictures in this book are HILARIOUS! Each piece of art before and after a chapter really added such a personal and hilarious touch that I looked forward to seeing what the next one would be.

I would frequently find myself laughing out loud as they spoke with blunt honesty on the topics of relationships, staying true to yourself, their art, sex advice, fashion, and pretty much anything they could think of.

One thing I did find myself disliking throughout the book is that, as much as I appreciated their flow and uncensored conversations, I would often find that the conversations ran on into other topics. Although this trait does make the book feel more natural and honest, as a written piece it got confusing at times. Where one conversation would begin with topic A, the reader would find the discussion move onto related topics B,C, and D, before coming back to topic A.

Overall, it was a great read. Funny, quirky, honest, inspiring, and beyond entertaining.
