Even Money is highly addictive! Dario & Bell's love affair is sexy and intense, with an ending that will have you dying for more. I seriously devoured this book in one sitting. It's definitely a must read!

This book is one of Alessandra’s masterpieces. I can’t even piece my words together to write this review so it’s probably just me waffling on.

Bell is so feisty and sassy; she’s exactly what I love in a heroine. I haven’t read many of Alessandra’s book since Black lies because I genuinely wasn’t sure if anything could top that book. This duet came very close, it was so thrilling.

The Vegas scene only adds to that thrill, the secrecy, the sexy times, the moments of will they or won’t they, all of that makes this book so interesting. Dario is married but actually that marriage isn’t as it seems and Bell makes him want to change the reality of his life from what it is, to something new and different.

Bell has guts, and she has her own mind and dammit I liked her. I really do think she’s one of the best heroines Alessandra has written!

Ooh man, this book right here had me hooked right from the start and didn't let go until the end (and that ending? Hot damn!)

I'm gonna say that I went into this blind, because I know I'm going to get a fantastic story anytime Ms. Torre's name is on it. I didn't even bother to read the synopsis, I just dove right in. I love that Dario isn't your typical hero, but that's the only way it would work for this book. I will say that there are some things that Dario does in regards to Bell that had me giving some serious side-eye, but again, I had to remember that Dario isn't the typical hero. The chemistry between Dario and Bell is electric and just when I thought I had everything figured out, that ending came and shocked me so much I had to walk away from my iPad for a while before I could gather my thoughts and write this review. I'm so ready to get the second book now!

Dario is a married casino owner. He meets Bell at the casino he plans on buying soon. The attraction between these two is instant and scorching. A series of twists and unexpected turns makes this book a page turner. A cliffhanger but the next book is already released.

I love Alessandra Torre and find her books really suspenseful and sexy. This book was a perfect fit for those reasons and I was on the edge of my seat for the entire book. I think the book could have used a little more character/love development, but I understand that this is just book 1, so there's time to continue to establish this. I like to take time to fall in love with my characters, and this felt a little rushed to get to that point. The concept of a casino owner is sexy to me, and the perfect setting for a book. I think Dario is sexy and I love their instant and uncontrollable passion toward one another, but I don't love the cheating. No matter if it is equal parts cheating, it still doesn't quite sit right. Overall, I still I can't wait to read the next book!

Omg! This book and that ending! I have been in need of a good book full of twists and turns I didn’t see coming and this was it. After reading the blurb for this book I knew I was going to have to read it. Our two main characters are complete opposites.
Dario is rich and can get any woman he wants. From the moment he met Bell he wanted her. He is the type of alpha male who steams into her life and turning it upside down. Get ready for a rollercoaster ride you will not want off of. You will be pleasantly surprised with this book from start to finish. I can’t wait to start book two.

I have read a few Alessandra Torre books and have mixed reactions to each of them. Some I have really enjoyed and others kind of were missing something for me. Even Money was hard for me to get into and I struggled with the insta love concept of the story line. I found the story line difficult at times and really struggled to finish the book.

I devoured this duet in literally 3 days! A cocktail waitress that catches the eye of a wealthy casino owner. Ensue the hunt! It was sexy and seductive. The hero reminded me a lot of Torre’s previous hero in her Innocence Series- Brad. He was sex in a suit and no woman could resist his seduction!

A must read!

Off the Las Vegas strip sits a high-roller casino, “The House.” Bell is a worthy employee of the casino and makes a good life for herself while attending college. She handles herself well and never finds any trouble. Trouble came walking in the door…trouble came in the form of Dario. Their brief biochemical explosion takes each other by surprise.

It had been sixty seconds of interaction. Less than a commercial break. As short as a hand of blackjack. Forgetting her should be easy.

Or so Dario thinks. Dario’s private life stays behind closed doors, but yet all inhabitants of Vegas know to respect him. Dario belongs to a dangerous family; a family whose secrets are hid and those who expose them will find themselves in explicit danger. It’s best to stay away from Dario, but he is so persistent in his acquisitions, and Bell finds it increasingly difficult to say no to him. Dario is instilling himself in her very small world, and their mutual attraction continues to flare.

Dario’s world is full of danger and complications. Truthfully, I didn’t want Bell with Dario – I didn’t like Dario from his first introduction and I kept wondering why Bell would fall for him. Bell actually has a more likable man she was seeing, but Bell doesn’t want to get caught up in a relationship so she keeps him to the side. I kept asking myself what does Dario have that this other man doesn’t have? A commandeering presence and strong charisma must be it. At the end of the book, we are left with a cliffhanger, and I did not see that coming.

I cried out of guilt.
I cried out of fear.
I cried because, with all of this, I didn’t see a future for us.

The writing is good and the character introductions are good, but I just felt something was lacking from Ms. Torres’ writing. I am familiar with her writing and how emotional it can become; however, this book didn’t seem to pull me in.

What a ride! That pull between Bell and Dario just becomes more dangerous each day. Even looking his way is dangerous but he managed to revive in her the feelings she though she lost long ago. This story is interesting and suspenseful. I devour it! Bell is strong and the best part is she doesn't fall at Dario's feet and accepts his terms. She wants to be independent. Dario is the guy that you least expect to be the night and shining armor, the hero. But I like that he surprises, that he is collected and always thinks ahead. Don't get me wrong, he is still bad and dark but that just makes him that much interesting. Their story deeply complicated and it makes for a great read!

Vegas...gambling...a cocktail waitress...a wealthy casino mogul...this intriguing story hooked me immediately! One look set their lives on a path neither one of them seemed to be able to stop. Bell and Dario are a risk together, so many reasons Bell should stay away from him and so many reasons Dario shouldn’t want her, but it’s a gamble neither one of them can turn down. This story is a slow burn in more ways than one, but when the fire is ignited, the sex and suspense are off the charts!

This story hooked me from the start and didn’t let me go. It dragged me along to watch the games the rich and powerful of Vegas play, in posh suites, private casinos and dark dangerous rooms filled with violence and depravity.

I find Alessandra Torre’s particular brand of storytelling to be amazing. She can paint an entire portrait where I can imagine in intricate detail the smell of the smoke and the calls of the dealer without being bogged down by any unnecessarily any long descriptions. Somehow, through explaining the banter of the characters and their actions, I can picture a world of her creation that is so rich, more words would just be a distraction.

Dario and Bell are smoldering. From their first glance to the explosive cliffhanger of an ending before the next book begins, they exude pure sex and magnetism between them. I love the confidence Bell has in the face of the powerful elite of the city and how she never bows to Dario. In turn, I love that this dominant man has fallen hard and given his heart to a woman that won’t crumble under him. They are a perfect match and the violence juxtaposed with the seduction and eroticism between them is stunning.

Alessandra Torre never fails to win me over again and again with her books, and this first half of Dario and Bell’s story is just another example of why I love this author.

OMG this book was phenomenal and I don’t know if I can wait until the second gets here!

I have read every book that Alessandra has written and this might be my new favorite. This couple is enigmatic and full of such chaos that I thrived in it while reading.
I love a good read with solid characters and these are characters I could read over and over.
Superb writing, as always, and a stunning backdrop painted with Rick and reward that you never see coming.
Book two here I come!
5 HUGE stars!

I was expecting more from this. I like most of Allessandra Torre's other books but this one just fell short of the mark for me. Maybe im tired of the insta-love trope. It just didn't feel believable. In fact, Feels was exactly what it was lacking. Im sorry Allessandra, Its a well written book as always, and i did enjoy the twists and turns. Just couldn't relate to Darios and Bell as a couple.

Even Money by Alessandra Torre is a contemporary romance filled with thrills and suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It touches on a marriage of convenience, that is really an open relationship due to both parties love and respect each other as a person, but there's nothing physical going on between them.

Dario meets Bell, who happens to be a waitress at an underground casino in Las Vegas. The moment they meet, there's no denying that their attraction is mutual. As you can expect, Dario pursues her and she knows it is wrong to even think about the possibility of seeing a married man...but Bell can't seem to make herself walk away.

He doesn't make it easy for her. I guess you can say he's one persistent son of a gun. I thought the author did a great job in describing Dario's situation with his wife so that the story doesn't come across as someone who's cheating on their significant other.

At the beginning of the book, you just don't know which way things will go, but as you read through the story and things are revealed you find that there's a good reason for Dario and Bell to be together. At times I felt bad because I just wanted him to get a divorce from his wife given the conditions in which they got married.

Dario is 100% alpha, my total kind of hero. The thrilling suspense in which their story evolves is part of the reason I couldn't put this book down. It was addicting! I kid you not. I'm on to book 2 because I need to know what will happen next after that darn cliffhanger.

I don't know how it happened but I'm now a loyal fan of this author.

What did I just read?!! Was my first thought as I finished, 'Even Money,' it was a first class reading treat! Those last few pages….. I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING. If you want to know what THAT is than pick up this book right now. 'Even Money,' sees Alessandra Torre going right back to her suspenseful writing roots all wrapped up in a delicious HOT romance.

A cocktail waitress and the most powerful man in Vegas with heavy responsibilities to match. Secrets, lies, death, and love all weaved into a prose that is both vivid and fluid. Written with a mixed narrative style, first person when from the perspective of Bell, the heroine at the heart of the story, switching to third person narrative at all other times, a technique I have seen this author use before and one that works perfectly for a story like this allowing the reader to learn things about various characters, situations, and moments in time that aid the suspenseful development whilst maintaining the flow and tone of the story.

The suspense element is skilfully layered into the narrative so that it made my heart rate rise, had me on the edge of my seat but equally did not distract me from the main course of the story which is the sizzling hot chemistry and the perfectly developed relationship of the male and female protagonists. They danced their way around undeniable attraction, an attraction that is convincingly shown to the reader. Their relationship may be one of an instant connection but I totally bought into their connection, believed it and wanted them to act on their feelings which is testament to the writing power of this author.

There isn’t anything about, 'Even Money,' that I didn’t enjoy. Fast paced, high drama, very sexy and sensual with great leading characters who had amazing chemistry and engaged my attention, my belief and my heart from the very beginning. It kept me firmly on my toes in terms of making me think about the story and I simply cannot wait for the next part which thankfully is coming towards the end of this month.... I need to know what happens next!
