This is book 3 of the Blue Ridge Romance Series. Daisy and Pastor Jack are great friends. Unfortunately, Daisy does not feel the same things that Pastor Jack does. He would like to be a little more than friends. So when Daisy joins a dating app, Pastor Jack's friend convinces him to start a profile. Will the app work, or will it pull them apart?

The beautiful cover and the intriguing premise of this book spoke to me and begged me to read it. Although it is the third book in Denise Hunter’s Blue Ridge series, it can easily be read as a stand alone book. Hunter is a master at creating realistic, endearing characters, and I immediately connected with Daisy Pendleton and Pastor Jack McReady. Daisy is sweet, friendly, and loves her job at her family’s flower shop. Jack is a compassionate, caring, rather shy pastor who has secretly loved Daisy for two years. It was such a treat to see these two develop their friendship and relationship on a different level. A charming and clean contemporary romance that will have you cheering for the characters. 4.5 stars

I have enjoyed this book series and I was happy to finally get to read Pastor Jack's story. The romance was good. and I love being able to revisit some of the other characters in the series. It is interesting to to try to understand that the pastor is a man who is a pastor. He isn't just the pastor. He has feelings. He loves. He is fallible. The only perfect man is the man the pastor teaches his congregation about.

This is another beautiful story from Denise Hunter.
Daisy, the heroine completely captivated me in her realness. She was so sweet, so insecure at times, and just an all around adorable main character.
I loved how she was able to overcome some of her life issues.

Denise Hunter is at the top of my author list and On Magnolia Lane is right on par. She has managed to captivate me with another romance. This time it is between a pastor and the town florist. Jack's friends convince him to chat with Daisy through a dating app, but she doesn't know that TJ and Jack are one and the same. It brings to light the fact that pastor's are human and have real life struggles. Both Jack and Daisy have to resolve issues of trust, honesty and love. It's a sweet romance with faith intertwined. Great characters, plot and setting!

Unfortunately, I didn't download this book before it was archived, so I lost it before I read it. It looks like a great book and I wish I had the opportunity to read and review the book.

To be completely up front: I accidentally jumped into this series in the third book, rather than starting from the first. I believe, however, that that has only minimally affected by enjoyment of the story. There are only a few allusions to the first two books, and from the best I can tell, the points are not pivotal to the plot of this one.

"On Magnolia Lane" is a lovely, charming Christian romance. Pastor Jack is a handsome, very sweet man, who is also nearly crippled by shyness and a sense or honor and duty. As the leader of his congregation, he is in a position of authority, and he takes that responsibility very seriously. A man of his age, unmarried, with a solid foundation as he has can be incredibly attractive to those on the marriage market. His sense of honor keeps him from casually dating amongst the women who subtly and not-so-subtly throw themselves in his path. He knows that doing so would only hurt his congregation, as each unsuccessful date or relationship ending could spark hurt feelings, rumors, and worse. And that crippling shyness keeps him from approaching the one woman who he would happily join the dating scene for.

Daisy is a self-deprecating woman whose path through the world is led entirely by her heart. She is kind, generous, loving, but also naive and largely unaware that the reason she thinks so lowly of herself is because she has a tendency to put others on a high, high pedestal that makes her feel low in comparison. That naivete puts her in a position to be shocked and horrified and deeply saddened when the people she put up on a pedestal turn out to be fallible after all.

With a shy pastor and a self-deprecating small businesswoman, it's fascinating to consider how these two would ever manage to get together. I think that Denise Hunter handled the task beautifully by having well-meaning friends set Pastor Jack - AKA TJ - an online dating profile. That isn't quite enough, though. Those well-meaning friends also send Daisy a message, as she is on the same dating app. And the rest, as they say, is history. Right?

This story becomes significantly more complicated as an unknown remnant of her father's past comes into Daisy's life unexpectedly. Then more complicated again as Pastor Jack and Daisy work together in person to set up a fundraiser that will help rebuild a young girl's home that had been damaged in a storm.

So now we have multiple story lines to follow. There's Daisy and TJ in the dating app online, sending sporadic messages about once a day, and then gradually building to nightly "live" conversations. There's Daisy and Pastor Jack, working closely together to put together a fundraiser that will help over a dozen young girls have a home again. Then there's Daisy and a mysterious woman who just came to town for the first time, but seems to have deep ties.

It's a bit of a jumble at times. There were parts where I felt the plot became a bit forced, or scenes that didn't do everything they could have. For instance, there is a scene where Daisy is on live TV and she is emotionally distraught. The pain and humiliation that she feels serves as a heartbreaking moment for others who see her, but she doesn't seem to get anything from it herself. It could have been a learning moment, where she realizes the cost of putting others on an undeserved pedestal. It could have been a traumatizing moment that leads her in a new direction in her life. But it didn't quite seem to get there, and honestly it felt needlessly cruel in a lighthearted Christian romance.

Overall, there are many positives about this book. It is an easy read. I finished it in one night, but it would make a lovely weekend read. With summer coming up, I'd absolutely grab this book for a vacation.

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

Pastor Jack McReady has been in love with Daisy Pendelton, a member of his congregation, for the past 2 years. However, he feels it would be inappropriate to let her know how he feels because of his position. Jack's friend Noah decides to “help” Jack by setting up a profile under his initials, TJ, on the same dating site Daisy uses. Jack plans to delete the profile, but when Daisy writes TJ on the dating site, he can't resist responding. Daisy and TJ grow close through their online communications, but Daisy and Jack are spending time together in real life, and Jack knows he can't keep up the charade forever.

I loved this book. It has a perfect blend of an engaging story and references to God; I have seen far too many Christian novels where the story seems like an afterthought to sharing God's word. Though it is the third book in a series, I had no trouble reading it as a standalone. The characters in the series are all well-rounded. I liked that Daisy had dyslexia because you don't see that disability often in book characters, and she was still able to enjoy reading by listening to audiobooks. I love stories where the characters get to know each other as friends before falling in love. The side arcs in the novel were as good as the main story. Highly recommend!

I devoured On Magnolia Lane by Denise Hunter, the final book in the Blue Ridge Romance series.
Daisy Pendleton and Pastor Jack McReady both want love and romance.
Jack’s friends want to help him because they can see what he thinks he’s hidden so well. Tangled in their plan, he finds himself in a precarious position when the one thing he’s wanted is practically handed to him. But it means going against his conscience.
When a mysterious woman enters Daisy’s floral store, she has no idea that their meeting will have such a powerful impact in her life. She gets the opportunity to face her fears, at the cost of her family’s secrets.
There is no lack of intrigue in On Magolia Lane. I give it five out of five stars and highly recommend it!

On Magnolia Lane is part of the Blue Ridge Romance series by Denise Hunter. They have all been captivating tales. This one is unique in that it pairs Daisy, the local florist, with Jack, the Pastor. I was concerned at first, how Ms Hunter would handle a romance with a Pastor; but she made Jack human and believable. Jack has secret feelings of love for Daisy but doesn't know how to tell her. He's afraid that the slight age difference plus his position as her spiritual adviser might turn her off.

Jack's friends decide to create him an online profile on a dating app they know Daisy is using; and against his better judgment, Jack finds himself conversing with Daisy through the app. At the same time, things escalate in real life between Daisy and Jack as they work together on a fund raiser and in dealing with complicated family secrets that threaten to destroy her life.

Daisy trusts Jack and everyone around her seems to be losing her trust but what will she do when she finds out that even Jack has failed her.

This is another 5 star romance. You find yourself loving the characters and the whole community that they are a part of. It's worth a spot on your keeper shelf. Thanks to Thomas Nelson Fiction for allowing me to read this novel through Netgalley.

Reading On Magnolia Lane made me so happy. So, so happy. It’s swoonworthy and sweet and everything I wanted for Daisy Pendleton and Pastor Jack McReady. Fans of Denise Hunter’s Blue Ridge Romance series will not be disappointed with this final book.

Pastor Jack has harbored feelings for Daisy for years, but she has no idea. When she begins online dating, it’s time for Jack to show how good they could be together. Their story then develops with You’ve Got Mail-like charm, full of secrets, faith, and community, and is sure to bring a smile to any reader’s face.

I wholly enjoyed On Magnolia Lane. It’s a delightful contemporary romance, and I highly recommend it to any fans of the genre.

I love this series! Denise Hunter did not disappoint me with this book. It was a quick read and so true to life! Pastor Jack McReady reminds me so much of Father Tim Kavanaugh in Jan Karon's books. At times, I wanted to laugh and other times I wanted to cry. It's books like this that make me check to seen when Denise's next book comes out!

I am reviewing a copy of On Magnolia Lane through Thomas Nelson Fiction and Netgalley:

Jack found it easy to fall in love with Daisy but telling her how he feels proves to be more difficult when his secret becomes more problematic when his secret feelings lead to bigger complications!

Two years of counseling sessions with Daisy Pendleton has earned Pastor Jack McReady a permanent place in her life as a spiritual leader but nothing more than that and Jack is not going to risk her trust by sharing his heart but he is helplessly in love with her.

Daisy loves her small town, southern life as well as her job at her family run flowershop but she doesn’t have the thing she longs for and that is someone to share it with. That is until she meets TJ!

Jack can’t believe his friend used his initals as well as an indistinct photo to set up a profile for Jack on the dating app Daisy uses. When he is finally given the opportunity to show another side of himself, he is sucked into the plan before he has a chance for second guesses.

Daisy shares some of her greatest fears with TJ Online. In Person Jack and Daisy are spending more time in person. When a devastating family secret comes to light Daisy knows only Jack her trusted friend and counselor can bring her the comf she needs. Jack desires to be both men for Daisy but revealing his secret may be Daisy’s greatest test of Grace.

I give On Magnolia Lane five out of five stars!

Happy Reading!

The final book in the Blue Ridge romance series. Daisy and Jack. Daisy loves her small town where she is the local florist, Jack loves the small town too where he is the local pastor. They have become friends through two years of counseling sessions and Jack realizes he has fallen in love with Daisy but doesn't want to cross any lines or mess up their friendship. Jack's well intentioned friends set him up on an online dating site where he meets Daisy only she doesn't know it's him. The results could be disastrous when Daisy finds out if she's not willing to forgive Jack.
