I love Denise Hunter.

Having said that I was eager to devour the last book in her Blue Ridge Romance series. I was not left disappointed.

Daisy can't seem to make it in the dating world. As a last measure, she signs up for an online dating app called Flutter to try her luck there. That's where she meets TJ and as conversations pass between the two of them, Daisy wonders if she's found her happily ever after.

Paster Jack has been in love with Daisy for two years. So when his best friend Noah plays matchmaker online for the two of them, Jack is reluctant to talk to Daisy under the name TJ. There's no way she could fall for him. He's her pastor and almost ten years older. But as messages start to fly between the two of them, Jack finds himself falling more and more for Daisy but wonders will he ever be with Daisy outside of Flutter.

Gripping, emotional, heart-wrenching. Denise Hunter surely has a new winner. If you are not sure about this book, I advise you to pick this up. You won't regret it.

This book is appropriate for ages 13+ for thematic elements. No sexual content or foul language.

On Magnolia Lane – Denise Hunter

This is the third book in the Blue Ridge Series by Denise Hunter. This story follows Pastor Jack and the local flower shop owner, Daisy. Pastor Jack has been in love with Daisy for two years and Daisy has no idea, plus Pastor Jack counsels Daisy and she is a member of his congregation so there is no way Daisy would ever see him as anything other than her pastor. Daisy would love to be with someone but after numerous bad dates, she keeps scrolling on her dating app and comes across a guy that she hasn’t seen before. She starts talking to him about her life and little does she know, its Pastor Jack. Jack’s friends put him on the dating site and now he has to figure out a way to let her know it’s him without hurting her.
This is a great storyline. It’s a good story about extending grace to those who have hurt you. I love all of Denise Hunter’s stories and this one is no different. I hope there are more books planned for the series.

On Magnolia Lane, book three from Denise Hunter's Blue Ridge Romance series. I enjoyed this sweet story. Pastor Jack McReady and Daisy Pendleton teaches the reader so many powerful lessons. Including: love, faith, grace and forgiveness.
I give On Magnolia Lane four and a half stars. I recommend this clean, sweet, inspiring and romantic read. As well as, the other books from the series. I am sad to see the end of the Blue Ridge Romance series.

As beautiful as the cover, this story brings together two people who share a love of God & community. This desire to serve others is not something that every person has. We’ve met both of these characters previously in this series from Denise Hunter, set in Georgia. They are the final 2 in a group of longtime friends. Jack, is the Pastor of Daisy’s church, and someone she has looked up to and considered a good friend for many years. However, she has never seen him as anything more than that. He has been harboring a love for her the last 2 years. Being the shy and reserved individual he is, he has never shown any of that to her. Fearful of loosing her respect and friendship he’d rather endure the status quo of watching her dancing and entertaining the attentions of other admirers. As this story began I thought to myself, just how is Denise going to bring these two together?! What follows was a story so sweet & tender, unhurried in its pace, that mirrors the personalities of both Jack & Daisy. With a few surprises in store that will turn Daisy’s world on its end, she may find that what she usually needed from Jack, may have just stepped up a level. My heart flip flopped in all the right moments. Completely loved this story.

Thanks to Thomas Nelson & Netgalley for the complimentary eARC. This is my honest review.

Every time a new book in this series comes out, it immediately flies to the top of my TBR pile. Christian romances are not my typical genre but the last few books I've read have been suspense thrillers so I wanted something fluffy.

This installment focuses on Pastor Jack and his years long crush on Daisy. He's interested in her and she's interested in being in love so both find themselves on a dating site. Unbeknownst to her though (he used photos that don't look like him and a nickname) they're matched and she finds herself falling for "TJ"

Another sweet and wholesome book from an author who has a way of reaching straight to the heart of her readers.

Daisy owns the florist shop in town and Jack McReady is the pastor of Daisy's church. He's attracted to her to the point of falling in love. Daisy doesn't quite know he's there yet. Well, she knows he's there, but she's not in the same place he is emotionally.

Daisy's life is not easy by any stretch of the imagination. She's upset that she doesn't have a romantic life, a storm rips through town and damages the shelter she supports, and then a sister she didn't know she had shows up in town. To solve her first problem she signs up on an online dating app. The second problem is a bit more involved. She needs to help raise $20,000 to repair the shelter, but this is where the new sister proves helpful--she's got a connection to a country band that will donate their part of the take to the shelter and the committee donated their part of the take too.

Denise Hunter has written a fast-paced novel that could make a reader believe it took her only two weeks to write. A sentient reader would know that writing a novel takes much longer than that. There is a lot of fun in the book and it is an entertaining read. Four solid stars.

My thanks to Thomas Nelson Publishing for allowing me to read and review this book.

I enjoyed this latest novel in the Blue Ridge Romance series. It was interesting to see a romance bloom between a pastor and member of his congregation. I also found the story thread of Daisy and her sister added to the overall story.
Denise Hunter has quickly become one of my favorite Christian fiction authors.

A story of betrayal, grace, and sweet love… Denise Hunter weaves it all together beautifully. The setting is a town I could happily put down roots in and get to know all the wonderful people. Not exactly fast-paced, but just right for a summer beach read and the characters will tuck themselves nicely into your heart. Definitely recommended.

On Magnolia Lane is classic Hunter: it's sweet, romantic with realistic drama built in! I love Hunter's characters: they feel real, but they aren't perfect. Perfect is intimidating, right? Jack may see Daisy as a beautiful love interest, but she sees herself in a very different light, and nowhere does "classic beauty" come up. I really enjoy that difference in perspective in Hunter's books, and it makes her characters come across as fresh, friendly, people-next-door kind of people.

The very best part of this book, to me, was Daisy's dual-life romances with Jack. The (unintentional) deception, the deepening friendship on both levels, and the potential for trouble at any moment made the sweetness extra exciting. The whole situation was fun to read about, but it was realistic enough that you could see something like that happening in real life, too.

I also enjoyed the family secret and the twists that it brought with it. Mysteries always add spice to a story, and this one added to the spiritual lessons that Daisy's entanglement with Jack provided.

There were other fun subplots involving other characters of Copper Creek, as well. I don't want to spoil anything, but I enjoyed them all - and I hope that there are many more books to come in this series.

Denise Hunter has written a beautiful story of love. Not just a romance, but a tale of the how far love can go to mend a heart. Daisy is one of the most delightful characters I've met. She's a refreshing young woman who cares about her family and her community. Jack, a pastor, takes care of everyone else. Hunter weaves a beautiful story of forgiveness and understanding. I'd love to see this book as a Hallmark movie with Kate Corbett as Daisy and Niall Matter as Jack. Also, this book can be read as a standalone from the series. I love Hunter's writing. Reading her book is like sitting on the porch swing, with a glass of sweet tea; savoring each scene, yet needing to turn the page to see what happens next. This is third book in the Blue Ridge series. On Magnolia Lane provides the reader with another glimpse of characters from this community. This book focuses on Daisy and Pastor Jack. The book begins with Daisy discovering a revelation of something that occurred in her family that she didn’t know. Pastor Jack has liked Daisy for the longest, but is extremely shy. Will they be able to work through their feelings? Ms. Hunter’s books are refreshing and seem real. She addresses several different situations. I really enjoyed reading this book and had been looking forward to it! Ms. Hunter writes extremely believable, romantic tales! This book also provides glimpses of the characters from the previous books. I highly recommend this book and the other books in the series! You will not be disappointed in the book!

3 1/2 stars.

We've known that Pastor Jack has a crush on Daisy and I was glad to see their story take place.

Unfortunately, it felt a bit one-sided, with the reader knowing more of Jack's feelings than Daisy's.
Daisy has a lot going on in her life, and Jack is always there to counsel her and support her, but she doesn't see him as a friend until closer to the end.

Not my favorite but still a good read.

Author Denise Hunter gives us Daisy and Jack’s love story in this addition to the A Blue Ridge Romance series. For me this was the best book in the series, and I hesitate to say that because all the books are 5 star wonderful. I connected with the main character Daisy on many levels and enjoyed her journey of forgiveness and grace. This author is so very talented in presenting four dimensional characters. I love the depth of Jack she reveals in this story.

Great take away quotes: “Sometimes you have to extend a little grace to people. Not because they deserve it-but because we don’t either.” “She would find the grace to forgive her father because grace brought healing and peace.”

ON MAGNOLIA LANE. by Denise Hunter. Blue Ridge Rmance 3.
Plaster Jack she still calls him after two years of appointments. For him. love happened during those time. Was an on line dating service the answer for her, she meets a TJ, looks forward to their talks. A dance with her, when out with friends, could that finally bring them together. Interesting story, of her, wanting to find the Mr.Right and for Jack how to take that first step. They both ministered to others, always ready to help. An unexpected visitor, taught her, to be forgiving. All of the authors books have an insite of Christian values, and enjoyable to read.
Given ARC by Net Galley and Thomas Nelson for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

I'm a big fan of Denise Hunter's books and the Blue Ridge Romance series has been very good! Denise is one of my favorite authors for a well told story full of dynamic in-depth romantic relationships. I give On Magnolia Lane 4.5 swoony-worthy stars!

I have been looking forward to Jack and Daisy's story. I love both their characters, Jack with his strong faith and devotion to God while secretly pining away for Daisy, and Daisy with her sweet caring helpful ways while clueless to Jack's adoration. I loved watching their attraction play out. I was on pins and needles watching them dance around each other, literally and figuratively, and at one point was talking to them both, giving advice and telling them what they should or should not do, even, "oh boy, you're going to regret that". Talking to characters is a sure sign Hunter has grabbed my full attention and drawn me into her world!

I was taken by surprise by the secondary story as a stranger appears in small town Copper Creek, bringing long held secrets to light. What twists and a turns this brought to the story!

One thing I feel compelled to point out, I struggled and had a difference of opinion with Daisy's point of view that parents are under some obligation and have a responsibility to reveal all their marital struggles to their children, things that happened even before they were born! It bothered me some that she felt this way. It seemed too simplistic, judgmental and one sided to me, and marriage with all it's potential issues is never that easy, or black and white. Couples have to find their own way with this and I feel it's between the two of them what decisions they make. I've seen this happen first hand, so that has influenced me and given me a different perspective I'm sure.

On Magnolia Lane is a thought-provoking entertaining story that had me pondering what it means to truly love and truly forgive long after I read the last page. As always, I look forward to Denise Hunter's next book.

This series just keeps getting better!! Daisy and Jack’s story will have you cheering, shaking your head, and crying the next. The development we see of both Daisy and Jack individually helps to build an incredible love story.

Daisy’s story reminds us to not put anyone on a pedestal as we are all humans in need of grace. As we see, it isn’t always easy to give grace but once we do, the reward is well worth it. I loved watching Daisy grow to not only extend grace to others, but most importantly to herself which I think we all fall short of.

Jack reminds us that pastors are humans too. We often place them in a glass house high above others when they are just like us with flaws and desires. Jack gives us a glimpse of the struggle he faces to not only be a pastor but a man chasing after the woman he loves.

A beautiful love story that is a must read! We can all learn from Jack & Daisy’s story.
