This is the second book in series, a follow-up. Not a stand-alone.

This was a great addition to the series. The story progressed very quickly and Durand developed greatly as a main character. He grew in depth as well as in skills during the book. The book also contained very epic and well written fight scenes. They made you really feel apart of the story and sucked you into the story line. Durand got to come into his own during the telling.
