When I requested this book on Netgalley, I hadn't realized this was the fifth book of a series. However, it is no problem to read this book as a standalone. We meet the Morgan brothers, who have a successful Californian ranch in Morgantown. A friend of theirs, Rio Martinez, champion bull rider has offered to help them out during the summer.
When Rio meets Yvonne in Morgantown, he is mesmerized. And as a famous champion he is used to women throwing themselves at his feet. So, when he sets his eyes on Yvonne, he couldn't imagine she would turn him down. But she does, repeatedly.
Yvonne barely has time for a life. After her husband abandoned her in France, she came back to Morgantown to run the local cafe. She is working day and night, and loving it. So, when the overconfident bull rider thinks he can seduce her, he is out of luck.
However, Rio is persistent, and despite all the efforts to keep him at arms length, he finds a way to get near her. When Yvonne is asked to be the star in a new reality TV show, she needs someone to guide her through this. And while Rio was a business man before he turned his back on his father's empire, he can help Yvonne out. But can Yvonne trust him? Or will he abandon her, just like her ex, when she needs him most?
Find out for yourselves in this wonderful read! And don't forget to read the other parts of the Morgan Ranch series. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.
Rio is a champion bull rider, and is helping out his friends at their guest ranch for the summer.
Yvonne is a baker and cafe owner and friends with the Morgans. Though the Morgan women are trying to set her up with someone else, when Rio and Yvonne meet their attraction is undeniable.
They both have past baggage and are not interested in a relationship. What kind of a future can these two commitment phobics have ?
The billionaire bull rider is a great read with very well developed characters. I loved how strong and independent Yvonne is. And Rio was just swoon worthy. As with the previous books, the importance of family and letting go of the past theme is continued.
Love the series and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a book with Hot cowboys.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own
This book was great. Loved the story line. Loved the emotional s that came with the booking. Can't wait to see what other books you have..
By definition family is related by blood, in the case of the Morgans, blood isn’t the only thing that makes you family...it’s the love that bonds these people together. As the series continues, the Morgan family grows with the addition of Rio and Yvonne to the ranch. Both fit right in with the rest of the family, with their dynamic personalities...and then there’s the sparks these two set off. As their relationship builds, outside forces attempt to keep that from happening, creating the perfect amount of tension and drama.
Ms Pearce is masterful at creating characters who leave a lasting impression, as with the rest of the Morgan family, Rio and Yvonne will stay with you long after the story has ended.
This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.
This was a fantastic read by Kate Pearce! I have only read her Morgan Ranch series, but I have loved all of the books. This is another great addition to the series. I was hooked from the first page, and I could not put it down until I was done! I love cowboy romances, so I really liked this book. I love how they do not come from a picture-perfect family. We see the struggles that they have gone through and are going through. This is Rio and Yvonne’s book, and Rio is not a part of the Morgan family but a friend. It was still a great addition to the series, and I love that it has expanded to outside of the family. It is a wonderful read, and I highly recommend this book and the other books in the series!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.
Having read and enjoyed the books in the Morgan Ranch series I was looking froward to this book. However, I must say that it doesn't really focus on the Morgans but rather on friends of theirs. So while I enjoyed the book, there was less Morgan family interaction than I've come to expect from this series. That said Yvonne and Rio actually came together because of their mutual friends, even though all of the Morgan women were actually trying to set up Yvonne with someone else.
As expected, Kate Pearce has written a steamy contemporary romance featuring a hot cowboy so no complaints there! Although I will say it took me a while to warm up to the characters but once I did, I enjoyed the story. Still looking forward to the youngest Morgan sibling's story....
Another book in the Morgan ranch series. But in this one the people from the outside of the family fall in love. And that is Rio the bull rider and owner of the bakery Yvonne. At first, I didn't like Yvonne because she seemed calculated by picking her date the reason for choosing Matt over Rio didn't settle well with me. But in the continuing the attraction that they both feel is difficult to ignore. I loved the all the sexual tension that the author built toward the very hot end. Rio is a likable character full of daddy issues which still bother him. I liked that he always wanted to sort out the problem that he had with Yvonne. IT was great how did they work well together and how Yvonne had opened Rios eyes when it came to his father. In the end, we see that Yvonne is a really strong woman and that love concurs all.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly.
This is another book in the Morgan Brothers Ranch series. s. We have met both Rio and Yvonne is previous books and we get this fantastic book about Rio and Yvonne. They start as “friends with benefits” relationship which of course gets complicated.
Rio, a world champion bull rider, comes to Morgan Ranch to help with the mechanical bull riding lessons. Here he meets Yvonne who starts to become an important part of his life. They both agree that they have careers that will keep them apart once he goes back on the PBR circuit. Along the way Yvonne’s ex appears and Rio’s father comes back into his life. There is a lot of turmoil they each have to work thru separately and then together. The book is a great addition to the Morgan Ranch series and I would highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed in this book or any of the others in this series.
Loved the book.
After having read the whole series of the Morgans and waiting for the sister’s story, we get this fantastic book about Rio and Yvonne. This is my favorite book of the series. We have met both Rio and Yvonne is previous books and I wanted a book featuring Yvonne and, yay!, this one is perfect. They are both confident people and their banter is snarky and flirtatious and fun. Friends with benefits…yeah, that does not cut it for these two. I love how the family theme of these stories is carried over into this book. You cannot choose your family but they do the best they can to live within it.
On another note, Josie is cute and maybe a story somewhere in her future?
The Billionaire Bull Rider by Kate Pearce is another book in the Morgan Brother Ranch series. Wow is the word of the day for this book. It had it all and was extremely enjoyable to read. The main characters are Rio a world champion bull rider, and Yvonne a café/bakery owner. These two have a lot of chemistry that works out initially to “friends with benefits” and evolves to their HEA. The storyline is well written and moves at a steady pace. I loved the combination of humor and romance with a bit of other emotions mixed in. This is also a story of strong family bonding, friendships and forgiveness. It is a terrific story that I highly recommend!
A Fabulous addition to this already amazing series. The Billionaire Bull Rider is Morgan’s sexy friend Rio. The chemistry between Rio and Yvonne is undeniable, the interaction is perfect, and the storyline is well written and engrossing. I quickly feel into this story, sitting back and breathing in every word. I love this story and series and if you haven’t read it yet I suggest you go pick up The Reluctant Cowboy and get started.
This is another book in the Morgan Brothers Ranch series. It is an awesome story.
Rio is the world champion PBR bull rider. He is spending his time off helping the Morgan's out on their ranch. He is a friend of HW Morgan. At Sunday lunch at the ranch, he meets Yvonne, who owns a cafe/bakery in town. He is immediately taken by her. But Yvonne isn't looking for a relationship. They come to be friends while their chemistry heats up.
There are several different stories going on that all cause issues for the couple, as well as those around them. As their relationship grows, so does the turmoil around them. Well they ever be able to put these issues behind them and find their HEA? You'll have to read the book to find out. You don't have to read the other books in the series to understand this one but I recommend that you do because they are so great.
I have been a huge fan of Kate Pearce's books in the past. Her House of Pleasure series is one of my all time favorites, however this book was just lacking something. The writing didn't seem up to her usual level, and the dialogue was choppy and hard to follow. I wanted to love Rio, but he was a little too easygoing and let Yvonne walk all over him. I wanted him to man up and take what he wanted, because it was obvious she wanted him right back!
I gave up about 2/3 of the way in because I just didn't care about them.
Tales of the Morgan Ranch posse continue, but now we get to drool over their sexy friend Rio and bare witness to his enchantment with the lovely Yvonne. The chemistry between this couple was undeniable, and so very well captured by Ms Pearce.
This was definitely one of my favourite reads by this author as it also demonstrates the importance of family, whether they are blood related or family by choice. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a sexy Cowboy and HEA romance with complex and intriguing characters throughout.
The Billionaire Bull Rider is a great boo. Loved the plot, characters and setting. I also enjoyed the author’s writing. Romance fans will enjoy this book.
The author takes us back to the Morgan Ranch and Morgantown. This time the story does not belong to the Morgan siblings whom we have come to love, but rather to their friend Rio and pastry chef Yvonne.
Rio is a world champion bull rider , helping out his friends at their ranch. Though as the story progresses, we find out he is much more than that.
Yvonne owns and runs the local cafe and is well known for her pastries. She has had to overcome obstacles, and is a very independent woman. Rio and Yvonne start a “friends with benefits” relationship which of course gets complicated.
In addition to their story, we are reminded the importance of family, whether by blood or by bonds created .
Another well written story in this series which was engaging and had complex characters.
I received this copy from Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
'Twas an okay read. I'm not over the moon about it but I would recommend it anyway. The dialogue was good but somehow, it was lacking - I cant put my finger on what is missing but something was off. Nevertheless, I would recommend it.
Rio's confidence is the most seductive part of him. Yvonne also knows what she wants and needs. She soon learns that Rio is what she craves. I totally loved, The Billionaire Bull Rider. I would recommend it to all of my friends.
If you like strong family bonds, starting over and hot cowboys you will lo e this book. A lot of emotions s and love.
