This is Book 4 in the Compass Boys series. Ok, I’m going to be honest here when I tell you that I cried at the end of the book. I have spent many happy nights visiting with the Compton family. This was just another great time with them. I just regret that it wasn’t longer with a deeper story between Doug, TJ and Rosalia. There’s a lot of emotion going on in this storyline between the three of them with a deeper look into TJ’s background. You will love the pull between them and how they finally came together. Remember the box of Kleenex because you will need it. It’s har to realize that this is the end of a series of books about the Compton family. We’ve been through so much together. The hardiest parts were the books with JD and Vicky leaving us. But we leave the family knowing everyone is loved and happy. A big thank you to the authors for allowing me to be a part of this wonderful book family. If you haven’t read any of the other books, I highly recommend reading the Compass Brothers, Compass Girls and the first 3 books in the Compass Boys series. They will quickly become a part of your family. Compton family, you will be missed! Maybe down the road, we will see the Compass grandchildren in a series? Fingers are crossed!

This is a very emotional and very hot ménage romance. The chemistry between Doug, Rosalia and TJ was absolutely electric and the intimate scenes are scorching. I love a book that not only brings the heat but the heart as well and there is so much going on here emotionally. From Doug's struggle with his dream ending injury, to the long friendship between TJ and Doug, to the long simmering feelings and attraction between these friends, to the new attraction they both feel towards Rosalia, and TJ's painful history and family issues. An amazing, beautiful and steamy read that both entertains and also moves you.

Doug and TJ had been friends forever, and although they both felt an attraction they never did anything about it until they worked together with Rosie. Rosie is the head scientist on a "storm chaser" type of job, and is attracted to both men. A fair story of a threesome, and side stories around them. Kept my interest, although short and not overly detailed. Would recommend.

The final Compton Boys book. Most of the time it is easy to forget that Doug and TJ are in their early twenties. They seem older. This leads me to wonder how much older Rosalia is than them since she has just finished her doctorate.

Doug is an easy going guy. Kind of a jokester. He had a setback in his life plans early in his life but mostly his life has been good. TJ has been Doug’s best friend his whole life. His life hasn’t been easy. Stuck dealing with his alcoholic father and feeling like he has nothing in his life. Doug brings him back to life when he introduces him to Rosalia. It is a very emotional journey for TJ.

Lots to love here: sexy cowboys, fearless storm chasers, a super smart lady scientist who gets her men. This book had more story and less sexy-times than I expected from a book from either of these authors, but it worked. The balance was good and I appreciated the extra feels. The emotions rang true and the amount of conflict/angst was just right.

This was my first ever Compass book and I'm kicking myself for finding this series at the very end. Still, for having not been introduced to this world before, I didn't ever get lost, and I didn't feel like I was getting a ton of spoilers that would ruin the other books for me. In fact, I fully intend to start at the beginning and read them in proper order.

Doug and JT have been best friends since childhood. While Doug has been working as a camera man/producer on a storm chasing crew, JT has been at home caring for his abusive, alcoholic father. Doug has been in love with Rosalie for years, but she has kept him in the friend zone. When the storm crew needs another camera man, Doug convinces JT to leave home and work on the crew. Rosalie has had a cancer scare and now wants to live. She regrets pushing Doug away. When Doug returns with JT, she has two handsome cowboys she wants.

The chemistry in this book was amazing. I loved the connection between Doug, Rosalie, and JT. The book was so smoking hot. I read it in one sitting and wished it was longer. This was an amazing end to the series.

I received an ARC from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!

Doug and TJ have been best friends forever despite TJ’s problems dealing with his alcoholic father on his own. TJ’s is feeling bleak, Doug is the only person who can drag him out of the darkness so he decides to follow him when he asks him to help him storm chase with brilliant and beautiful scientist Rosalia. The problem is the storm is closer to home than he expected. The thing I love about Mari’s writing is the depth of her characters along with great story telling.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

A sweet and sexy romance, Light as Air delivers an interesting storyline and scenes that are hot as hell. I read this without reading the other books in the series, and it stands on its own - though I enjoyed this one so much that I plan to pick up the rest.

I received a free ARC via NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

I am sad to see the ending to the wonderful Compass Series. But Mari Carr and Jayne Rylon do a wonderful job of bringing this family's saga to a conclusion. Two sexy cowboys and an innocent scientist heat up the pages. Doug Compton is the final Compass Boy to find his way to happiness. His best friend TJ Nicholas feels trapped because of a promise he made to his dying mother. Doug can see how much TJ is suffering and convinces him to come with him on one of his storm chasing assignments. This trip will have an eye opening effect on their lives. Rosalia Salvatore is a scientist who runs this storm chasing operation. But there is a totally different type of storm developing between the two sexy cowboys and the innocent scientist. The three will discover feelings that have been dormant and come to life with sizzling results! A very enjoyable series!!!!!

Full circle, that is what this book was, the epilogue matches the prologue from the first book, and made me smile for a peek with the family we've followed for so long

Now, for the story of Doug, this pulled a few tears right from the start. When we last saw Doug, he was a pre-teen set on the rodeo. Now, he is a storm chaser, so we find out why right away. Then we learn about his best friend, TJ. TJ will break your heart, and Doug will give you hope. We add in Rosa, yes, we are getting our Compton menage, and it is perfect. Rosa is a scientist, a doctor, and she is who is the real storm chaser. Doug tapes, Rosa chases, and TJ is along for the ride this time

Rosa has kept to herself all her life. Between being the only girl with six brothers, working in her families restaurant, and burying herself in her studies, she resisted Doug's advances. A slight health scare has her ready to step up, but TJ adds to the mix. Doug and Rosa know each other well, and he is ready once he sees the change in her, but convincing TJ takes a bit. TJ hasn't had the best life, and letting that go to live his own takes some change in thoughts for him

Hopeful and sexy, these three were the perfect way to close off the Comptons story!
