Very realistic and interesting characters. Fast-paced plot that kept me thoroughly engaged throughout. Enjoyed every page of it!
*I received a complimentary ARC of this book in order to read and provide a voluntary, unbiased and honest review, should I choose to do so.
An overall okay plot but it was rather predictable. It isn't something I'd recommend to anyone who is a hardcore reader of mysteries. But, if you're into PI's and interesting characters, it's definitely worth the read.
4.5 Stars
I didn't discover this series until book #5, so now I am playing catch up. A good suspenseful read that I couldn't put down, about missing children. Sloane puts her instincts to use trying to find out about the disappearance of a little girl and if her disappearance is linked to another case from a few years ago. There are plenty of twists and turns and I definitely will be reading more stories in this series!
I received an ARC thru NetGalley in exchange for my opinion.
Good. Suspensful. I really enjoyed this book. I would recommend it. Had me from page one. I really enjoyed the characters
A stranger in town by Cheryl Bradshaw.
A frantic mother runs up and down the aisles of Maybelle's Market, desperately searching for her missing daughter.
But she's far too late. Six-year-old Olivia is already gone, already in the arms of a stranger. Will PI Sloane Monroe find her before it's too late?
This was an absolutely fantastic read with brilliant characters. I loved Sloane character. I didn't see that coming. Shocked. 5*.
I would like to thank the Netgalley website and createspace independent publishing platform for this partnership.
I was immediately attracted by the cover, we see Olivia walking in the forest that holds the hand of a woman surely his mother.
It all starts when little Olivia disappears into her mother's back. Sloane Monroe will investigate his disappearance hoping to find him.
A fourth book filled with suspense and twists. A moving and captivating story, eager to read the other books in this series.
A missing child sends a tingle up everyone's spine. Especially when they were just next to Mom and now they are missing.
Kobo Writing Life and Net Galley gave me the opportunity to read this story for review (thank you). It has been published and you can get a copy now.
There is a common reason these two girls were grabbed but it's not apparent. With a PI and a local sheriff snooping around, they find clues and they move closer to a solution. Will they be in time?
This read keeps you glued to every page hoping for a happy ending even when you know better. You might be surprised...
I love Cheryl Bradshaw and PI Sloane Monroe! I’ve read several of the Sloane Monroe series and this one does not disappoint! Fast paced and consuming, this is a quick read with great characters. Bradshaw is an awesome storyteller.
I have not read any of the other books in this series, but found this one to be a quick and enjoyable read. It wasn't realistic the way that Sloane was able to easily acquire information that the police couldn't. Other than that, I enjoyed the book a lot. I will definitely be checking out others in this series soon!
I really enjoyed this book about a feisty PI named Sloan Munroe. It was quick reading - I finished it in one day. I can highly recommend this series. As a matter of fact, the first three books in this series is bundled together. I bought them and will read them immediately after I finish this review. Very highly recommended!!!
A nightmare when a child is taken, then add another before , they call PI Sloane in. It’s personal for him, the evidence that wasn’t given to the police.
Why wasn’t it, a perplexing case, you feel the emotion, and time is essential, can they be found, and alive. Given ARC by Net Galley and Kobo Writing Life for my Voluntary review and my honest opinion.
