Abo’s advice and insights are very helpful. Great tips to focus on the positive aspects of your life rather than comparing yourself to others.
I have heard it said that first-year college students sometimes fall into depression because they are comparing themselves to brochures with happy people and social media making it look like everything is perfect. When things aren’t perfect or the way it seems to be for others they get depressed and have a hard time getting engaged at college. I think the same holds true to adults. You might see photos of your friends happy baby that never seems to cry. But in actuality, they didn’t post photos of their baby crying.
Abo’s book makes you realize the grass isn’t greener in your neighbors' yard. The book even gives tips on how to handle your job search.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book courtesy of NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book should be required reading for anyone that has a social media account. The author's advice on how to take an honest look at your life and determine the real reasons for your unhappiness is much needed for many of us that look at the perfect social media accounts of our peers and think that their life is perfect and ours is lacking. We have all felt that way and the author of this book gives easy to follow advice on how to break the cycle.
