I would recommend this story to all thriller lovers. This book took me by surprise. It kept me interested throughout the story and I needed to see what was going to happen. I truly enjoyed the pacing of the story and the well-written characters.

I think this was a bad translation. The writing was so awkward! I couldn't really get into the story because of the writing.

This book was a difficult one for me.

I didn't particularly like either of the main characters, the plot didn't seem to move anywhere, and the language was stilted and awkward. I didn't realize until after I finished that it was translated from Italian to English, which may explain why the writing did not flow well.

Thank you NetGalley and Publisher for this early copy,

This sadly was a DNF for me. I could not connect with the writing style.

A lot heavier than I anticipated. Really sweet though and well written. Good summer read for anyone that likes this type of book.

Unfortunately, this book just didn't do it for me. I'm giving it two stars because I did like the writing style and found the idea of the plot interesting. I found the lack of trust and some dialogue (internal and external) to be quite childish for a couple who are engaged. This is a book I had to force myself to finish and I don't mean that in a bad way, I just personally couldn't get into it - so I really hope anyone reading this does give this book a chance.

I have not written this author off though and will try another book of hers in the future.

Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

Huh, I can't believe that I read the whole book, I kept telling myself it will get better it has to, and would stop and convinced myself read it, it will get better, welllllll it didn't. One of the descriptions of this book said it was a hilarious love story again they lied, it wasn't funny and I didn't to really be a love story, I think the only thing I agreed with in the description is happy ending and I guess you could say they had that but will they keep it, well I honestly could tell you that I couldn't care less and wouldn't read another book this was ridiculous. So I guess this was a follow up with some of the things they mentioned in story and normally I would read that book also but I can really tell you that nope I will not give this series another minute. So Sara and Daniel have a relationship but they are both unsure of their fidelity, I think that is how I can describe this, they are constantly saying or thinking that they don't want to lose each other and how much they love one another, but there was not trust. Sara was afraid that his attention might be on someone else when they spent time apart and he was thinking the same thing, so I ask how can you possibly get married if there that lack of trust and fear all the time, you can't you wont be happy..But again I couldn't care less, I am definitely off of this train..Sorry folks but I do not recommend.

Today was the first day Sara had the engagement ring on that Daniel gave her. First Sara is going to make Gina some cookies. Gina was a little nosy but Sara had a soft spot for Gina and Gina would be spending another Christmas alone and sad and no one should have to do that. When her sister - Virginia- got up Susan started packing her suitcase as Sara and Daniel were going to spend Christmas with Sara’s family for a couple of days and meet with Daniel’s mom after. Sara was the organized type and liked everything in control and often did things in advance. Lia was Sara’s closest friend. Daniel was a very well known model. Sara got stuck in the elevator in Lia’s condo complex and she calls Daniel and he was at a club -The Mistress- at a Christmas party. Daniel’s presence makes everything else in Sara’s world fade away and seem unimportant. Daniel and Sara could always seem to be able to find each other when they are apart their connection is that strong. They did when she finally got to the party in the club. Daniel loved being the center of attention whereas Sara hated being the center of attention as it made her uncomfortable. Then Daniel’s friend Jim who was a photographer for Inside Look magazine told Daniel and Sara he would love to do a shot of them together Sara agreed as she had to get used to that sort of thing as she was to marry Daniel. Daniel had never believed in true love after seeing his parents but Sara made him rethink a lot of things.
I loved this book It was a romantic Cinderella type of story. This was a fun easy quick read. I loved Daniel and Sara together, I loved how they were soulmates and worked out what they had to. I loved how Sara was with her family. Daniel is now another book boyfriend of mine and who wouldn’t love him? I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend.

I wasn't crazy about this one, unfortunately.

I think it might have made more sense if I'd read the first book in the series, when I believe the two main characters met and got together. As it is, we're just told that Sara and Daniel are perfect for each other, so in love, etc, but not really shown it. It was difficult to care.

It's really not much of a plot either. Unfortunately, I'd give this one a miss.

Many thanks to Netgalley, the author, and the publisher for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

Sophie Kinsella and Lindsey Kelk are my favourite go-to authors for a fluffy and funny romance novel, so I will admit I had great expectations going in. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with this one. All I Want Is You lacked humour and charm, the writing wasn't very compelling, and it took a long time for something to sort of happen. Sara and Daniel aren't interesting characters and their relationship isn't very convincing. They don't really have a personality besides being hopelessly in love with each other and their job description (i.e. quirky tour guide and hot model). The first third of the novel was mostly reiterating the big issue in their relationship and introducing some unimportant minor characters. It's not until the halfway mark when we are finally introduced to Giovanni (who is supposed to be a part of the main plot), but even after we meet him, nothing really happens with him right away. I tried to keep reading because I was mildly interested in Virginia and Alessandro. They actually seemed like they had personalities compared to Sara and Daniel. However, the lack of excitement, boring main characters, forced dialogue, and repetitive conversations made me stop reading.

I like the first book better but I think you could read this as a standalone. Sara and Daniel are going through growing pains in their relationship, largely, I think, because they are both immature. The addition of Giovanni into the mix makes things worse for both of them. He's an interesting foil but doesn't feel quite real. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. This is very light reading.

I'm just unsure of where to begin...the story was just okay. I felt no spark, no enthusiasm. I really thought it would have picked up maybe after 20% but alas it did not, I was left wanting more - not in a can't get enough state but just had higher expectations from the blurb.

The setting and dialogue was okay but something felt lacking.

Mar puts a different spin on this romantic novel--the story of Sara De Michele and Daniel Gant isn't the beginning of their love story but the middle. How couple need compromise and trust to grow as a couple. The storyline was not what I expected. My expectations were of the couple runs into a few hiccups--they break up and get back together. Instead Sara and Daniel are madly in love with each other. The conflict of the story is they are so madly in love that it blinds them and feeds their insecurities especially for Sara since Daniel is a highly sought after male model with the media and Hollywood knocking on his door.

Another surprise for the reader is Daniel is just as much if not more insecure about himself and his relationship as Sarah is. His cousin enters the scene at the height of Daniel's insecurities and when Daniel has to leave for a meeting in Hollywood. The media adds to both Sara and Daniel's insecurities when Daniel is photographed at a party with a Hollywood actress. Of course, the quirky sister and best friend also assist the duo with finding their true passion and reminding both Sara and Daniel what they each want--each other.

I love the premise behind All I Want Is You. I was so excited to read this, but that excitement would quickly dissipate. Sara was, at times, very difficult to follow. The POV’s tended to shift without any clear transition. I often found myself having to re-read parts and take breaks. Again, I really love the idea behind the story, but the execution just wasn’t there and found that I couldn’t finish the book. I will likely go back to it as I can’t stand to leave a book unread, but I need a break before doing so.

This book would've been better if written by Donald Trump. He should just quit being the president and start writing "Will they ever be able to make it despite the odds?"

I was literally hypnotized by the colors of the cover. Seriously, can we take a minute to admire how vivid and Valentino that cover design is?

I've never read Lindsey Kelk and I pretty much hate Kinsella (the human proclaimer of female idiocracy under the pretense of being "giggly" or forever drunk) but the premise of this book sounded like maybe there could be something.

From now on the words "hilarious love story" will be code for chick lit, that's most likely more desperately trying to be something bigger than it is.

But thank you NetGalley for this copy in exchange for my honest review.

All I Want is You,  Patricia Mar

Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews

Genre: General Fiction (Adult), Romance

I thought I'd love this, but found that it a bit disappointing.
Set in Rome I'd have like to have fell more of that, to me it could have been anywhere, and yet that part could have added so much romance to the atmosphere. Apart from her Tour job there was little to make Rome stand out.

I expected to sympathise with Sara, instead I didn't like her most of the while, she seemed “woe is me” constantly, and was always looking for ways to see that Daniel was playing her.
He was sweet about that, kept telling her he loved her for herself, didn't want all the models etc, the people that just wanted to be seen with him, just wanted her for himself. Yet she seemed to disbelieve him the second he left the room....I wanted to say “c'mon girl, enough whining now, appreciate what you have instead of looking for ways to tear it down.”
I did feel for her over some issues, I would find it hard to remain “its just a job” when someone had their hands all over my almost naked boyfriend – it did make me wonder just what he was modeling for, seemed a bit OTT for usual stuff.

I didn't feel that much of a connection between the two and I guess that coloured my enjoyment, I love to feel that sizzle between a couple and here it was just missing. I hate too when a book is described as “laugh out loud/hilarious/side splitting” etc. Please publicists, just don't do it. Its a let down, this had some genuine humorous moments, but as I often feel too many episodes felt forced.

Stars: Three, its a cute read, one I thought I'd love but which proved to be not quite right for me.

This is Daniel and Sara book, Daniel is a top fashion model and Sara to me just seemed to freak out about everything?! She was so worried Daniel was going to cheat or do whatever she was spastic i do she was just so over the top to me that this really wasn't my kind of book? Daniel was very romantic and loved her to death but this whole book was just a little different and weird to me? I mean definitely read it yourself you might enjoy i just didn't sorry thank you NetGalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!
