This book had a promising premise and completely sucked me in., However, I found the hero to be completely nonsensical and annoying. How can you be imprisoned against your will for years, in chains, escape, and then want to tell no one of what you endured? Don’t you think someone may be coming for you?? I also hated how he would leave the heroine hanging in absolute sexual frustration with no explanation. Especially after seeing that someone had been feeding off her. What???? Who does that?? Do you not think she could be in danger or that it might be related to you? I couldn’t wait to finish these books and will likely not be continuing this series.

Vampire novels are not normally for me but I enjoyed this one. What chemistry between Erin and Dante! There are many twists and turns and it kept me engaged. Thanks to Waterhouse Press and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.
