When I got this book, I did not realize it was a series. The book itself was good and I liked the story. There were twists and turns and suspense. Great villian, likable characters, good writing.

This series is a little different than most in the fact that the story has carried over from the first book but yet the main characters have changed. Ideally the series is best enjoyed starting from the beginning to get the ongoing story. I unfortunately didn't read the first of the series.

I loved the characters and the storyline development of this book. It was absolutely one of my favorites so far and I can't wait to delve in to the next one that this author writes. The storyline was simple, enjoyable, and entertaining.

Rita Herron is slowly winning my heart with this suspenseful series. It is filled to the brim with suspense, a bit of blood, strong women fighting back, and enough romance/sweet sexual tension to keep it interesting.

A thrilling read that will keep you on the edge of your seat constantly anticipating what will happen next.

This is a great suspenseful story following Tinsley, who is escaped from a serial killer. She hides away in a little cottage, too terrified to go anywhere. Once her friend disappears from the online support group they both use, she realizes the Skull may be closer to her than she thinks.
If you haven’t read the first book, Pretty Little Killers, read that one first to get an introduction to the reoccurring plot lines and characters.

If it weren't for the romance, this would have worked a lot better for me. It just seems so out of place. I can completely believe this woman secluding herself away, thinking if she hides in a sleepy little town almost no one has heard of, she'll be okay. I don't buy the FBI agent falling in love with her. It's just creepy and doesn't work.
And of course, hiding away doesn't work - if it did, there wouldn't be a story/book. And serial killers do fixate, so it's believable from that aspect as well too; a real serial killer (well, some of them) would absolutely act that way and want to "finish the job" as it were.

The creep factor was definitely present in this read about a serial killer . If I was to rate this based solely on the suspense level, this would have rated a bit higher; but what didn't work for me was the romance between Tinsley and Wyatt. I felt it needed more page time to mature. Considering how traumatized Tinsley was, it didn't seem real to me that she could develop a relationship so quickly. Either way, this was the second book in this series and I will be reading the third.

A thrilling read from start to finish. I enjoyed the characters and the suspense.

A couple of things raised my eyebrows a little bit.

The night Tinsley was kidnapped she parked two blocks away from her destination and behind an abandoned warehouse.
Tinsley is very traumatised, agoraphobic and afraid to leave her home after months in captivity and being repeatedly raped however as soon as 'The Skull' is killed she is magically cured and jumps straight into bed with Wyatt and has no hangups about it whatsoever. There wasn't much of a build up in romance between the pair before this and the sex scene sort of came out of the blue.

I will continue with the series but I probably won't read the first book as there were plot spoilers in this one and I already know how it ends.

Good Little Girls was a fantastic read with an intriguing suspense plot and a wonderful slow burn romance.

Tinsley Jensen barely survived her capture by the masked killer known as the Skull only to live in fear of when he would return for her. Unable to leave her cottage on Seahawk Island, Tinsley turns to an online support group for comfort. But when Tinsley begins to receive threats that make it clear the Skull is back, the one person she can turn to is Wyatt Camden, the FBI agent who rescued her. After one of her friends disappears at the hands of the Skull, Tinsley is forced to face what happened to her if they’re going to save her in time.

Tinsley has dealt with extreme anxiety and agoraphobia since her kidnapping by the Skull the previous year. She wants to be stronger and take control of her life again but simply doesn’t know how to do so with the threat of her attacker still being out there. The one person who she can feel safe with is Wyatt and she relies on him quite a bit after the vigilante killer in Pretty Little Killers pulled her into the spotlight again.

Wyatt gives everything he has for his job and struggles with how to have more in his life when he feels he needs to focus on the work he does. He feels a lot of guilt over not saving Tinsley before she endured so much at the hands of her kidnapper. Despite the fact he almost died during her rescue, he feels like he should have done more.

Tinsley and Wyatt have a slow burn romance that takes most of the book to come to pass. I loved watching them slowly fall for each other despite their walls and without realizing the other one was feeling the same way. While I generally like my romances explicit with frequent sex scenes, there’s something to be said about watching two people fall for each other with little to no physical contact. At the end of the book though we do get one fantastic scene between the two of them and I absolutely loved it.

The plot with the Skull was really interesting and I enjoyed learning his backstory and how he chose Tinsley. Hearing what he did to Tinsley was incredibly difficult, so fair warning to those who have difficulty reading about rape and sexual assault. He’s definitely messed up and I found myself rooting for the Keepers to take him out and enact justice. The Keepers definitely played a smaller role in this book than the first one, but they were still there lurking in the background intent on enacting justice. There are a few threads left open in this book that I’m curious to see where they’ll go if there are more books in the series.

Good Little Girls was just as good as the first book in The Keepers series and I hope there will be more books coming out in the series in the future. I highly recommend this series if you’re in the mood for some great romantic suspense.

This is the second book in the keepers series and if you haven't read the first book Pretty Little Killers, I recommend you do, so that you meet the characters.

I love this series!!!! The characters, both main and secondary are awesome and easy to fall in love with or love to hate.

There is something for everyone! Murder, Rape, Torture, sex, hair pulling, screaming, stalking, animal rescues, and love.

I've been a Rita Herron fan for years, and if you haven't read one of her books you are truly missing out on some great adventures.

Wow, I have never read this author before but I can tell you I will read her again for sure! This was such an amazingly intense book that I didn’t want to put it down! If you have never read anything written by Rite Herron I highly recommend that you do. Thanks Rita, great book

I nearly DNF’d GOOD LITTLE GIRLS ~50% of the way in, then got stuck at the airport for an extra 2 hours and decided I’d invested enough time in the novel already to put it aside in favour of another book. It’s not that GOOD LITTLE GIRLS is bad per se, it’s just incredibly underwhelming for something that should’ve been a white-knuckle thrill ride from start to finish. I’d read the first novel (and, admittedly, disliked both hero and heroine immensely-- but liked Wyatt and Tinsley much more) so long ago that the interconnectedness between the two books was problematic (the first wasn’t sufficiently memorable for me to remember the plot 6 months later), and there was much more telling than showing. I largely yawned my way through this book, which is not something you want for romantic suspense. I’m only 1-for-3 on liking Rita Herron books, so I think I’m done with this author for now.

I read this book in a few sittings, I found it very compulsive reading It is the second in a series (The Keepers) but it reads well as a stand alone book as well - I haven't actually read the first, but this has compelled me to read more by the author Rita Herron. I found the premise of the Keepers interesting, so am intrigued to find out how that story is developed in the next book. An enjoyable thriller.

Tinsley is sick and tired of hiding. She wants to be part of the world again – to live instead of exist. However, because of her traumatic past, she has PTSD and anxiety so severe that just thinking about leaving her house sends her into panic attacks. She has a few ways to contact the outside world, but even with those, the sacrifices that she's had to make in order to feel secure are too much.

Wyatt was there when Tinsley was rescued. She haunts him. Despite knowing her past and seeing her scars, he believes that she's the bravest person he's ever met. He sees her – not the scars or her trauma, but her.

Wyatt and Tinsley's characters are complex and written very well. There is a chemistry to them that you cannot believe and it's not only a sexual tension but an admiration between them. I liked how their characters were there for each other – to lean on and support.

Tinsley is in for the fight of her life and Wyatt wants to be there to help her along the way. When the Skull returns, people will come out of the story as a hero, villains, and would be meddlers. It's a great story with even more wonderful twists. I can't wait to see what comes next!

Good Little Girls is book #2 in The Keepers series. It story can’t really be read as a standalone and I’d recommend that you read Pretty Little Killers, which book #1 in this series, before commencing Good Little Girls.

After escaping a serial killer known as The Skull, Tinsley is living her life in a tiny cabin by the beach that she never leaves. She has cut off most contact with the world as she waits for the killer to return for her, as he promised to do. FBI agent Wyatt Camden nearly died saving Tinsley once before and he is determined to catch her abductor.

Between the discovery of human remains on the beach which are all missing their heads, The Keepers taking up where the killer in the first book left off, and the search for The Skull, there is a lot going on. The stories are woven together well, and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the how each of the events link together and following the different leads. This process is really helped along by the author giving the points of view of different players in the story. But the crimes covered in this story are not for the faint hearted, it is pretty unpleasant at times.

While crime solving is the primary story, we also have a secondary story of the evolving relationship between Wyatt and Tinsley. I had no trouble connecting with Wyatt as he tried to solve the crimes, but it took me a little time to warm up to Tinsley. She initially felt a little dim to me but given when she had been through with The Skull, I was being unfair to her and honestly, in the end, I think I liked her simply because Wyatt did. The romance is a nice soft contrast to the harshness of the crime story, which includes murder, rape, and animal cruelty.

If you’re a romantic suspense fan this is an engaging series well worth reading. At the end of Good Little Girls the author gives us an epilogue that will no doubt lead into the next book in the series, which I’m looking forward to reading.

What a great book! I thoroughly enjoyed this new exciting book by Ms. Herron. The characters are intriguing, the plot is gripping. I always know I'm in for a treat with one of Ms. Herron's romantic thrillers.

If you are looking for a book that will grab you from the first page and keep you held in its thrall until the last word, then you will love Good Little Girls. I highly recommend this excellent book. Happy reading!

4.5 Stars Great read, I loved Good Little Girls the storyline is well developed and the characters interaction is amazing. Strong women, suspense, action, revenge and enough romance to entice. This book had me at the first chapter and kept me compelled to keep reading throughout. I highly recommend if you haven’t read this series you pick it up.

Interesting mystery with enough twists to keep the reader's attention. The best part of this series is the continuation of characters. Can be read as a standalone, but it is better if you have read the first book. The Keepers are intriguing and make you question your own sense of right and wrong. This is a unique look at vigilante justice. lots of secrets are being slowly revealed and I can't wait to see what comes next.

The perfect mix of suspense and romance! You'll find yourself unable to put this book down, constantly wanting to read more about skull and his twisted reality. But then you're dying to read how/if things could work out between Tinsley and Wyatt.

The Keepers is a very interesting piece of this book. I can't wait to read their next target!
