Elizabeth decides her daughter should get to know her father. They have been separated for many years after Elizabeth and her daughter return to their homeland. She returns to Abidjan and meets her husband Mendi. Strangely, he has booked them into a hotel and says she can’t stay with him as he is having his place renovated, but is vague about where he is staying. He has arranged a trip for the three of them, but Elizabeth soon discovers he has not changed, he is as difficult as ever and Juliette does not like him much. The story gets more interesting, but seems jagged, that is, it doesn’t flow smoothly.
