This was an interesting collection of famous people and their stories of how they found success. It was an uplifting book outlining the struggles, sacrifices and frustrations experienced on the road to eventual success. A great book to use as a taster prior to more in-depth reading of each persons life.

Fantastic Failures is a great book with mini biographies on people who demonstrated grit and experienced success after failure. This would be ideal for older children as it's quite lengthy. I found it quite inspiring!

Some of the stories I was familiar with, but it doesn’t hurt to hear again. We need to know it is okay to fail but not give up. So many people are becoming perfectionists but forgetting the importance of learning from mistakes and failures. Great format to remind them.
