First let me say I love this authors paranormal romance shifter books and have read them all.

These Badger sisters are beautiful, enduring, vicious, funny, attentive, dangerous and passionate.

I loved the first book when Charlie the eldest sister ended up living in a neighborhood full of bears. Stevie is a hybrid part honey badger shifter prodigy with a panic disorder and Shen a happy go lucky giant panda shifter bodyguard. I've only got to read an excerpt from the book, the first chapter but it is good and has me wanting the whole book now!

The Honey Badgers are back! When I realized that this was Shen and Stevie's story, I was so excited. These two seemed to connect in Hot and Badgered and I was hoping they would be the next couple in the series. In a Badger Way Stevie's having one of her infamous meltdowns and is up to Shen to save the neighborhood, and for that matter, the world from little Stevie.
Although this is just a teaser, I can already tell that this is going to be one exciting ride. I'm impatiently waiting for the book in it's entirety so that I can see how Shen, the laid back Panda, handles the spitfire that Stevie can be. This was a great start to what I can only assume will be a wild and hilariously fun adventure with just the right touch of made for each other chemistry for Stevie and Shen.

I can’t to read In a Badger Way because I love anything Shelly Laurenston writes!

This was great excerpt. I just wish there was more! I can't wait for the full book. There isn't really enough to give good thorough review. I really did enjoy what I did get to read. Ms. Laurenston always pleases. I have read and listened to her book many times.

You know when you have a favorite artist and it's been a while since they've released anything. The moment you see something new is coming out you're like that kid who's just walked downstairs and seen all the presents that Santa brought. The wonder and excitement are so much, you feel like you're going to explode. That's how I felt with this book. Shelly Laurenston has this ability to weave incredible stories and I could not wait to start reading this newest book.

In a Badger Way had me laughing from the first page. The characters, wit, and humor that Ms. Laurenston has throughout this book were phenomenal. I absolutely loved Stevie and neurotic behavior. The plot was interesting and an attention grabber. The interaction between the characters priceless. Ms. Laurenston keeps the story flowing and the reader easily entertained.

So as that kid who has gotten everything on my Christmas wish list, In a Badger Way is a wonderfully entertaining book that I will continuously pull out and read over and over again. Thank you, Ms. Laurenston for another great book!

In a Badger Way is the second book in the Honey Badger Chronicles series. This review is only for the chapter preview of the book. No stars being given at this time as I can't assess that with only a chapter. This is Shen and Stevie's story. From what I read, it seems like a great start to the book. I've read almost every if not every book from this author. She's one of my go to grabs. The one thing I enjoy is the humor and the preview doesn't lack! My only complaint is there is still a long wait for the rest of the book! I really enjoyed the start of the book and can't wait to see where the Stevie and Shen story goes!

Got to read the preview early-so this review is based on that for now! I love how it started and showed how the sisters are from a different point of view than the first book. I especially love how it showed Stevie might actually have reasons to be paranoid. But I especially loved how it showed us that no matter what these sisters will always have each other's backs! I had been hoping for a story about Shen for a while but I wasn't sure about Stevie being the match for him! After the preview, I can definitely see how they could work! As usual it has the humor the other books are known for and definitely makes me want to read the full book! Now that I have read this portion I am impatient for the full thing! A great little tease!

Lol!!!! This is just an excerpt and WOW! I'm sooooooo in love with Shen, our resident Panda Bear. I can't believe it! Laurenston paired one of the MacKilligan sisters, Stevie MacKilligan,with my Panda (waaaaaaaa,crying). Lol. However, I am freaking happy for Shen. I have been waiting furrrrevvveeerrr for him to get his story. The beautiful,very strong, silent, eating bamboo all day Shen. (sigh, cue feelings). In this brief excerpt, we get a flashback of the sisters and how Stevie came to be the way she is, at least part of the reason anyway, Lol..
Fast-forward a decade or so later, and Stevie is freaking out because there are bears in her home. Yep, her badger shifter self does not do bears, in her immediate vicinity at all! Lol. So Shen along with our jackal shifter, prodigal, sarcastic loving Kyle Jean-Louis Parker (iI do so love that young man) try to abate her panic as she tries to burrow through the cabinet in order to escape. Hahahahahahahaha....so awesomely funny. I cannot wait for the full book....

Can I have the rest of the book now please! I have loved every Shelly Laurenston book that I've ever read (and I've read them all), and this pre-view gives me no reason to think that this one will be any different.

I love love love Shelly Laurenston and every character in her shifter series. That being said - Stevie really annoyed in this short little tidbit. I liked in Charlie's book but for some reason her mania really got on my nerves. Fingers crossed I grow to love her as this books goes on! Still definitely going to buy it when it's released in March.

I received a prologue and first chapter, I am not sure why they bother as no one can give a fair review on that small sample. It is actually the same sample as in the back of her latest paperback. So not really new info. It sounds great and I think her can base with love it! You gotta love honey badgers. For this small snippet, I rate a 3, as it was just frustrating!

I love the excerpt of this book. I don’t normally like shifter books but The characters of Stevie and Shen Li jumped right off the page and kept me engaged. There was quite a bit of action in the excerpt. I can’t wait to read the entire book! Thanks to Kensington Books and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

I absolutely adored Hot and Badgered ( Honey Badger Chronicles #1). The MacKilligan sisters are family goals and its so entertaining to see what situations they have to get out of. In A Badger Way is going to be Stevie's story and I'm thrilled to see more from her point of view. There's never a dull moment around the MacKilligan's!!

This was provided to me by NetGalley for an honest review. Unfortunately for me, I did not look closely enough to the description of what I was reading until afterwards, so I was extremely surprised when the chapter just ended and there weren't anymore words..... Then, I went back and looked, and realized that I was only receiving the prologue and the first chapter of Shelly Laurenston's new book. That was a disappointment. But, I will say this. What I did read was great. I enjoyed the first book in this series - enough that it made me actually laugh out loud while I was reading parts of it - so I was really looking forward to part 2. What the prologue and the first chapter did do was set up the story - enough to give a brief look back at the sister's childhood and a quick snapshot showing us that Stevie is going to be the star of this new book. Now, how Stevie and Shen are going to get together, based on that brief snapshot, is going to be interesting because that is NOT in the peak that was given.

So.....I'm still looking forward to part 2 - now more than ever because it will be extremely interesting to see how she brings the genius and the panda together!

I love these badgers they are sassy and take no nonsense from anyone. The storyline was brilliant and I really could connect with the characters in it. I hope that the rest of the series is as good as this book and its predecessor.

This review is for a preview of the first chapter only of IN A BADGER WAY. Readers who have read the first in the series, HOT AND BADGERED, know they are in for a treat. Stevie, the youngest of the three MacKilligan sisters and potentially the most volatile and dangerous, is the focus of this book. She is a genius in science and music. As a prodigy, Stevie has already lead a strange life and although one of the finest minds on the planet, she has panic disorders issues.

Shen Li is a giant panda bodyguard to another shifter prodigy who is a friend of the sisters, and so has come into Stevie's orbit. In this first chapter readers are introduced quickly to Stevie's volatility and quirky mind. Shen is not interested in riding herd over her; but it looks as if he and Stevie are about to have quite an adventure.

Ms. Laurenston has a fine hand at writing shifter humor, action, and adventure. I am really looking forward to this next story to see how it all plays out.
