She can’t remember who she is,
but she likes who she’s become when she’s with him…
Jennifer needs a break. The perfectionist TV star heads to a mountain retreat for a restful, relaxing holiday. But when she gets caught in a blizzard and crashes her car, Jennifer is left with more than a wreck; she’s left with amnesia.
John, a small-town veterinarian and single dad, finds the confused Jennifer wandering on the road. He’s used to taking care of others; he’s built for this. When he takes her in, he and his children give her more than shelter…they try to help her figure out who she is.
As Jennifer and John make new memories, their connection to one another grows. But how can they even think about romance when they don’t know her true identity?

I didn't care for the MC.
I'm a total sucker for small-town romances and A Christmas to Remember did not disappoint. I really enjoyed the relationship between Jennifer and John.
What a fun book! I had never heard of this author before but I'm so glad that I had the chance to read it. I will definitely be reading more from this author. I love the Christmas theme!
Great heartwarming story. I love stories with kids who add fun and excitement. Jennifer and Ryan can't help but fall in love in this must read romance. #achristmastoremember #netgalley

If you love Hallmark Christmas movies then this is a must read. It is a feel good book. Jennifer doesn't remember her name or have any memories of her life. John and his kids take her in and start falling for her as she does for their family. As they make new memories she helps heal John's family. I loved the characters in this book and all the Christmas memories in it.
Perfectionist Jennifer Wade, a New York-based Martha Stewart style host of a lifestyle show, finds herself seeking a little solitude after she pulls off an incredibly challenging holiday episode of her show. With only a few days left until Christmas, she accepts her agent/best friend Paula’s offer to use her winter cottage in Colorado.
The story really gets going when Jennifer lands in Colorado and insists on a vehicle not quite weather worthy. When her phone loses service and her GPS app is useless, Jennifer momentarily glances down at her phone and ends up in a snow embankment. Driving back from visiting a patient of the furry variety, Dr. John Blake, the local veterinarian (he’s also widower - cue romantic interest), and his son find a very disoriented Jennifer standing in the middle of the road.
When Jennifer can’t remember her name or why she’s in Colorado, Dr. Blake brings her back to his house right before a huge snowstorm hits and introduces her to his family. Together, they try to help Jennifer – now renamed Maggie by the children – figure out who she really is. The story may be a touch outlandish, for example, Jennifer remembers nothing about her life, including her name, yet by memory can whip up a five-course meal, but the story is also heartwarming and touching. There’s a barely boyfriend named Brad from New York and a local honey thrown in as romantic complications, but at the core, this is a sweet holiday romance.
I’m a huge fan of Hallmark’s Christmas programming and I’m finding their line of books to be even better than the movies. A Christmas to Remember is one of the few recent Hallmark Christmas movies that I haven’t actually seen, so I was able to dive into the book with an entirely clean slate. I was really excited to get a complimentary digital copy of this book from NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing to review, especially since I just read Christmas in Evergreen by Nancy Naigle last month and absolutely loved it!
Amazing read. Jennifer Wade hostess of a TV cooking show becomes over whelmed and needs break, her friend sends her to Colorado to a cabin for vacation. She never makes it to cabin as she gets in a wreck in snow storm. A lonely grieving widower and his son pick her up. She has no memory, has no idea who she is . She stays with the family for a week. I will not give details what happens that time but its good.
I recommend this for sure.
This is another feel good Christmas story based on a Hallmark Channel Original Movie.
The story follows a stressed out perfectionist of a tv show host Jennifer Wade. Her talent agent insists she take some time off during the Christmas holidays to unwind and offers her the use of the agent’s own chalet in Aspen. Jennifer somewhat reluctantly agrees and leaves NYC behind for the blustery weather of the Colorado mountains. Of course, there’s a snowstorm, a car wreck, and loss of memory that finds Jennifer sheltered in the home of widower John, who happens to be the town vet.
With the kind help of John, his children, and others in the small town Jennifer begins to make new memories and eventually realizes who she was before she ended up lying on the road in the middle of nowhere.
This is a story about second chances. It’s a story about the bonds of family. It’s a story about kindness. And yes, it’s a story about happily-ever-after.
The story was solid despite the choppy text. Characters were believable, except for one of the secondary characters, Brooke (who in the end ended up helping Jennifer recall her real name). She was a bit over the top, not in a good way, and quite desperate to be with John.
I received an ecopy from the publisher through NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own.
What can be said about Hallmark Christmas stories, but absolutely beautiful, heart warming, and delightful!! As with their movies, the books are a perfect way to immerse yourself in the world again and again. I loved this story as much as the movie, which adds a bit more to the story while keeping it true to the movie. A Christmas to Remember is a wonderful way to begin the holiday season.
“A Christmas to Remember” is an endearing story about a divorced woman and a widower with three kids. Jennifer Wade, a DIY Homestyle show hostess, takes a much needed break from work during the Christmas holiday season. She travels to Colorado where she ends up in an accident and loses her memory. John Blake, a Veterinarian, stumbles across a disoriented Jennifer and takes her in to help her. It is a well-written story that makes for a fun, easy read. The story flows, and every detail moves the storyline forward. We, as the reader, get the point-of-view from three different characters in the story, which gives the reader a unique insight from their inner thoughts and feelings of these characters.
A Christmas to Remember is a cute Christmas love story. Jennifer, a perfectionist who becomes overwhelmed with her job responsibilities takes a vacation. On the way to her mountain getaway destination she’s in an accident and when found by John she has amnesia. Jennifer/Maggie falls in love with not only the quaint and charming small town but also John and his children. John is trying to be the best father he can since his wife’s death but his children lack a female in their lives. Jennifer/Maggie slips right into that role as she works to bring the Christmas spirit back to the family. The children not only find themselves falling in love with Jennifer/Maggie but so does John. And the feeling is mutual. A Hallmark Christmas movie that you will want to watch. I found the book to be very close to the movie.
Great story with intriguing characters. Loved the setting and the plot. A definite must read. Great beach story
Good premise. She gets to just be and enjoy life's simple treasures. Sometimes you should forget who you are to find out who you really are! Good characters and story flow. Really enjoyed this book. Would recommend!
I wanted to try out a Hallmark inspired novel since I have watched most of their movies. A Christmas to Remember is cute and it is definitely similar to the movie. My main problem was there was a LOT and I mean a LOT of telling... which made the reading a little more tedious. And like most Hallmark movies, it is wholesome and touching but when reading a book, I need at least some suspense, mystery, drama or something. I would encourage Hallmark publishing to strive for helping their writers with show and getting into the senses during the scenes. It will help with the element of needed tension and drama.
Always enjoy the hallmark books. We get to see extras that the movie does not give. Thank you Hallmark.
Jennifer is a well known chef with a hit tv show. She seemingly has it all but she hasn't ever had the one thing she wanted most which was a family. She is all alone. Her friend/manager set her uo with a guy but they are only together because it is mutually beneficial fire their careers.
Overtired and stressed, Jennifer jumps at a chance to go to Colorado over the holidays and use a friend's cabin. Unfortunately Jennifer doesn't understand mountain driving and crashes her sports car in a blizzard. She is found by the local vet and his son.
John lost his wife several years ago. He has struggled to be there for his kids but he deeply misses his wife/partner. It was s the holidays but John feels like he's just going through the motions. He wonders if he'll ever be able to find joy again.
Jennifer and John are two lost souls looking for someone to love. Will they find what they are looking for?
This is a sweet story. I highly recommend it.
We meet Jennifer Wade getting ready to record the Christmas special on her popular weekly show Homestyle with Jennifer Wade on the Kitchen Network. While at a Christmas party with her boyfriend Brad hosted by her friend and agent Paula Marshall, Jennifer is sent off to North Creek, Colorado for some needed R&R. She feels that Brad is not her ideal even though he feels that they would make a great power couple.
Dr. John Blake is a veterinarian living in North Creek with his children and a dog. He recently lost his wife and his friends are trying to get him back into the dating scene. His best friend Dan Daniels stops by and they hang out.
As Jennifer drives her rental from the airport to Paula's cabin, she gets lost since there is no reception. She checks her phone, but then ends up missing a turn ending up off the edge of the road and down an embankment. John and his son are on their way home from a home visit when they see someone in the middle of the road. They stop their car and get her inside to take her home. Only problem is that she does not remember anything about herself. John and Jennifer must figure out her identity while sorting out their own lives and feelings.
Rebecca Moesta writes a very feel good story. You get to experience the what ifs in this story and how Jennifer reacts to her situation without the pressures of her life. It is a sweet story with characters and situations you would relate to and want to have in your life. I enjoyed the simplicity of life and look forward to seeing it on the small screen.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I would like to thank NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing for this privilege.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
What a delightfully charming story. This is my second book that is based on a Hallmark Channel movie and I just loved it. It was a clean, wholesome romance. It had a wonderful story that touched my heart. I loved all of the characters. I was so sad to see the book end. It was beautifully written with dual POVs (which I love). The emotion and thoughts of the characters really came though. I now have to see the movie!!!
If you are looking for a great romance book that has a wonderful story to tell, then look no further. A bonus is that it is a Christmas story. YAY!
