I really tried to read this book. I read it until chapter 5 and it just couldn't keep me interested. I'm really sorry because I usually love Rock star books

I usually love books about band members, and this one could have been so much better.

It wasn´t a bad book, but it didn´t grow to its full potential.

Landon just gave me hives with his childishness. He was so weak, never capable to man up own his own.

And always blaming Piper for his problems. Oh, she doesn´t want me so I´m going to bury myself in drugs. Oh, she doesn´t want me, so nothing else matters.

I like the book full of angst as much as the girl next door, but sometimes its angsty feel forced and completely unnecessary.

Go on by yourself Piper, you deserve better.

What is better than a book that contains a second chance, hot steamy romance, and hot rockers. All this and more from Tara Leigh in her second Nothing But Trouble book, Rock Legend.
Piper and Landon reconnect after years. Landon is focused on his career and will let nothing get in his way and Piper means too much him to give Piper a hope for the future. Piper needs forever. A five star read and highly recommend it!

To the woman who has reignited my love for rock star romances, Tara Leigh, Thank you!

Two books down and the series will forever be one of my favourite series capturing the joy, the struggles, the privileges and the dreams of being in the limelight. Doesn’t hurt that the Rock Stars in this series are Rock God’s and Rock Legend’s… and the women are strong, independent and most definitely NOT cookie cutter.

Langdon and Piper’s story was a joy to read. It was frustrating, blissful, heartbreaking and beautiful.
Langdon Cox, Ladies and Gentlemen! Langdon will make even the most cynical woman’s heart melt…his words people! The words that comes out of this man’s lips will make the romantic in you sigh with utter blissful contentment.
Piper…I loved her. I love her sense of being…her aura, her work ethic, her dedication. She is imperfectly perfect.

I loved the fact that Tara has written a romance novel with such beauty! As cliché as it sounds, my copy of the book has so many highlighted sections…each words better than the next: every promise, every fear, every struggle, every memory… it’s etched into the heart of THIS romantic soul.

Now, The BIGGEST question is, when is book 3 coming out? hahaha

Landon wasn't always a "rock god" in a popular band. Before he became famous he and Piper dreamed of a future together. But in order to make it big Landon had to leave Piper behind and he's never forgotten her. Piper hasn't forgotten how Landon left without saying goodbye and broke her heart. Seeing him after so many years apart has her all torn up. I loved this second chance at love rock band romance!

Review Rock Legend is book 2 in the Nothing But Trouble series. In this one we see the story of Landon and Piper. If you had read book 1 you got a glimpse into these characters. I absolutely loved this book. There is a lot going on but all intertwined. We see how struggling with one self can derail your whole life. The plot of the book kept my attention. Once i started reading i did not put the book down until I finished. I give this book a 5 starvrating! Would definitely recommend.

A heartfelt and impactful rock star romance! Landon and Piper both have their issues and a tendency towards walking away when things get tough, so there's quite a bit of drama to their story, but I only rolled my eyes a few times. For the most part, Rock Legend is a well-paced story with great secondary characters and plotlines (love me some dogs!) and plenty of steam.

This is the second book in a series about the band members of Nothing but Trouble. This second chance romance was full of ups and downs. I'm always interested to see how the book will proceed when huge life-changing events happen to the main characters right in the beginning. Is it going to be them just dealing with those events the rest of the book? Will another life-changing event happen? How will this affect the pacing of the book?

Tara Leigh did a good job of keeping the story engaging, which is a feat in and of itself after such a punch in the beginning. I saw one of the later events coming, but this is just because I've read so many romance books over the years. Even with knowing part of what was to come, I still wanted to find out what happened to these characters, and I believe that is due to the pacing of the story. I really appreciated that the characters took steps to grow, and didn't just magically change over night. Little events happened to progress the story. Also, the characters were their own people. It is so wonderful to see that the character's story isn't just dependent on the love interest, but they have their own journey to complete.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book, and I will definitely be checking out the other books in the series. I've read a few rock star romance series, and I'm still very interested who these specific band members are, and how they will each find their HEA.

Thank you to NetGalley and Forever Yours for the ARC to review!

A heart-warming story about the need to belong, to love and be loved. A reader of romance would swoon at the chemistry of Piper and Landon, root for them and sometimes also get angry when they don't get along, but all in all, I'm certain they'd love the up and downs and how much these two had to fight for what they wanted- each other! Thank you NetGalley for the eARC, it certainly made my morning!

3.5 stars

It starts off very slowly and I wasn’t convinced I should keep going, but I’m glad I did. Once it started to take off I thoroughly enjoyed and I found so easy to read. Perfect holiday for read.

I liked the characters and the way the story developed. Definitely recommended.

Rock Legend is a fantastic second-chance love story of Landon Cox, Nothing But Trouble's man-whore drummer, and Piper, an employee of NBT's Boss. Again...Tara Leigh has amazed me!!! I LOVE Tara's writing style! I love the way this book flows and the characters! Ms. Leigh does such a wonderful job with this Rock Star book!!! This book will make you laugh, cry, feel heartbreak and love...and once again, Tara has written some quite wonderfully 'steamy' scenes into Rock Legend!

After getting 'screwed' by Andy, Piper's love of her life...she decided to take her future and love life into her own hands. Landon makes some bad decisions and ends up in the hospital...leaving his future as a drummer in question.

Landon has to deal with demons of his past, and Piper has to with deal with unplanned events in her life as well. Can they take their second-chance and run with it...or will they not be able to work through it and have to part ways?

This could be read without reading Rock King, Book 1 in the Nothing But Trouble series, but it is that much better if you read book 1 first! I am looking to forward to the next story in the series! Verity and Dax's story!

Tara Leigh wrote another fantastic book. Piper is strong woman on the outside, but she is fake it until you make it kinda girl. Growing up she just wanted her father to love her. If I get into more of that I'll be given spoilers, I hate that.
Landon had a very bad childhood, to extent. He left home thinking he was to blame.
Piper and Landon meet six years ago. Fame happen and tore them apart. This is the journey in which they have to take to get back together again.

Rock Legend is a second chance, rockstar romance. This is the story of Landon, the sex god drummer of “Nothing But Trouble” and Piper, who we met in the previous book “Rock King” as the PA to the band’s manager. I really enjoyed this book by Tara Leigh. The characters were likable and well developed and the book moved at a good pace. I love how the story was told from a dual POV. While this is the second book in the series, but I do believe it could be read as a standalone. However, I highly recommend reading Rock King as it is also really good.

Piper and Landon met 6 years earlier when she was a college freshman and Landon wasn’t yet famous. Suddenly, he leaves without a word, but neither one of them got over each other. Even though she has worked for his band’s manager for 3 years, she managed to go undetected by him until a connecting at the manager’s party. The chemistry is stronger than ever, but Piper is still hurt. Landon isn’t afraid to admit that he messed up, but he is battling his own demons. Piper is a strong heroine who doesn’t want to have her heart trampled again, but also can’t help but still love Landon. I love how Tara is able to create characters that are not perfect - they are strong and likeable, but they also have flaws. The sex scenes are spicy. Throughout the first 40% of the book, you gradually learned about why Landon up and left. It’s all about making it big. There are also a few other surprises that keep the book interesting. You do get to see small snippets of Delaney, but I really would have liked to have more scenes/interactions with Delaney and Shane as well as the other members of the band. I am now really looking forward to the next book - Dax’s story!

I received this book as an ARC and I am voluntarily leaving this review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

What does it take to make a Legend? Landon had to find out the hard way. Piper doesn't need a Legend, she just needs someone to need her and think that she is enough. I loved this rollercoaster romance and can't wait to read the next book in this series.

This is Landon and pipers book! I have not read anything from this author before but let me tell you she s found herself a new reader!! I absolutely loved this book!! I'm a little mad that I'll be spending some money because now I have to go and get some of her books!! Lol I'll definitely be reading the first book in this series! They're definitely standalone you do not have to read one without the other! Back to the book! Landon is the drummer of the band nothing but trouble, he's had a rough start at life really messed up parents and I'm glad the author doesn't focus on his past to much so your blubbering like a fool lol she just talks about it here and there, piper knew Landon when they were younger and pipers family life was messed up to but in a total opposite way and she felt like she had to be perfect! When these two get together it's fireworks! This book has everything!! It's steamy hot, drama, angst, funny, and a beautifully messed up love story! Definitely don't miss out on this book! Thank you NetGalley and forever grand central publishing for sharing this book with me!
