I would recommend this story to all thriller lovers. This book took me by surprise. It kept me interested throughout the story and I needed to see what was going to happen. I truly enjoyed the pacing of the story and the well-written characters.
Heroin was weak and kind of annoying. Hero was just too much and over the top.
Story was forgettable and I had moved on to another book without remembering to finish this one
DNF
This took me a while to get into the story, it dragged slow at times and I considered DNFing it a few times but I'm glad I didn't. 60%into it the story picked up, had action, had romance, had humor and even murder... I loved all the characters and all eager to see if there's other books on them as well... Good book
A marriage of convenience for Ashlyn and Declan becomes a page turner for me. An exciting, sexy story.
Really beautifully written story with a great set of characters, who all had good rapport and was a nice light pleasurable read, I would highly recommend for all Romance lovers.
What come to mind for The Arrangement? Nothing it was totally forgettable I’d read 18% of the book and somehow completely forgot about the book. And that says it all about the writing. I’d moved onto two other books and it was only on going through my Netgalley listing that I’d realised my mistake. It’s a DNF for me, the storytelling wasn’t gripping enough.

Modern day marriage of convenience that works. Very enjoyable.
I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it
This was a sweet fun story! I really enjoyed the characters and the emotions the book brought. What a fun read!
I really enjoyed this book. I thought maybe it would be predictable but it was not. It was funny with unexpected twists and turns.
Ashlyn's father dies unexpectedly, His will states if she wants him to continue paying for her educations he must marry for at least a year. Deacon approaches Ashlyn about her father will. Her father had discussed it with him. Will she accept his offer?
I highly recommend reading this book.
Thank you Netgalley and BooksGoSocial for allowing me to read this title for an honest review.
If you believe that arranged marriages do not exist in this day and age, think again. Arranged marriages might seem medieval, even anti women’s lib, but men and women enter into arranged marriages on their free will.
That’s what happened between Ashlyn Gray and Deacon Cross. Both are rich, and both are scions of Seattle’s elite. But, they need to get married fast for their own reasons. And they have to stay married for at least a year. But, can they?
Ashlyn is all about control. Deacon is all about getting what he wants. Talk about being incompatible. Yet, though they don’t agree, there is a spark between them. They can fan it and make a basis for their relationship. Still, there are secrets that once revealed can end their budding romance, even the beginnings of a friendship.
The Arrangement is Rated T for Teens. Parental advice due to some mature themes.
This book is like a few others where the female is because of her father’s will to marry in two months and stay married for one year. After talking to her friend who says he cannot do it for her. She receives a message from a man named Deacon Castle who after talking to him for two days and not agreeing to all of his terms she agrees to the marriage. For the most part the story is like other stories but I did like her friends Josh and Emma who actually make the story funny and keep it going. The few problems I have with the story is that at the beginning of the book you are led to believe that Castle had spoken to her father before he had drawn the will up, but you don’t hear about any of that. She is also dealing with her feelings or lack of from her mother who has only looked at what is going on in the society pages, it was their house keeper who taught Ashlyn to cook for example, but that is lightly touched on if you don’t pay attention. This book had its moments and I did like the supporting characters.
This was the standard Marriage of convenience book. It had its moments and some of the banter and back and forth worked. The plot points were a bit different and at one point the couple realizes they have interest and desire.
It was fine but was not a favorite.
This is a charming little marriage of convenience book. I enjoyed the chemistry between Deacon and Ashlyn and the plot has some unexpected twists and turns along way. It was a fun read and I look forward to checking out more Jennifer Lewis books in the future.

Unfortunately, the romance got a little to hot and heavy for my taste. So I didn't finish. Which is a shame, i loved the story-line. Not for me, but certainly for someone else.
I just finished The Arrangement. It was such a wonderful book. I give it 5 stars. Great read. It's about two people who need to be married to inherit & a man who needs to be married to get his son from Africa.. The mother is a drug addict. They signed a contract for one year. They were very attracted to one another and compatible. Things changed after they married and were expecting a baby. Kidnapping, taken to Africa and saved. It's so worth the read.
On beginning this book, you could almost tell immediately what was going to happen in the book. While yes, that did happen as I thought, there was more of a story there than you thought there was going to be so it wasn't too bad a read.
A cute marriage of convenience story. I enjoyed it but felt that the middle dragged on.
Many thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for my review. All opinions are my own.
Ashley Gray thought she would inherit with no strings, think again Ashley? She has to marry for at least a year. At a party she meets Deacon Cross. He has reasons of his own to marry quickly. They form an alliance. The wedding of the season comes off with two weeks prep. Now can they keep to the contract they agreed on? There are surprises to be sure. A fun read.
So disappointed the description sounded like my kind of romance and I was excited to read. Unfortunately it immediately reminded me of two other very well known books with character names and types this was just watered down so not so full of sex and more romance. But I found there wasn’t a lot of character development, it also felt like background stories weren’t really covered, the plot was thin and the ending had so many holes I felt it may have been rushed for a deadline or something.
I was disappointed but the book was an easy read but I won’t be rushing to recommend
Well written romance. An arrangement between two individuals to marry for one year. Will this arrangement work? I highly recommend this book.
