This book was absolutely amazing. My favorite books are Christmas books, and this one definitely doesn't disappoint. It's kind of like the movie, but of course the book is better.

"Christmas in Evergreen" is a delightful book by Nancy Naigle that is based on the Hallmark Channel Original Movie. The book is a heartwarming story that is set in the charming town of Evergreen, where the spirit of Christmas is always alive.
The story revolves around Allie Shaw, a veterinarian who has recently moved to Evergreen to start a new life. Allie is struggling to adjust to her new surroundings and is finding it difficult to make friends. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she discovers a mysterious Christmas ornament that seems to hold magical powers.
As Allie begins to unravel the secrets of the ornament, she finds herself drawn into the lives of the people of Evergreen. She becomes friends with the local bookstore owner, Ryan, and his daughter Zoe, who help her to understand the importance of community and the true meaning of Christmas.
The story is beautifully written, and the characters are well-developed. Allie is a relatable protagonist who is easy to root for, and Ryan and Zoe are equally likable. The author does an excellent job of bringing the town of Evergreen to life, and readers will feel as if they are a part of the community.

It is a heartwarming story that will leave readers feeling uplifted and inspired. The book is full of Christmas cheer, and the magical element adds an extra layer of enchantment to the story.
Overall, "Christmas in Evergreen" is a delightful book that is sure to become a holiday favorite. The book captures the spirit of Christmas perfectly and is a must-read for anyone who loves heartwarming holiday stories.
Now that I have watched the movie, read the book, I feel I need to go back and rewatch the movie! Thankfully, Hallmark has me covered with their app where I can find out when it will air next!
Evergreen, Vermont is about to be in the rearview mirror of Allie Shaw’s vintage red pickup truck. It’s hard to say goodbye to her small town and her veterinarian practice, but she’s moving to Washington D.C., where her big-city-loving boyfriend lives.
Ever since Ryan Bellamy’s wife died, he hardly knows how to celebrate Christmas. He’s decided to take his daughter Zoe to Florida, and Evergreen is just a quick stop on the way to the airport. While they’re there, Zoe partakes in a local tradition, making a Christmas wish on the snow globe at the town diner.
But neither Allie’s nor Ryan’s Christmas goes as planned. They’ve checked their wish lists twice, and they didn’t say anything about meeting someone new…or about a fresh chance at love.
I loved this book! I can't get enough of Hallmark Christmas books! I loved the recipe at the end as well!
I don’t think that you can ever go wrong with a Hallmark book! Allie and Ryan were so sweet together and I was rooting for them the whole time! If you are looking for a lighthearted, sweet romance than this is definitely for you!
Loved this book just as much as the movie. I love Hallmark movies and the books that go with them.
I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
An adaptation of a Hallmark Christmas movies by the same name. I think the author did a wonderful job of taking the movie and turning it into the book, adding all the nuances and descriptions that bring a book to life in one's imagination. I wish I had read the book before seeing the movie because I think I would have enjoyed the book even more, without being influenced by having actual faces connected to the characters. I have had the opportunity to meet Nancy several times at a local book festival and her wonderful personality overflows into her writing. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from Nancy Naigle.
It was a joy reading this romance novel and really brought the Christmas spirit to life.
Watching the movie version this past holiday season was a pleasant memory boost.
I would enjoy reading this at any time of year.
I love the Evergreen books and movies! Allie Shaw, the local vet, is planning on spreading her wings and leaving Evergreen to move in with her Washington DC boyfriend. Ryan Bellamy's wife passed away the previous Christmas and he has planned a hot vacation for him and his daughter in the hopes that getting away into a unfamiliar location will help his daughter with the Christmas season. Mother nature intervenes and neither Allie nor Ryan and his daughter can get to where they want to go. They meet in the airport and the romance progresses from there.
Such a "Christmasy" story - lots of snow, activities like making a snowman, Christmas baking, etc. Such a comfort read.
I had not seen the movies but reading this series and listening to the audiobook was a wonderful edition to my December reads. There was just enough romance and tons of Christmas magic to get you in the spirit.
From what I understand, the books and the movies are identical, just so you know going into either.
This is a great Christmas read. It has all the happy fillers you need from a Hallmark story. I love Hallmark books because I know they won’t disappoint. This book won’t disappoint.
This was just adorable! I loved the movie on Hallmark, and the whimsical, slightly magical premise combined with some of my favorite Hallmark actors being in my head as I read it was a real win for me! It had of the Christmas joy I could possibly want wrapped up into a tidy, happily-ever-after package. I received a complementary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley, and was under no obligation to write a review.
I’m not sure whether this book came first or the Hallmark movie, but it’s definitely loaded with lots of Hallmark Christmas movie holiday cheer. I set the movie up to record while reading the book.
Allie lives in the most perfect christmassy town named Evergreen. She’s a vet and loves her small town but feels like she hasn’t seen enough of the world to know where she’s supposed to be. She’s recently decided to give her boyfriend another shot and to make from a long distance relationship to living in the same town. She’s planning to visit him in DC for Christmas and move there after the holidays.
She has a number of crazy things prevent her from catching a flight.
Ryan is in a similar situation. He’s planning to take his daughter to Florida, it’s only their second Christmas since Zoe’s mom has died and he wants it to be totally different this year so it’s less sad.
But they get pulled into Evergreen and all of the Christmas festivities.
They also meet Allie.
Suddenly everyone is starting to question what they really want.
Much cuteness follows.
I got to read an early ebook edition from NetGalley, I didn’t read it early because I saved it for this season.
I so enjoyed this book. As always, I love anything I read by Nancy Naigle and all books tied in with a Hallmark movie. This story gives a warm and cozy feeling of this sweet town filled with wonderful people, all surrounded with snow and the best little red truck that has become one of my favorite things.

I would like to thank netgalley and Hallmark Publishing for a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
Little movement in plot.
I loved the movie, Ia m a sucker for a Hallmark movie but I loved the book even more. It was well written, really enjoyable to read and I love a small town romance! It' a slow burn but I loved it! Would and will recommend and I can't wait to reread soon.
One of my new favorite books! This author has such a way with words the pages flew by in no time! I can’t wait to see the next work by this author! This was such a joy to read!
This was another beautiful Christmas romance story from Nancy. I fell in love with the characters straight away, and the story was so good! The heroine is going to move away from her small town to a big city job. The hero is "fleeing" the traditional Christmas holiday by taking his young daughter with him for a Florida holiday. Snow storm happens and things change for everyone. If you love Christmas romance stories then you will love this book.
Not only is this a great book , as is everything Nancy Naigle writes but it’s also a great hallmark movie......a definite must read, I couldn’t put it down
This is probably my favorite Christmas movie on the Hallmark channel so I was thrilled to see the book come out! It’s exactly like the movie and when I don’t want to watch the movie I can just curl up with this book and drink some hot cocoa! Loved this book!
After watching the movie, I knew I had to read the book. Christmas in Evergreen did not disappoint and fans of holiday reads and movies will greatly enjoy this book adaptation.
