Publisher's Description:
A snowy small town.
A snow globe that grants wishes.
A love that’s meant to be.
Evergreen, Vermont is about to be in the rearview mirror of Allie Shaw’s vintage red pickup truck. It’s hard to say goodbye to her small town and her veterinarian practice, but she’s moving to Washington D.C., where her big-city-loving boyfriend lives.
Ever since Ryan Bellamy’s wife died, he hardly knows how to celebrate Christmas. He’s decided to take his daughter Zoe to Florida, and Evergreen is just a quick stop on the way to the airport. While they’re there, Zoe partakes in a local tradition, making a Christmas wish on the snow globe at the town diner.
But neither Allie’s nor Ryan’s Christmas goes as planned. They’ve checked their wish lists twice, and they didn’t say anything about meeting someone new…or about a fresh chance at love.
This magical, feel-good romance includes a free Hallmark recipe for Vermont Christmas Card Cookies.
My Thoughts:
This is another well written holiday tale from Hallmark. I saw the movie when it debuted last year and was absolutely thrilled when the book became available at NetGalley.
Sweet, clean family oriented romance with just enough angst to make them interesting is what Hallmark books and movies for that matter are about.
I loved the characters, Zoe in particular makes this story an absolute delight.
I enjoyed reading this book which is being published almost a full year after the movie first aired. As I read I could picture the scenes in the movie although it has been almost a year since I had first seen it.
I gave this book 4.75 of 5.0 stars for storyline and characterization. There is no sensual rating in this "G" rated book meant for family consumption.
I received a complimentary digital copy of this book from the publisher's via Netgalley to read.
This in no way affected my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.

I received this book from #NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I started reading this in the middle of possibly the hottest local heat spell on record so a book about snow and Christmas was the perfect antidote as I sat in my air conditioned living room to read. AS with all the Hallmark novels I have read, this one is a sweet clean romance and it comes with a recipe to tree out - this time for some special Christmas cookies.
Growing up I loved everything Christmas so I could identify with two of the main characters in this novel - Allie Shaw has always lived in Evergreen, a town where there is a presence of Christmas all year round. Zoe Bellamy lost her mother just before Christmas the previous year and her Dad is trying to give her a special but different Christmas that won't increase her grief. All 3 meet in Evergreen and eat at the local diner (owned by Allie's parents). There is a very special snow globe there which has a reputation of granting the wishes of those who really know what they want. Both Allie and Zoe give it a shake and before long the universe is conspiring to keep the threesome together. Allie had been planning a move to Washington DC to see whether a relationship with ex-boyfriend Spenser can be salvaged. Her flight keeps on getting cancelled and the more time she spends with Zoe and Ryan, the less she wants to leave Evergreen at all. Her grandfather had always told her that sometimes you need to leave to discover where you really want to be. Will this Christmas be Allie's best one ever? Will she decide where she really wants to be? Read on to find out and oh yes, stay cool!

This is a Christmas story set in a town called Evergreen, which seems to follow a trend of holiday stories being in a town that honors the holiday all year long. The heroine in the story is abandoning her life in Evergreen to move to DC with a possible boyfriend, but the town keeps tugging at her. She meets a widower and his young daughter, and then they keep bumping into each other, presumably because of a wish made on the famous Evergreen snowglobe.
It's a quick read and a pleasant story.

Allie and Spencer or Allie, Ryan, and his daughter Zoe? Will Allie move to Washington or will she decide to stay in her hometown of Evergreen? Allie is in a difficult relationship with Spencer and on the verge of moving to DC to start a new Veterinary job there, Ryan and Zoe are travelling to Florida for a cruise, to try to escape the heartbreak of the Christmas season- due to the loss of Zoe's mom. I really enjoyed this heartwarming story! After many delays for their flights, due to the snowy weather- Allie, Zoe, and Ryan find themselves back in Evergreen and all 3 make a wish on the "magical" snow globe, that is in Allie's parents' restaurant. Allie opens her home to Ryan and Zoe, while they stay there. They start spending lots of time together and a relationship and friendship start to form and grows stronger between the 3 of them! The town of Evergreen loves the Christmas season! And this story brings you right to their town and you find yourself falling in love with the town and characters as well! Great story and great ending!

Christmas in Evergreen is an adorable romance. I loved the plot, characters and setting. This author has a great writing style and I look forward to reading more of her books. Fans of romance should enjoy this book.

Christmas in Evergreen is the latest holiday offering from prolific author Nancy Naigle back with another delightful Christmas tale. Allie Shaw, DVM, is planning to leave her hometown of Evergreen, Vermont, for a lucrative offer with a veterinary firm in Washington DC where her on again/off again boyfriend Spencer lives. The closer the time comes for this move to happen, the more Allie second guesses her decision, at least subconsciously. As she is preparing to leave for a Christmas visit to DC, she nostalgically takes a turn at the rumored magic snow globe in her parents’ Chris Kringle Kitchen. It is said that it will grant the wish that your heart desires.
As Allie leaves the restaurant that day she encounters widower Ryan Bellamy, a physician, and his young daughter Zoe. There is an unmistakable connection from the beginning, but the ways in which their paths will intertwine are so unpredictable. Ryan and Zoe are merely passing through on their way to the airport in Burlington.
When again they meet in the airport and suffer the same fate as all flights are cancelled due to snowstorms, then in the hotel and restaurant, a pattern is established for their combined journeys. When they must vacate their hotel rooms, Allie offers a ride with her back to Evergreen since there is no available lodging in the area.
And from there the delight, magic, and even mystery of the story unfolds in a delightful holiday story of wonder and joy. With each of the main characters making their separate wishes on the snow globe, the mesh of their wishes shows the wisdom of fate and that the heart often understands what one needs well before the mind catches up.
As with Ms. Naigle’s other novels, particularly her holiday stories, this is a heartwarming tale that reflects the magic of Christmas and the purpose found in love. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I do recommend it!

“Christmas In Evergreen” is a heartwarming story about two different characters that are in different stages of his or her life. They are both searching for something different. Allie tries to leave Evergreen to spend Christmas in Washington DC because she believes that she needs more adventure and a change in her life. Ryan, along with his daughter, Zoe, try to head south to Florida for the Christmas season, but due to circumstances beyond their control, they all end up stranded in Evergreen. Although the book primarily focuses on the characters of Allie, Ryan, and Zoe, we do get glimpses of the other characters that reside in Evergreen. The details and descriptions of the town and the characters draw you right into the story. I felt like I was walking down Main Street along with Allie, Ryan, and Zoe. I visually saw every detail down to the twinkling lights on Allie’s Christmas tree to the enjoyment on the faces of those attending the Christmas Festival in Evergreen. The details bring the town of Evergreen and the characters to life.

Come to Evergreen and forget all your troubles for little while. This book is full of Christmas spirit and makes you wish there really was a town like Evergreen. I highly recommend this book to everyone. This will be a Christmas classic! Thank you Hallmark Publishing and NetGalley for an ARC copy of this book. This is my honest review and as soon as available I will buy a copy.

Christmas in Evergreen was my favorite Hallmark movie last Christmas season and I was delighted to receive this book to review from Netgalley.
Allie and Ryan are a cute couple and Zoe, his daughter, is cute as button. I love the detail of the magical snow globe and Evergreen is just the perfect town to spend Christmas in.
A festive and quick read, perfect to read with a smile on your face.
Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

What a great book. Even though i read this book in June, I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Evergreen is a small town in Vermont, where Christmas is the theme all year roun, except closer to the actual holiday when the entire town all out and throws a ahuge Christmas festival.
Allie Shaw is a veterinarian. She loves Evergreen but she is leaving to join a practice in DC to be closer to her boyfriend. As time gets closer, her doubts grow. She wonders if maybe fate is trying to tell her something when her truck won't start then she has to make an emergency visit to see a pregnant cow. With a heavy heart, she goes to the airport for her flight to DC.
At the airport, she runs into a man and his little girl that she met earlier in Evergreen. They keep running into each other. The airport closes, due to weather and Allie winds up taking the man and his daughter back to Evergreen. Through a series of magical events, their stay winds up lasting several days. They spend time with Allie, helping to prepare for the Christmas festival. When Allie's boyfriend makes a surprise landing in Evergreen, Allie has to decide if DC and Spencer are really for her or is her future right here with her in her beloved Evergreen.
This is a sweet story. It isn't steamy but it sure doesn't need it. It's a great book for any time of the year. I can't recommend it enough.

Christmas In Evergreen was a sweet, feel-good, wish-you-were-really-there, magical Christmas story.
I loved this book!
Nancy Naigle was a perfect choice to write this story. Her writing was superb, and once I got started, I couldn’t put it down.
Christmas In Evergreen is about Allie the Veterinarian, who’s in the process of selling off her practice to move to Washington DC, where she has a job waiting for her at a big city clinic. Though she’s a bit terrified, she has it in her head, that she needs to get out in the world and see if that’s where she belongs.
Ryan and Zoe are on their way to Florida to spend Christmas on a cruise. Widowed father Ryan is trying to get away from the memories of last Christmas and thinks a cruise is just what him and his daughter need.
On their way to the airport they decide to stop off for something to eat in Evergreen.
It’s there on Main Street where Ryan And Zoe meet Allie. Which is just the beginning.
Between snowstorms that cancel flights, an old truck that won’t start, a cow in labor, and a little snow globe magic, things are changing for all this Christmas.
Whether you read this during the Summer or wait till Christmas time, I think you’ll truly enjoy this story.
I highly recommend this book.

Such a sweet Christmas story! The town of Evergreen is all about Christmas. The shops and decorations, the annual Christmas Festival, the magical Snow Globe, and most of all, the residents! The descriptions are detailed and wonderful. Allie, Ryan, Zoe and the other characters are so believable. This story will really put you in the Christmas Spirit! I really enjoyed this sweet romance from Nancy Naigle!

I love Christmas and everything involved. Cookies, christmas trees, stockings, and of course...the mandatory Hallmark Christmas movies. This little gem is a sure fire way of getting you into the holiday spirit no matter what time of year it is.
Allie is leaving Evergreen for the best. At least that's what she keeps telling herself. Moving to DC where he lost distance boyfriend is to start a new job seems like a perfect way to kick off the holidays. So...why is something always drawing her back to Evergreen and the town that loves Christmas?
All Ryan wants is for his daughter to have a very merry Christmas. After losing his wife and Zoe losing her mother, Ryan plans on staying as far away from the snow as possible. That's why he's planned on a cruise in Florida. Just what he and Zoe need. But when a small detour to Evergreen turns into an extended stay, Ryan and Zoe are bombarded with the Christmas spirit...and a lovely lady to go with it.
This was a such a good little read. Appropriate for all ages I highly recommend this if you-like me- love everything Hallmark. And don't forget to check out the Hallmark Channel Original Movie, "Christmas In Evergreen." I am sure you will love it.
I am a huge Hallmark movie fan and now I am proud to say that I am a huge fan of their new books which are just as charming as the movies.

Great heart warming Christmas story. Ryan lost his wife a year ago, right before Christmas. He thought he’d make it easier on his daughter by taking a cruise at Christmas to try to hold the sad memories away. Allie is leaving Evergreen & her vet practice to move to Washington & a place in a larger practice. The weather is making it impossible for them to catch their flights. Or does Zoe’s wish on the magical snow globe have anything to do with it?
This book was written after the Hallmark movie was made so fans of the movie could revisit it whenever they want. It reminds the reader of the Christmas season & the wonder of it all. Coupled with a good romance & several memorable characters, this was an enjoyable read.

This is a delightful, feel-good romance and Christmas story. I haven't seen the Hallmark movie, but definitely want to after reading this.

I really enjoyed this book. Sweet, warm, feel good, family small town holiday feel. Evergreen sounds like a wonderful and magical ( that's to the snow globe) place to live.
Thank you NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read this book.

I love Christmas and this is the absolute sweetest Christmas Book!
Allie is trying to decide where her life is leading her. She has accepted a job in a Veterinarian hospital in Washington,DC. Her mind says yes, but her heart already is missing her small town of Evergreen, her family, friends, and patients.
The only thing to do is to wish on the snow globe, but will her dream come true? Seems as though nature has a significant role in helping with her hearts desires.
"Only wishes your heart truly wanted even had a chance of being granted."
I don't know about you, but I would love to visit this quaint town and see all of its beauty! The descriptions of the town, diner, trees, decorations and people are just magnificent!
Beautiful novel!

I received an ARC of this whimsical book from Hallmark Publishing and NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. Thank you!
5 stars! Christmas In Evergreen by Nancy Naigle is MAGICAL! Everything about this book from the endearing characters, to the quaint town of Evergreen and the story itself is charming- plain and simple. This is the perfect read for a crisp night, a blazing fire and a favorite hot beverage! (Or a scorching summer afternoon, floating in a pool wishing it was winter.)

This was an awesome book. I truly believe in the magic of Christmas. Widower Ryan and his daughter Zoe is in much need of a magical Christmas. They meet the veterinarian Ally who helped them with a ride back from the airport to her small town, Evergreen. They give Zoe a great Christmas & fall in love with each other. Worth the read. It's magical

Yes, another Christmas book! This one was a very fun read that really held onto the descriptive power that many Christmas books tend to have. A lot of the time I could picture the scene being described and needless to say, I want to go to Evergreen. I found that the writing was a but choppy in this and not as fluid as A Christmas to Remember. But overall this was a festive and quick read that left me smiling at the end.
