This was an awesome book. I truly believe in the magic of Christmas. Widower Ryan and his daughter Zoe is in much need of a magical Christmas. They meet the veterinarian Ally who helped them with a ride back from the airport to her small town, Evergreen. They give Zoe a great Christmas & fall in love with each other. Worth the read. It's magical
Yes, another Christmas book! This one was a very fun read that really held onto the descriptive power that many Christmas books tend to have. A lot of the time I could picture the scene being described and needless to say, I want to go to Evergreen. I found that the writing was a but choppy in this and not as fluid as A Christmas to Remember. But overall this was a festive and quick read that left me smiling at the end.
I received an ARC of this book for my honest review.
What a lovely book. I loved this book. It made me feel good and I had fun reading it. I want to live in Evergreen.
These was a sweet and enjoyable Christmas story . I enjoyed reading about the characters and kept my interested and it was well written. These is the first time I have read anything by these author.
This is the perfect book for anyone who enjoys Hallmark Channel movies or sweet Christmas romances. This is a quick feel-good read. While this is charming and heartfelt, the characters are realistic and Allie and Ryan have authentic difficulties to overcome.
The secondary characters make this feel complete and add to the enjoyment, particularly Ryan's daughter, Zoe. The setting of Evergreen, Vermont, possibly the most endearingly festive small town, really provides the perfect atmosphere and backdrop for the story. This is especially fun for readers who will appreciate the element of a magical Christmas wishing globe. The cover is gorgeous and provides a perfect clue to the tone of the story. I have not yet seen the movie this book is based on, but will gladly watch it as soon as I have the opportunity to do so. This was written so well that I could envision it as if it were a movie while I was reading.
I loved this sweet romance. I had seen this hallmark movie and loved to read the expanded story. I will definitely be reading more Hallmark books after I watch the movies.
This was a great story. It had a bit more depth than the Hallmark movie and can be read before or after seeing the movie
awww this was an adorable story and what a perfect Christmas Story. Loved the inclusion of the wishing giving snow globe and Nick. Great characters that find each other when they are both unsure of what's next for themselves. The town of Evergreen sounds like a fabulous small town.
I love, love, love this book. My kind of read. Such a sweet romance. The characters were so real and the story was lovely. Would highly recommend this for everyone! a MUST READ!!
Who doesn't love a warm, sweet Hallmark Christmas movie? Well now you can have it in book form...the best of both worlds!
To tell you the truth, after reading this I kind of want to put up my Christmas tree. I'm not even kidding. It gives you the warm fuzzies just like all those wonderful Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel.
I recommend this for all of us Hallmark fans who could use a little dose of Hallmark Christmas cheer in the middle of summer!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I remember watching the movie and it was wonderful. This book brought back memories of watching the movie. Beautiful setting, engaging characters. Lots of snow and fellowship.
What a sweet book! You knew how it was going to turn out just based on the description, but the journey was magical. Set in a small town, the book has a cozy, familiar, small-town feel to the narration. The characters are all a bit like family, and the story has a good feeling to it. It's not a deep-thinking book, but one that will put you in the holiday spirit, and leave you wondering, 'Was that _really_ Santa Claus...?'
Christmas in Evergreen is an incredibly sweet Christmas story. Allie, the town veterinarian, plans to move to Washington DC to be closer to her boyfriend. A twist of fate has her running into widower Ryan and his young daughter Zoe. A snow storm prevents Allie and Ryan and Zoe from flying to their destinations, so they have the opportunity to get to know each other better in Evergreen. Allie and Ryan feel a connection, but Allie has a boyfriend, Spencer, so they fight their feelings. Eventually, Allie realizes that she and Spencer aren’t right for each other and that she belongs in Evergreen. Ryan realizes the same thing and decides to move to Evergreen and open a medical practice there. A year later, Ryan and Allie become engaged.
This book just oozed charm from start to finish. The story, the characters, and the town of Evergreen were all so delightful, I didn't want the story to end. I absolutely loved this book and would recommend it to anyone who loves a sweet Christmas story.
This was an easy and sweet read, by an author I have come to enjoy. She described Christmas in Evergreen, VT so well I want to visit. I highly recommend it for an afternoon of delightful reading.
Christmas in Evergreen is a great Christmas story. I loved reading the story. The story was very magical with the snow globe. Sometimes people need a little magic and kindness in their lives.
Christmas in Evergreen is a feel good read. The story is sweet, and the characters are likeable and real. It was a quick read that I totally enjoyed.
Great festive read.
Set in Evergreen, a town that is all about Christmas.
Allie is leaving Evergreen, even though in her heart she doesn't want to leave, especially not at Christmas.
Ryan and his daughter are only visiting the town after flights get delayed because of the snow. When they meet they are instantly at ease with each other, but seeing as neither are staying in town what will happen next?
