I went into this book fully expecting a murder, so it was kind of nice to have that expectation subverted. On the other hand, I didn't find the plot particularly believable. The broad strokes made sense: teen hackers used by unscrupulous company to create malicious software then work together to take the giant down. I was mostly on board with that. It was all the little details: the hyper rich kids traveling on a whim, random violence all at once that they quickly recover from, the convenient pairing up.
