Us Against the World was such a good book. I really liked learning about how the Mann's met. How they brought together their family, and have kept a healthy and happy marriage. They give a lot of good advice.
I would suggest this book to anyone who may be having a troubled marriage.

I am a fan of David and Tamela Mann. Us Against the World allows us to learn how David Mann and Tamela Johnson became David and Tamela Mann. David and Tamela truly have a friendship first and a marriage second. They are transparent, relatable, and loving. These are just some of the ingredients that contribute to their marriage. Their love for God is front and center You do not have to be married or have children to appreciate their journey. Us Against the World is a beautiful story that allows readers to see them as everyday, ordinary people.

I loved how open and honest this couple was. Not only was it completely open, but it's not like a lot of church teachings where the woman is the only one that seems to be at fault, they both talk about how they each messed up and how with God they were able to learn about each other. This is marriage teaching I would be willing to follow and learn from.

This books would be great for couples.
The Mann's offer good advice for keeping your relationship healthy and happy. The book has eight chapters were the Mann's take turns telling their truths. The first part of the book has eight chapters were it allows the readers to get to the know them, they share how they met and how they have managed to stay in a healthy loving relationship for thirty years. The second part of the book has ten chapters were they are filled with relationship advice. At the end of each chapter it contains a prayer and discussion questions for the couples.
Every relationship/couple can benefit from reading the book. Also, the Mann's created an album to go along with the book, everyone should buy it, is titled as the book: Us against the world. The album contains ten songs for about forty minutes. It a good collections of songs for couples.
