This is a contemporary sweet romance story that is packed with emotion, mystery and romance. The heroine is being harassed by an unknown person and she and her young son are forced to move multiple times in an effort to hide from her unknown assailant. When her son calls "Santa" our hero of the story enters the picture. The odds of them meeting is impossible.

Normally sweet romance stories become boring to me about half-way through the book; however, this story was so well-written and had such great characters that it held my interest right up until the end. If you love sweet romance stories then I would recommend that you read this one. It was excellent!

A man who loves adventure and the open sea, Devin Murphy returns for a short Christmas trip to his small hometown of Eternity Springs. Perhaps in a Christmas wish they’ll both find the miracle they’ve been looking for all along…
This was a great holiday read. It read just like the holiday movies I love to watch! I really liked the characters as well as everything they go through. I highly recommend.

Devin returns home to Eternity Springs for a quick Christmas visit with his family. This is the 15th book in the Eternity Springs series and it's a wonderful Christmas romance with a touch of intrigue. Devin gets a phone call from a young boy with a Christmas wish for Santa. Devin decides to check out the boy and his mom and discovers Jenna and her son, Reilly are in hiding. He decides to postpone his return to Australia to help them out and get his own Christmas miracle. An cute story that is easily a stand alone but a nice revisit with previous couples. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

The entire plot of this book was a little far-fetched, but it was still a sweet story about hope and healing. I'd like to read more Eternity Springs novels, as the town and the supporting characters were quite charming.

Sweet contemporary romance. This is part of a series. The premis was cute, but I thought the execution was not a strong as previous books have been.

I did not realize that this was book 15 of a series! This book can definitely stand alone and it was a great Christmas story. This book actually takes place over a few Christmases, following Jenna, Reilly, and Devin. There is some love, some mystery, and some Christmas cheer. A perfect book if you ask me! I will be going back to read some more Eternity Spring books.

This is a story of a lonely little boy and his mom. I read this book out of order in the series and enjoyed it thoroughly. It is inspiring and is full of Christmas Spirit!

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for the opportunity to read and provide an honest review of this book.

I received a free, advanced copy of this book from the publisher. This is my unbiased and voluntary review. It is not meant as a stand alone and will be confusing if read as such. Start at the begining and you won't regret it.

This is Devin's romance. It starts with Devin dreaming about a redhead out of sight, but waiting for him. The day gets stranger as Celeste accidentally (?) damages his phone an lends him a burner phone with the number NorthPOLE1 and giving him a Christmas message. Shortly thereafter he received a phone cal from a young boy, Reilly from Nashville, calling Santa, wishing for a Daddy. Reilly's mother is a single mother, Dr. Jenna Stockton. As Reilly continues to call, eventually Devin is able to reach the mother and they find out a little bit about each other, but do not even exchange names. After New Years, Devin returns to Australia, while Jenna and Reilly are subjected to a stalker, who escalates from doxxing to swatting, until they are forced to go off the grid and eventually make their way to Eternity Springs, where " broken hearts come to heal".

Another beautiful story, with endearing characters, a riveting plot skillfully narrated.

The Christmas Wishing Tree: An Eternity Springs novel by Emily March is a super sweet and fun Christmas love story. Even though this is book 15 of the series, it is only the second I have read and I did not feel lost. Each book seems to give enough backstory so they can be read standalone or as a series. This one brought together Devin, Jenna, and Reilly. Devin and Jenna's love story was a bit bumpy, but is well worth the read. I would highly recommend grabbing some hot cocoa and curling up by the fire with this book.

Despite being a Christmas love story, The Christmas Wishing Tree wasn't as lighthearted as I expected.

Maybe it's just me and my preferences, but I'm not really a fan of stories with darker themes. I read romances for the happy escape. Sure, there will be obstacles but they're often not so serious? But this book dealt with Jenna and Reilly (her son) attacked and forced to go on the run more than once before they find a haven in Eternity Springs.

It just didn't feel like the small town romance I wanted when I picked the book up. Instead, I thought it should have been more in the romantic suspense category with the way the mystery of their attacker played out in the background. This contrasted with the mellow town life that Jenna was hiding them in and the two pieces just weren't quite meshing.

As for Jenna, the only part of her character I really got behind was her devotion to her son. She'd do absolutely anything for him and that love came off the page. Unfortunately, beyond that, I felt like her character became a means to a romantic end as soon as Devin was introduced. The two had some serious insta-lust but the relationship itself felt rushed and awkward in the context of the rest of the story. I never got behind it or either character.

I really don't have much else to say about The Christmas Wishing Tree. It wasn't the type of story I go for due to the romantic suspense element (something I tend to avoid), and I didn't really care about either character or their romance. I've enjoyed other books in this series, though, so I'll keep on reading despite this book.

The Christmas Wishing Tree is part of a series, but can be read as a stand alone. This is Jenna and Devins story. Its a great Christmas story guaranteed to get you in the Christmas spirit. I really enjoyed this story and im sure you will too. Also, if you've never read Emily March, you'll be wanting to add her to your favorite author list. :)

Another visit to Eternity Springs. Celeste Blessing, the town’s own angel on a Goldwing seems to know the needs of all the residents of Eternity Springs, whether they realize that they have those needs or not. When Devin returns to his home town his cellphone gets damaged at the hands of none other than Celeste Blessing. She gives him a replacement phone. Coincidentally (or maybe not) he receives a call from a small boy wanting to talk to Santa.

Reilly, Jenna’s adopted son, is excited to talk to Santa. The only thing Reilly wants for Christmas is a daddy. Reilly calls “Santa” several times and Devin develops a definite fondness for the little boy.

Jenna and Reilly are running from a stalker. Can Devin protect them without losing his heart?

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to read and review this wonderful holiday book. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good contemporary romance. Definitely 5 stars!

This was quite a good story. At first I thought it was going to be more of a "cozy" mystery; but, it melded well with the story that actually takes place over a 2 year period. It is well written and kept me wanting to find out "what happens next". It has interesting characters that are well developed. It is my first foray into Eternity Springs. I also liked that the story wasn't only in the little town of Eternity Springs. There are references to Australia and also a small Caribbean island. The main character, Jenna Stockton, is an OB/GYN doctor with an adopted 5 year-old son named Reilly. This is their story: a boy that wants a dad, a "magical" call to Santa, and a stalker that has Jenna and Reilly scared witless.

I was so happy to be able to return to Eternity Springs, the wonderful small town in a series created by Emily March and the setting of THE CHRISTMAS WISHING TREE. There are so many “small town” romances out there that try to create the mood of a loving, accepting place where the people all seem like family and newcomers are welcomed and supported, but there aren’t many that will stand up to Eternity Springs. Ms. March has truly created the idyllic small town for a romance novel. The town and it’s wonder people are far more than just a setting or an afterthought. They play an important role in each novel in the series, and The Christmas Wishing Tree is no exception.

Ms. March has also created wonderful primary characters for The Christmas Wishing Tree. Devin Murphy, a carefree Australian sea captain, was adopted by a family that now lives in Eternity Springs. While he loves his family and visits often, he is truly more at home on his fishing boat in the Caribbean. Jenna Stockton is a devoted OB/GYN who adopted a friend’s young son Riley when the friend died. She builds a good life for Riley and herself until she becomes the victim of an unknown stalker. She would do anything to protect the little boy, a child whose only Christmas wish is to have a daddy. It is a combination of the threat of the stalker and Riley’s misdialed call to Santa that lead Jenna and Riley to Eternity Springs and to Devin.

The well-written story takes place over the course of a year, giving Devin’s and Jenna’s love story time to develop naturally. It also gives the readers plenty of time to get to know the main characters and the good people of Eternity Springs. The story of the stalker held my interest and gave the story depth. My only complaint, however, and the reason for the four-star rating instead of five, is that the conclusion of the stalker story was weak and anticlimactic. It should have been closer to home to allow the hero of the story to truly be the hero.

Despite the weak ending to the stalker story, The Christmas Wishing Tree is still a very good book. It stands alone very well even though it is part of a series, and the rest of the story and the characters are very strong. I can’t wait until my next visit to Eternity Springs!

I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
