Steam, sex and humour, the second novella length book in the Carnal Mischief series is a quick read that has it all. Adam and Bekka are great characters and although short it makes for a good read. This series is getting better with each book so I look forward to reading what comes next.

Bekka was having a really bad day. Finding out the guy she was dating had a fiancée and getting stuck in an elevator and feeling claustrophobic was icing on the cake. The only person that made it better was Adam. He was the totally hot super she had been drooling over for months. She had no idea that she played the starring role in all of his fantasies. Will she finally find a man who completes her while avoiding looking for men who waste her time on Tinder?

This book was a perfect example of the erotica/Romance genre. Bekka and Adam have such chemistry. I loved that she and her best friend could potentially be family someday. I feel like that's every best friends dream. Adam is serious man goals and he clearly learned well from his father.

NetGalley is weird they gave me book two and three but I'm still waiting on book 1. Weird. Any way this is totally stand alone and you don't need to have read book 1. Book 1 is her BFF and his dad.

This book was hot, steamy and quick. It was over at 50%.

Private Prick by Ember Cole is the second book in her Carnal Mischief series. I didn't read the first book and even so this was easy to read as a stand alone. However, please be warned that this book is very short and ends at the 60% mark with 2 other stories added at the end.

I thought I'd give this book a try as Ms. Cole is a new author to me and unfortunately one of my biggest pet peeves is books that say they are complete but then end abruptly either as a cliffhanger or with other stories to make it a full book. Well, this is one of those books...

Bekka Zoler has just had the date with someone she found on Tinder but guess what he's a cheater. So after getting into the elevator of her building she doesn't expect the elevator to get stuck. Coming to her rescue is the building supervisor's son Adam Black who has had the hots for Bekka and you guessed it their libido goes into overtime so almost sex in the elevator. She has regrets and walks away, Adam doesn't know why but they can't keep their hands off each other.

Inst-love, sex with hot guy and End of story that summarizes the entire book in a couple of paragraphs. For that reason I give the book 3 stars and from now one I'll read the reviews before requesting.

Bekka is Kymber's BFF and has had a rough go of men. She doesn't realize that there are good men out there. she seems to think no man will drop from the ceiling and fall into her lap. Adam is Daniel's son from the previous book. He seems nice and a gentleman. Bekka has rules and likes to keep them. This book followed the first story line. I would like to have deviated other than how they met and instant fall in love. The read was short, but still just ok in my book!

This is Bekka and Adam book, it was an ok read?! Bekka gets stuck in the crappy elevator of her apartment building after she finds her boyfriend cheating, Adam who lives there also and his father owns the building, the father sends Adam to fix the elevator, he drops in through the trap door and bekka is freaking out a little cuz she's claustrophobic so Adam kisses her to shut her up or calm her down! Weeeellll it's an ok read a little like porn?! To much to soon? Idk?! They go at it like right away! Just wasn't my favorite! Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

Private Prick by Ember Cole is book Two in the Carnal Mischief Series. This is the story of Bekka and Adam. I have read the previous book 'Stiff Discipline' and really liked that one allot.
Bekka is living in a apartment building owned by a former military person that at one time only allowed military people there but has now opened it up to non-military types. Adam's father is the owner and he is the person that takes care of the building. Adam fully meets Bekka when she is trapped in the elevator and he has to save her. This starts their hot encounter and their story.
This book read as a short read and stopped 60% through and gave you a sneak peak at the other two books in the series.

Well what to say what to say.. We really didn't have much of a story line and I didn't get the name because Adam was not a prick a however he was previously in the services soooo I am going to assume that is where we get the Private part from..This was an insta-lust story (again not sure I can call it a story. Bekka meets Adam in an elevator she is stuck in and jumps his bones and regrets after she jumps him on her kitchen tables for a whole day..Then back to jumping bones..yeah done..

I liked both of the characters but I wish we could know more about them. It was a good romance and I like the authors writing style.

I didn't dislike this book but I didn't really overly like it either. It just seemed like sex scenes without enough of an actual storyline. It was really short too...I wish it was longer and contained more non-sex scenes. Overall I just feel kinda 'meh' about this one.

Private Prick is the first book I've read from this author and it definitely will not be my last. I'm excited to read the first book Unlawful Entry because I enjoyed this one so much. Adam and Bekka's characters were great together. Although at times I wanted to shake some sense into Bekka, I still enjoyed her character. This was a steamy story from the very beginning and no only was it steamy, it was also a fun and light story. I found myself laughing out loud and smiling more than once at their actions. This was a great romance read that I think readers will enjoy. Would I recommend this story? Yes. I can't wait to read Unlawful Entry and see what other books I will enjoy from this author.

So glad to get Adam and bekka's story. These two are so fun together. The chemistry is off the charts.

I read the first book in this series and liked it okay- although I felt like it needed more of a story. But with Private Prick I felt like there was absolutely NO storyline. It was extremely short, but it was nothing but sexy scenes with no character connection or build up. I have the last book in the series, so I hope the author redeems herself for me in that one.

Ember Cole's Private Prick the 2nd book book in the Carnal Mischief series was an enjoyable read.
I really enjoyed seeing Bekka and Adam together. There is no question that the sexual energy between the two of them was intense but I found their vulnerability equally engaging.

Private Dick is the second of Ember Cole’s Carnal Mischief series, and I enjoyed this quick read much more than the first of the series. Bekka and Adam had fabulous chemistry from their first meeting and there were fun and humorous moments too. I would have loved the story to be a bit longer, but it was a thoroughly good read despite the novella length.

Loved this book. It’s highly addicting. The love, the struggle, the feelings make you feel like it’s you! Can’t wait to read the next one

Short, hot story about Bekka, trapped in the elevator of her building, and Adam the super who climbs into the elevator to see if she is okay. Cue hot hot moments. But will it lead to more?

After finding out her hookup is actually engaged, Bekka is about to throw in the towel on romance. That is until she gets stuck in an elevator and Adam comes to her rescue. What starts out as an hour stuck in an elevator ends with wild sex. But will the encounter end up in a true relationship? Or just casual sex? Filled with great sex scenes and interesting characters this book was a great read.

A short read, I read by the pool in one sitting. I liked this book better than the first one. I thought Bekka and Adam's story was going to be a lot spicier than that of his dad's story. I liked this plot line more. I just with it was longer.
