Description

New York City Police Commissioner Rick Raymond was a captain back in 2001 when terrorist planes struck the Twin Towers, killing thousands…including fellow police officers and Raymond’s wife. Ever since that awful day, as he climbed the ranks, Raymond vowed to protect his city, his police force, and citizens. For Raymond this means an uncompromising dedication to his duties, while at the same time juggling the political demands of his office – the grandstanding mayor, the ever-questioning press, and oh yes, his torrid (but secret) romance with District Attorney Sheilah Dannis. During the aftermath of a shooting in Times Square that left on cop dead and one gravely wounded, Raymond finds himself at the center of the drama when he confronts and takes out cop killer. When the cop killer is revealed to be a radical Islamic terrorist, Raymond’s vow takes him on a dangerous mission to save and protect New York City from another devastating attack – a mission that will take a very personal toll.

'The Grave Above the Grave" is a rather predictable and sometimes boring novel. It's a largely just okay read.

The Grave Above the Grave is an exciting action/crime novel. There isn’t a boring scene in the story. I liked the characters too and can hardly wait for the sequel.
Highly recommended.

This is a book that i would say was an ok read. There were twists, but i expect that as i read so many similar books, it didn't really grip me as much as i had hoped. The main thing is that it kept me reading it from start to finish. The writing style is good and this book wouldn't put me off from reading more by this author.

This book is about terrorist attacks told by a Police commissioner. I can't say I found the story interesting enough.

This was an okay read for me. There are so many terrorist attacks fiction books available that it starts to feel redundant. This story is told from a different perspective, of a police commissioner, which makes it interesting. I think I just couldn't get interested enough to really enjoy this one.

This book isn't this best written book but I think that its is an awesome story. Its about terrorist attacks in the United States but written in the perspective of a Police commissioner which makes the book different I don't think I've read something from this angle before.

I picked this up as I recall Mr. Kerik as the NYC Police Commissioner and thought he might have some good stories to tell... Sadly I was dissaponted and could not finish the book... Sorry

Bernard Kerik has written a very good thriller about the Commissioner of the NYPD and going after nasty terrorists. His writing and characters were very good. Bernard Kerik is a author, former police officer, veteran, consultant, and convicted felon. His real life experiences helps him write his books and makes them page turners. I can't wait for the next one.
