Cute pictures, rhyming text, great imagination. What is there not to love about this book? A great choice for the kids.

I love books that inspire children's imagination. This book is full of things to spark that in any child. Peanut a little girl and her dog Bosco turn their day into adventure after adventure. From pirate, to superhero, to mermaid, to princess and more they go through their day on rhyming adventures. They even turn chores into an adventure as robots. Beautifully illustrated and a fun bedtime story for the young children and good beginning reader for older children, I give praise to the authors for helping children be children!

This is a cute book, with adorable illustrations and easy to read rhyming text. The flow of the story is good with a beat from the poetic text. A little girl named Peanut wakes up and plans to spend her day with her dog Bosco. Peanut has a very active imagination and they spend the day having adventures. . They travel to sea to be pirates, under the sea where they become merpeople, space, medeival times and more. They will show children who hear their story wonderful ideas for their own creative play. At the end of the book, they prepare for bed and go to sleep. What a great story to read at bedtime to your own children. Perhaps they will have wonderful dreams about adventures they can have the next day. The publisher, Schiffer Kids, generously provided me with a copy of this book to read. The opinions stated are my own.

This is a fun book about a girl, her dog, and the many adventures they take in a day. The book rhymes throughout, but does not really have a cadence. There are many pages where you get a cadence going, to have it fall apart later. But saying that, the story is still enjoyable and the illustrations are bright, colorful and fun.

This colorful story celebrates the bond between kids and their pets, while suggesting that children can go far, literally and figuratively, by using their imagination.

A nice rhyming story about a girl and her dog and how she uses her imagination to create exciting adventures and fun. The illustrations are cute.

However, I think some of the words were a bit too much for young readers and some of the rhymes were a bit of a stretch. This loses some of the appeal for me.

This is a book filled with imagination and adventure, but is let down heavily by bad pacing with the rhyming, and also the feel that many of the rhyming words are shoehorned in for the rhyme rather than because they fit well.

The illustrations are bright and colourful which befit the story well, but feel like they could have been created in a piece of children's illustration software, and therefore lacks any feel of depth or true quality.

You'd fire up a decent amount of talk with your children about what adventures they could go on with this story, but the execution as a whole is quite heavily flawed.

In A Day in the Life of Peanut & Bosco, we follow the sweet team of Peanut and her darling doggy on their many adventures. They go around the world, visit a marine underground, go back in time, halt the advance of crime, and show that ties are strong between humans and their animal companions and that imagination can take us far.

A lovely and sweet little children's book that will make the perfect bedtime read for your little ones. The illustrations are purely stunning too so your children will enjoy looking at the book with you.

Adorable illustrations with easy to read rhyming text. A sweet little girl with a very active imagination spends a day having adventures with her dog Bosco. They are pirates, superheroes, merpeople, astronauts, a princess and knight, dinosaurs, cowboys, robots, a witch and her minion. They will give children who hear their story a multitude of ideas for their own creative play.

This bright and wonderful day in the life is full of imagination and joy. Peanut and Bosco are able to transport themselves to different times. However the joy is really gained from seeing how they use the world around them to their advantage. Perfect for any bedtime reading.
