title: The Sheikh's Tempting Assistant
Author: Leslie North
Series: The Sheikh's Meddling Sisters #1
Genre: adult romance
Netgalley ARC
pages : 135
Book synopsis:
Laura Bliss is an assistant location scout with no sense of direction—which is how she got stuck with a faulty GPS and the job of scouting sand dunes rather than the oasis her boss is currently viewing. With the sun going down and Laura seriously worrying for her life, she stumbles across a tent that looks more like a palace than a campsite. Dehydrated and burnt, it seems like salvation—until men wearing desert garb and toting AK47’s ride out in jeeps to gather her.
Sheikh Raheem can barely believe his luck when an American woman is brought into his tent. He is passionate about his country’s natural splendor, but its PR is in desperate need of a makeover—perhaps as much as the dirty beauty in front of him. He makes an offer: Laura, with her eye for finding the beauty in a location, will help him craft a campaign promoting his country, and when she completes the project he’ll send her back to America with a paycheck she can live on for years. Seeing a chance for financial freedom, Laura jumps at the opportunity.
As Raheem shows off the magnificence of his land, Laura finds herself getting swept into a fairy tale full of palaces, five-star luxury, and the most sensuous sex she’s ever experienced. Though she values her independence, the temptation to stay—not just for Raheem, but for the beautiful country that isn’t getting the attention it deserves—holds her in place. But when the country’s natural treasures are threatened, Raheem and Laura must decide what means more to them: their love for one another or their original plans

Would I recommend this series: yes
Just like her other books if your looking for a story to just lose yourself in then Leslie North's books are for you , because once you start reading her stories , you get lost in them and don't want the story to stop , with that said I want to thank Netgalley for letting me read and review it ,exchange for my honest opinion .
Laura and Sheikh Raheem's fairytale romance was a novella of pure enjoyment. Although a short read, the story is well developed with details that gives the reader a vivid picture of the love that blossoms between Raheem and Laura. Their chemistry is so good without them giving up who they are as people. Recommended for book lovers of royalty romances with happy endings, I would like to thank NetGalley and Relay Pub. for gifting me "The Sheikh's Tempting Assistant". My opinion is my own. This is mine. 4.25 Stars!
hmmmm...where to begin... I really tried to like this book, but it just didn't catch my attention. I typically LOVE leslie North books but this one just missed for me.
This is a typical sheikh story of meet and find out there is chemistry. Sheikh finds way to keep girl close to him they fall for each other. Usually most have major drama or misunderstanding that leads to them separating before it being solved. This had a small problem that was solved shortly after. Extremely quick read fell a little flat too me probably because of length
Explosive, when two volatile forces meet they combust, and wham, with so much smoldering heat in camp it was Laura that flag first and what a shocker she gave the sheik. A story that entices with its wild and beautiful moments. The desert heat has taken its turn on Laura and Raheem, fusing them tightly together. A sexy, exciting and entertaining story.
Raheem and Laura cross paths by accident however love grows as he shows her his country . Book 1 in sheikh's meddling sisters and looking forward to the rest of the stories.
Ebook from net galley and publishers with thanks. Opinions are entirely my own.
Leslie North always has a way of holding my attention and bringing me stories that not only satisfies my cravings but keeps me craving more. Hence why I always come back for more lol just love this Author and her books. I’ve never had a bad book or series from her and I love her stories. Another fantastic one again and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book and series. Totally recommend to all book lovers out there
Laura Bliss was someone he didn’t expect to come in barging into his world. She was definitely a breath of fresh air and unlike anyone he met before. Having her become his assistant would help bring his dream of a wildlife preserve a reality. Great beginning to a new series!
5 Stars for The Sheikh’s Tempting Assistant by Leslie North
Laura Bliss is scouting locations for the production company she works for when she stumbles upon the desert encampment of Sheikh Raheem & his family. Everyone but Raheem is very suspicious of her arrival & feel she is most likely up to no good & will use the opportunity to exploit the royal family.
Raheem can’t believe his luck that the beautful American has the talent & PR skills that would help bring his country into the spotlight - targeting all the amazing things he most loves about his homeland. He also wants to fulfill a dream of opening a wild life sanctuary & is hoping Laura will agree to work for him.
Sparks fly immediately when these two start working together 🔥🔥
Sheikh Romances are one of my favorite genre & the author does a great job with this book. So easy to imagine being on the sidelines watching the romance between Laura & Raheem unfold !!
Great story - quick ❤️❤️read with a great HEA!!
Action packed, sweetly thrilling, emotionally exciting romantic adventure filled with love, loyalty, passion and family .... completely enjoyed reading this story from beginning to the very end ... was a relaxing afternoon read.
This is my first Shiekh's book. I found it to be a fast paced read with lots of intense romance. If you enjoy HEA it is a great read.
Thank you netgalley for this arc.
Loved reading the first book in The Sheikh's Meddlesome Sisters. Laura is lost and ends up where Sheikh Raheem's family is vacationing. Raheem has the perfect job for Laura. Read the highly recommended love story. I reviewed a copy of the book through NetGalley.
Disappointed…. I received a free copy of this book from the publisher through Netgallery. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. The characters in the book were not believable to me. They were inconsistencies in the stories as well; the Sheikh's family ruled the country but it was also a democracy. I didn't realize there was explicit sex since I picked up an advanced copy but I won't judge on that. I just didn't like the book.
Laura is an assistant scout for a production company. She loves her job but is not treated fairly. Raheem is a Sheikh and has taken on the responsibility of preserving the wildlife in its natural habitat. But he needs an assistant to help him promote his project to the tourist Raheem is on a much needed break when Laura’s GPS messed up and she ended up lost but found Raheem’s camp. Raheem was a much needed break. After Raheem’s security brings Laura to him they talk some and she says he has an attitude and gave him a piece of her mind which shocked and amused Raheemat the same time and then he takes her back to the palace from his camp soon after they have an in-depth discussion and Raheem finds out how bad Laura had been treated on her current job makes a proposal to work for his foundation to protect the animals and Laura agrees. She will help Raheem promote the nature preserve for a lot of money so Laura takes the job. Raheem and Laura feel a mutual strong attraction but Raheem doesn’t mix business with pleasure and fights the attraction.
I loved this book and Leslie North did a great job once again. I felt like I was there with Raheem and Laura. I was glad she left the production company and went to work for Raheem to help him with his foundation. This was a great romance but an easy fun read which made me chuckle at times and choked up at others. I loved when Laura gave Raheem a piece of her mind. This was a little short but didn’t lack anything in the story. I also loved how the Ms. North described the beauty of the locations I also loved Raheem and Laura together, they had such a hot chemistry. This book has drama, suspense, danger, romance, beautiful scenery, broken hearts, adventure, twists and turns, and surprises but also a whole lot more. I would have liked a little more background on Laura and Raheem but wasn’t necessary and didn’t take away form this book. I loved the characters and the twists and turns of this book and I highly recommend.
Laura Bliss is an assistant location scout stuck scouting in the desert because her boss is a jerk. She gets lost and stumbles upon the campsite of Raheem and his family. Raheem and his brothers are trying to save their country from the disaster their father left. He hires Laura to help him with a PR campaign to promote tourism in his country.
Another wonderful Sheikh book from Leslie North. I loved Laura and Raheem. This was a great short and steamy read!
I received a complimentary ARC from NetGalley and the publisher. Thank you!
American Laura Bliss is out scouting the sand dunes of Djeva in the Arab Republic when she stumbles upon the tents of Sheikh Raheem. When Reheem insists on helping Laura back to civilization he offers her an opportunity she can’t resist, help him launch a PR campaign to promote his country and all the beauty it has to offer. Not only falling in love with the land, Laura finds herself falling for the handsome sheikh also.
While the story has been told many times in just as many different ways, Leslie North has managed to write the story of a lost woman in in foreign country and take it up a step further. The only downside is that the book ended too quickly, it seemed a little rushed towards the end. The upside is that we can expect another book soon in this new series.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. First in a series. This one was sort of our there to me. Laura was so combative and hostile at first-class she know the culture? Is cussing acceptable for women? Then the whole quick love, and to top it off I didn't understand the film company buying land situation??! What the heck?? It is a quick read and the country seems fascinating. I rate this a 3. I think many romance readers can overlook the confusing parts and just focus on the romance.
Laura is an assistant location scout for a movie production company. She is Djeva to scout locations for a movie. She gets lost and ends up in the camp of the Sheikh Raheem, the third in line for the throne. He takes her back to the palace and offers her a job. Help him promote his country and preserve the wildlife. She takes him up on his offer but his sister are whispering in his ear that she’s using him. But Raheem has falling hard and fast for Laura and her for him. When he thinks she has deceived him, can he keep his favorite caves and the woman he’s fallen for?
Short story. Could’ve used a little more background on Laura and Raheem. Steamy. Romance in a foreign country. Meddling sister.
A chance meeting, a bold request and the opportunity of a lifetime is what sums up this story to me.
You have, Laura, a location scout assistant who gets lost while looking for the perfect location to shoot a film and she runs into Raheem. He's composed and calm on the outside, and also cautious because she's wandered right into their secured territory and as a Sheikh, that's alarming but Laura's not just bold, she's feisty and inquisitive. Raheem's learned to hold back on his answers and impulses. Together, they make the perfect team.
I liked the story and how Laura was not shy to reach out to Raheem and initiate intimacy.
Thank you NetGalley for the eARC.
