Very cute story about a girl that works at a shelter and a major league baseball player. Who find their way thanks to a stray dog with lots of puppies!

No way would I have a drooling dog in a classic car like a Mustang.

It's nice of her to help, but she randomly carries around dog treats?

She had faith that her stuff wouldn't get stolen, but she won't accept a ride from a stranger.

I was wondering why he gave the dog such a formal name.

John Roland's story is so sad.

Well, I definitely don't like her mom.

Very sweet. The part from the dog is great. Beautiful love story betwenn Tess and Mason. It could have been a little bit longer. The end id coming too soon.

This was a well written and enjoyable story but you MUST love dogs. It doesn't just have characters that have dogs in the story, they are a very big part of the story. While i did enjoy the story, the dog aspect got too much for me and so its not my favorite .

It is my first time reading this author and this series so I didn't realise that. That said it is well written and I enjoyed the two main characters romance.

Wow, this was a heartbreaker in the best way possible. I adore the Reascue Me series, but this is the first time the author took us a little deeper into the horror that some of the shelter animals may have experienced as a stray.
SPOILER ALERT
I loved the slow burn between Tess and Mason, and the rescue of the puppies was heart wrenching. I understand the mum had to die for the story, but it was also a sharp reminder of the realities of the situation. The chapters from the dog’s point of view were very much anthropomorphic, but they definitely tear your heart out. Sometimes humans are just horrible, but that’s not exactly news.
Despite all that My Forever Home is engaging, compelling, and wonderful to read.
I sincerely hope that #4 is Ben’s story.
