This is book 2 in the Glamour series. This is Ryan and Amanda's story. They are both people who have pain and troubles in their past which make it hard for them to trust. Ryan didnt come off in a favorable light in book 1 but wow book 2 redeems him in a huge way!! Ryan really had to hit bottom to rise up from the ashes and find his way back up to the top. Amanda is the perfect match for Ryan...she, too, had her own troubles that she had to face in order to rise back up to the top. This story had wonderful twists and turns that kept me hooked until the end. Ms. Marr is a talented storyteller who weaves a unique tale that keeps you interested in the main characters and also secondary characters introduced.

My Rating: 4.5 stars *****

Really enjoyed this book in the series; it's got plenty of chemistry and heat between Amanda and Ryan, and plenty of emotions throughout the story. I was happy to see the change in Amanda over the course of the story; going from a meek, mild woman to someone learning to speak their mind when needed and warranted was fantastic.

Ryan and Amanda's story was very good. I love how Maggie's character's always seem to be finding themselves and struggling in a relationship that they can't have.
The references to alcoholism and recovery were bang on. I have watched many people struggle with addiction and to see a writer who writes about the plight of addiction so clearly is refreshing.
I can't wait for book 3!

I think this is my favorite out of the series. Ryan was a broken guy who drank, partied, slept his way through Hollywood although the story never dove too deep into the reasons why he turned to the bottle and drugs other than rough childhood and abusive father. Amanda was a sweet and super classy lady even though she had every right to throw a fit or cuss someone out or even hit Kiley she went above classy and stood on higher ground. I loved her character and Ryan's and they had amazing chemistry. Loved everything about this story.
