Be warned! This series is addictive! Hudson and Erica's story is great. Things are turned upside down when unexpected things occur. Hudson just sounds like a neanderthal trying not to be. Funny how that works out for him. This is a fast, hot and often sweet read. I received an advanced copy of this book. I freely leave this honest review!

Wolf's Mate is a sweet and sexy story that proves once again that communication is the most important thing in a relationship. Erica wants more than just sex. She thinks that Hudson is old enough and alpha enough that if he wanted more he would tell her. When he doesn’t she leaves only to find out she is pregnant. She sure as hell doesn’t want him mating with her just because she is knocked up. Can these two get it straight?
A fun romp that will leave you with a smile on your face.

Wolf's Mate (Crescent Moon, #7) by Katie Reus I have been enjoying the CRESCENT MOON series... Erica and Hudson are another couple who have to go through some angst and also some hot sex and some laughs to get to their HEA.. Thanks to #NetGalley for allowing me to preview this book. Hudson is older in wolf years and feels Erica will feel he is pressuring her...she thinks he only wants a good time and does not care deep enough. This was a fun read and I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Erica and Hudson met when she was roaming around the country. Their relationship started quickly but after a month of casual sex, she realised she wanted more, but didn’t think Hudson felt the same - so she left and went back to her Pack. Now she’s pregnant and she needs to tell him! Hudson has been miserable without Erica and has decided to go get her and bring her back with him to mate. But when he arrives in her home town, he finds out she’s on their Pack’s land!

Wolf’s Mate is what I’d class as the perfect filler read and for what it lacks in storyline depth, it makes up for in instant attraction heat and character likeability.

“If you run, I’ll chase you down.”

Due to its short length there’s actually not a huge amount I can say—I read in one sitting, enjoyed all round and the fact I haven’t read the previous six novellas in the series was of no detriment. Another score for Katie Reus and I’m definitely going to check out the others in the series.

Another winner from Katie Reus. Erica is visiting another wolf pack and meets Hudson. She loves him but he never asks her to be his mate so she leaves and goes back to Alabama. He is miserable without her but just won't commit. When Erica is back in Alabama, she realized that she is pregnant . She doesn't want him if it's just because she's pregnant. Will Hudson come to his senses and change his mind about her? Great story. Loved Erica. I received this book from Net Galley and KR Press, LLC for an honest review and no compensation otherwise.

Hudson and Erica agree to a casual fling. A fling that Erica is now wishing was more. When it’s time for her to return to her home state, Hudson’s “stay a few more days” isn’t the proclamation of love she would like. A month later she’s returning to Hudson because things just got serious and she is forced to confront him, this time in person rather than phone, text or Skype.

This is a very nice shifter novella that starts after this couple have been together. I loved how Hudson, from a different generation than Erica, was trying not to rush her but once she returned he wouldn’t let her leave. While Erica was pretty independent, I appreciated that she longed for that something more from Hudson. I never felt truly aggravated with him as the story wasn’t long enough to give me a chance to garner those emotions.

Hudson is all alpha, all possessive, and all protective and this novella was long enough to highlight that fact. A fact that I love. There are secondary characters that support the hero and heroine and some that I would like to have more from. The steam is high as is the chemistry between these two. Overall, a very enjoyable read when you need something fast with a great alpha hero.

This series of novellas is really enjoyable. You can read them as standalone so you aren't missing out if you hop into this one first.

Normally I don't enjoy the reluctant hero very much but the author did a great job of showing us that he had no doubts when it came to Erica. Hudson is over a 100 years older than her and he thought with her being so much younger that he would scare her off if he got all possessive with her right away. He clearly showed he wanted her to stay. Unfortunately, Erica expected him to want to claim her right away so his hesitancy to do so sent her the wrong signals.

This may sound like this is an angsty read, but it really isn't. I didn't worry over these two because their feelings for each other clearly translated on the pages. This is the kind of book I like to read if I want something quick, fun and that will satisfies my like for a jealous/possessive hero.

Book 7 in the Crescent Moon series brings us Erica and Hudson. Erica has been traveling and trying to find her place in the world. When she gets to Colorado she meets Hudson and begins what was supposed to be a no strings fling, never expecting to fall for him. She thinks Hudon just wants something casual. And because she is afraid of heartache, she goes home to her pack. Hudson didn't want to scare Erica, so he thought if he took things slow that she would understand how he felt and stay. Now he understands that he made a mistake in letting her think his feelings were casual. The only problem? Now he has to convince her she is his mate because he loves her and not because she is pregnant.

This is a quick read that takes you back to the Crescent Moon series. I really like Erica and her how she isn't afraid to speak her mind. And the way she handles Hudson actually made me laugh in places. Because there is an age difference between them Hudson makes the mistake of thinking he shouldn't act the way his people have acted when they find their mate. And reading about their reactions to his statement about that made me laugh. Of course his brother made me crack up too! I can only hope this author keeps this series going as I happen to love it!

I've read only one other book in this series, but this one is stand alone so you won't be lost if you just read it.

Erica and Hudson sure do know how to set the sheets on fire, or rip them up. He lets her leaves because she's so much younger (like 100 years) and doesn't want to pressure her into anything. Dumb guy move. She comes back when she realizes she's pregnant.

There wasn't a whole lot of story, no real drama, no real bad guys (just dumb teenagers), no emotional angst. Just a nice little story.

It is a pretty straightforward story with just a couple of twists. Twins!.! It made me smile, because sometimes guys are just dense. This is Hudson and Erica's story. She is from Alabama, and he lives in the woods of Montana. Not sure if this is the beginning of a series or if its somewhere in the middle. It reads great as a stand alone. I think that most paranormal romance readers will enjoy this book. I give it a solid 4. Let me know if you agree.

Really quick read I couldn't put down even after my lunch break ended.
Hudson and Erica have spent a wonderful month together with no strings attached. Secretly, they both want more, but neither admits it. A month after Erica goes home to her pack, she learns she is pregnant. Back to Hudson's pack for a visit. Only, she doesn't realize that he came for her.
Seriously, this was a sweet love story.
This was my first book from either author. It is book 7 in the series, but can be read as a standalone.

This was a quick, enjoyable read. I read this in one sitting. Once misunderstandings were dealt with, this couple was able to get their HEA. They were cute together. I loved the epilogue. I want Malcom’s book next.

You pretty much get exactly what is laid out in the synopsis, folks. After working through a little bit of relationship angst, Hudson and Erica lay their hearts on the line and their misunderstandings/miscommunications behind them. Ultimately, both getting exactly what they want and need, each other.

This was a quick, easy, romantic read without a lot of fanfare or unexpected drama. Even if you aren’t an avid wolf shifter paranormal fan, you can’t help but root for this likable main couple.
