I thought this would be interesting in the beginning but I quickly lost passion in this book and felt that it would be better for a different reader.

This book was a trip down memory lane for me. My grandparents owned a house at Pawley’s and I was lucky enough to visit every summer as a child. This is a middle grade book about friendship and a Scooby Doo style mystery. It connects the food, locations, and history of the island. I found the characters like able and well written. It was a fun read and for me a visit with an old friend.
