Fiona is about to embark on an adventure with her best friend Parker. Since her company is on the verge of collapsing since they are in dire need of landing an account she finally decides to go for it. They meet Wyatt one night and things begin to blossom between the three of them. How will they feel when the find out Wyatt is after the same account. Book ends on a cliffhanger and I’m still desperate to find out how it ends.
Oh where to begin...
There were so many times throughout this book that I was tempted to stop reading, because I just didn't feel the connection between all the characters. But I pushed through, hoping that by the end that it would be there.
It never happened.
Parker and Fiona had a great friendship vibe, but I really struggled that they felt more than an incredible friendship to each other. It almost felt like a friends with benefit thing.
And then we have Wyatt...
It takes a very talented writer to tell a menage story in which the reader feels the connection between all three characters. Unfortunately that was not done in this book. I didn't feel like he was anything more than a bed buddy to Parker and Fiona. And in their defense I don't think he thought of them more than that either. If that was the premise and purpose of the story, I'd be okay with that. But it seemed like the author was trying to push a connection that wasn't there (i.e. the ending).
And let's talk about the ending... it takes FOREVER to get there and then it ends on a cliffhanger. And a lousy one at that. Honestly, I can't figure out what more needs to occur in the second book that didn't already happen?

An okay story for the most part. Hot in spots but seemed a little slow in spots. I did like the main characters
This is the first book of a duet and I really liked it! It was a little confusing in the beginning but it just got better.
The story is fast-paced and entertaining and the chemistry is steamy. Looking forward to the next book.
