Wow what a story! Never Let Me Fall will take you through the ringer with the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. It is the third book in the Fatal Dreams series however you can easily read it without reading the previous books however the other books are so good and I recommend them as well. This is the story of Helena Grayse or Helen as we know her in the story. She has been in prison for 10 years. Convicted of murdering her boyfriend when she was 18 even though she claimed innocence. She stopped talking when she entered prison and now 10 years later she has been released but remains silent to the outside world. Thomas Brown is an outside consultant for the police department. He was abused as a child and has lost his ability to see color. He moves through life but isn't living. What neither of them realize is that their lives will intersect and what happens will answer all the questions that each have if only they have the strength to trust each other and support each other to achieve the answers that they both need. Thomas's sister Evanee is briefly mentioned. Her story was in Hunt the Dawn (Fatal Dreams #2). Never Let Me Fall is beautifully written, haunting in it's memories for our hero and heroines pasts and will keep you riveted until the end. It's written from dual POV and I cannot recommend it enough to fans of paranormal psychological thriller romance!

If your looking for a Paranormal Suspense book that totally unique this is the book for you. I have to admit I was not a Thomas fan. In the early books he was kind if a jerk but after finding out about his childhood I can understand why. I love the recurring reincarnation theme in all the books. You can't help but root for Thomas and Helena they've been through so much. They deserve a HEA. Abbie Roads is on my auto buy list because I know its gonna be a five star read that is unlike anything you've read before! Keep them coming!!

Amazing read! Had me from page one. A must read for any romance fan. Highly recommend this book. Such feels!!!

I don't know where the author gets the ideas for her books, but wow, this was so good. I like how the story tied in with the previous books and I loved how the characters are able to heal each other after all that they've been through. I was so into this one that I hated having to put it down for real life stuff lol. I definitely look forward to reading more by this author. I recommend Never Let Me Fall to fans of dark romance with paranormal twists.

Abbie Roads continues to amaze me with her action packed suspenseful romances. She grabs the reader from the very first page ,by placing you right next to the heroine, Helena Grayse, as she fights for her life. The reader is quickly introduced to the hero, Thomas Brown, as he investigates a murder scene. The chemistry between these characters just leaps from the pages, along with their psychic abilities. The element of combining past tragedies with a mind reaching psychic ability truly enhances the story’s suspenseful impact.
The only part of the story I didn’t like was that it ended! I enjoyed being able to connect again with characters from one of Ms Roads’ previous novels. I will be eagerly awaiting the next novel, positive it will manage to leave this great work in the dust! Thank you Ms Roads for your in-depth character development and the ability to make the unlikely possible.
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is Book 3 in the Fatal Dreams series. This was the first book that I’ve read by this author. You can read this as a stand-alone, but it would make more sense if you read the first two books. It’s based around a story that Helena’s grandfather told her about the lives of Fearless and Bear but she’s not sure if it’s a true story or not. The story starts with Helena in prison and she’s going to be released the next day, that is if she can make it out alive. I’m not sure if the story of why she’s in prison starts in the first books or not but the part where’s she’s in prison didn’t make a lot of sense. But it doesn’t take that much away from the story. Thomas was severely hurt as a child and now can’t see color. He’s also able to find things out by touching dead bodies. He sees Helena at the cemetery where they are getting ready to bury his mother. The events after that will keep you gripping the edge of your seat. You may even want to make sure someone is in the house with you, so you won’t be along. I really enjoyed reading this book and if you like mysterious spooky things, you need this book. Now I’m off to read the first 2 books. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book from Netgalley.

rah-rah-sis-boom-bah
First, I have to say that book cover is perfect. Black and white with a burst of color between Thomas and Helena. You won't have to invest much time into the book to discover how accurate the cover is.
touch
In the Fatal Dreams novels you learn how important touch is. Thomas and Helena discover their destiny and love for one another. But the most important part of their unique love is all in the touch. Touch heals. Touch protects.
I felt a connection with Thomas and Helena which made the love scenes beautiful and vivid.
Now don't settle yourself down and expect to read about soft bunnies and pretty rainbows. Abbie shows us two sides of a coin. The shiny, bright side and the tarnished, damaged side. It's a dark, paranormal romance with lots of suspense and a sadistic, creepy bad guy.
Final note, Thomas's paranormal ability to read and see shadows of death was awesome! I just love Abbie's creativeness and wonderful storytelling.
I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review.

I really like Abbie Roads, but this book fell short for me. I think the main issue was how fast it moved with the sexual stuff. I typically like to have more time to feel connected to the characters, feel out the couple a bit more, before I start seeing things get heated. In this case, the woman is injured, mute, and living in a tent in the guy's backyard, and he acts like this is all normal. No biggie, let's have sex! It was just weird. Didn't feel natural, and I couldn't really understand their relationship after that. It was a bit too odd for me - I got the feeling that it was supposed to be a soul mate type of thing, but it didn't come across that way effectively.

This book literally made my stomach shake and curdle with horror! That how good this author is at storytelling. Abbie Roads has written an absolutely fabulous thriller/romance. It has mystery and psychological aspects that are mind blowing. Just when I thought I had things figured out Abbie threw me a curveball. This book keeps you interested and guessing for nearly the entire book. It’s perfect! You are totally invested. The story of Fearless and Bear, a folktale, is one I love and the way the stories Abbie writes are tied together with this story makes it even better. The love between Helena and Tommy is epic and the thing we all search a lifetime for and so well written we feel it deep down. Hopefully you feel from this review how deeply I enjoyed this book. Do yourself a favor and read this and ALL of Abbie Roads’ books.

There was a bit of a wait between this book and the last one that I read in the series, almost two years. I had to refresh my mind, once I did then the story flowed smoothly.
All the pain that both Helen and Thomas had to endure would have ruined most. But together they overcome quite a bit.

Never let Me Fall is the third book in the Fatal Dreams series. It features Thomas Brown, who uses his special powers to work with criminal investigators to solve crimes. Helena Grayse and Thomas are thrown together but little do they know that a serial killer is closer than they would like. If you haven't read this series I highly suggest you start from the beginning.

Abbie Roads writes another winner! She is fast becoming the type of author where you see her name and buy her book, because you know it'll be good!
Thomas Brown suffered greatly at the hands of his stepfather, who abused him. He wore the abuse on his face from the damage caused when he was a little boy. To try to shield himself, he kept the abuse to himself. An injury left not just a scar and loss of seeing colors, but an ability to see the shadow of death. An ability that as an adult, he used in law enforcement to help solve crimes.
Helena Grayse was serving time for murder of her boyfriend, Rory Elis. She also has suffered from abuse at the hands of women inmates, who refer to themselves as The Sisters. Despite many attempts on her life, Helena has survived. When she is released, Helena decides to pay respects to Rory Ellis and her grandparents. Nostalgia pulls her back to her grandparents' home where happy memories reside.
A chance encounter between Thomas and Helena leaves them both feeling a deep connection. Helena is too aware of how people view her and plans to leave Sundew, Ohio. When Thomas discovers Helena camping on his property, he'll move heaven and earth to get Helena to stay with him.
If you enjoy paranormal romantic thrillers, then you'll love Never Let Me Fall. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley via Sourcebooks Casablanca and have provided an honest review.

I’ve never read a storyline quite like this. It was suspenseful and kept me on the edge of my seat wanting to find out what would happen next.

Sometimes the transitions between scenes were choppy and a little confusing but if you push past those, this is an intriguing and edgy read.

It’s been a long time since I’ve felt a book was worthy of all five stars, but Abbie Roads has broken that streak!
Never Let me Fall is a wild ride following Thomas and Helena!
This book was enlightening, interesting, and all consuming. I was obsessed from the first chapter to the very last word.
Abbie has a way of bringing her characters to life, even when they couldn’t possibly exist. (Or maybe they could, who really knows!)
My only complaint is that Thomas’ “ability” wasn’t more prevalent throughout.
That being said, this may be one of my top reads for the year!

This book was amazing!
The way Abbie Roads writes makes you feel like you're watching the story unfold.
The story is so full of adventure, with lots of twists and suspense that I was on the edge of my seat on and off through the book.
As the plot unravels you see some romance with some strange paranormal happenings. It's intriguing how the story reads, I found it fascinating.
I love the characters they are also very interesting.
I can't wait to read more from this author.

Wow I’ve never read a storyline quite like this. It was suspenseful and kept me on the edge of my seat wanting to find out what would happen next yet it was also so sweet how the two main characters found each other and brought the best of each other out. My heart broke for them then it cheered them on as they were finally getting their happiness they much deserved. I felt every emotion in this story it was just so good well written. I haven’t read the other books in the series prior to reading this one but I didn’t feel lost or like I needed to but I definitely want to now.

I was very intrigued by the description of the book and wanted to read it. So glad I did. What a totally different story than I've ever read, but I loved it. To get the full affect I think I need to go back and read the other books in this series, which I look forward to.
I felt this book was very suspenseful and had great twists and turns. Helena is released from prison having survived crazy danger behind bars. Now a convicted felon, Helena is starting her life completely over. Thomas Brown has led a life in darkness and shadows, having lost the ability to see color due to an injury in his childhood. When he sees Helena he sees color. That in itself is interesting but throw in all the other details and nuances and this book is one you'll find hard to put down.

A brilliant read with a brilliant storyline and characters and I will look forward to reading more from you from this author thank you for my arc

I'm sorry but I just couldn't finish this book. I have never read any of the authors previous books so I did not know what I was getting myself into. This book had too much of my triggers that it definitely needs a disclaimer before you read it. All I can say is that it has rape, molestation, physical abuse, mental abuse, pedophilia and magic (sure ok).
