Sexy easy read. Didn't want to put down. Loved. Fun likeable characters. Love me since shifters and hot alphas and this book had it all.

This was a great anthology by Eve Langlais, Kate Baxter, and Milly Taiden. All three authors always bring humor, and fun to their stories and they do here as well.
All of these stories are with characters mentioned in the first anthology. This one was much better than the first one. My favorite Is "Bearing His Touch" by Eve Langlais.
I highly recommend this book to readers of Paranormal fiction, and to those who like laughs. These three authors together are a sure win!

This was a great anthology by Eve Langlais, Kate Baxter and Milly Taiden. All three authors always bring spice, humor and fun to their stories and they do here as well.

In Bearing his touch we see Stavros, who we met in a previous anthology get to pursue his mate. I liked that the bad guys in this book were interesting and unique. I also liked that Becka was a determined and strong female character. Stavros was an alpha personality but a marshmallow for Becka and his family. *Sigh*

In Fake Mated to the Wolf, Milly Taiden brings us back to several of her repeat characters and their friends Shawna and Hawke. I liked that Shawna wasn't intimidated by Hawke and stood up to him even though he was her boss. I also liked her back story and the fact that Hawke was so observant in his business that he noticed the issue with Shawna's boss before someone told him. They were a great read not only for their story but their experiences as well.

Kate Baxter to me is unique in her storytelling. Her characters are unique and different from each other in many ways but well suited for each other. I liked that Ellie was so able to fit into Colin's world and that Colin was a werewolf trying to find his own slice of life separate of his pack. I liked that we saw repeat characters and that they built the surrounding world in Ms. Baxter's creation. I loved the way Colin was willing to do what Ellie needed instead of what he wanted.

I strongly recommend this book to readers of Paranormal fiction, and to those who like heat and laughs. These three authors together are a sure win!

Bearing His Touch by Eve Langlais

Becka is in a whole heap of trouble. She was kidnapped by a seriously deluded guy, I mean c'mon he thinks he's a vampire! She has no clue why he thinks her blood is amazing and will give him superpowers! When she manages to escape she manages to find safety in the arms of Stavros.

Stavros may have been canned from the police force, who knew they took a dim vision on appropriating pot?!?! But he is still a good guy, with strong protective instincts. He knows Becka is in dire straits and he wants to be the one to save her. After all she is his mate..he just needs to explain about being a bear!

Hilariously funny when Stavros' crazy clan come clomping into his apartment! I enjoyed unravelling Becka's back story and why the rich dude was obsessed with her.

Fake Mated to the Wolf by Milly Taiden

Mates fur Hire have gone from strength to strength. But the guy in charge is a misogynistic, sexist, weasel. When his so called assistant (i.e She actually does all the work!) finally quits, the CEO becomes aware of the departments problems. He has been trying to track down his elusive mate from months, trying not to come on too strong an frighten her off. But now the ball is in his court and he is determined that he'll turn this "fake" mating into a real life HEA!

Hilariously funny, I loved catching up with these characters from the early books.

The Witch, The Werewolf and The Waitress by Kate Baxter

Lowman, Idaho; middle of nowhere and the town that Ellie has been trapped in after a jealous rival cursed her to never leave the town limits. Now centuries later, she has reinvented herself so often that she just wants to be left alone.

Colin wants to be a Sentry and take care of his pack. He did not factor in on meeting his mate or her being so mysterious. But if they work together they may just free Ellie from her prison.

Fab story and intriguing characters.

I got this for Eve Langlais contribution and I was not disappointed! I thought Stavros and Becka were a great match!

I freely admit I am addicted to shifter romance. This anthology has great reads for me. My favorite Is "Bearing His Touch" by Eve Langlais. Stavros had me smiling with his antics. Ellie's situation in The Witch, The Werewolf and the Waitress was a unique read. All were very well written.

Another great anthology by Eve Langlais, Milly Taiden, and Kate Baxter. These 3 have ties to the previous anthologies that these authors have released together. But you don't need to read those first in order to read these.
Book 1 is Bearing His Touch by Eve Langlais. It's about Becka and Stavros. Becka had been kidnapped and abused. When the opportunity comes to try to escape, she takes it. And when she is almost caught by one of her jailers, Stavros steps in to save her. And realizes she is his mate. Now he not only has to keep her safe and get rid of her kidnapper, but convince her that he is the one for her.

I love all of this author's book and this one is just another one to love! It kept me interested from the start and had me all over the place on what I was feeling. Becka went through hell and she is so strong that she still manages to not only stay sane but try to keep herself and others safe. Stavros makes me laugh so hard! The conversations he has with his bear alone were worth the read LOL! But I loved the way he was with Becka and with his family. Loved it!

Book 2 is Fake Mated to the Wolf by Milly Taiden. This is Hawke and Shawna's story. Shawna has been working for Hawke's company when everything seems to take a turn for the worst. Not only professionally but personally. Hawke has to convince Shawna not only to come back to the company but to understand that she is his mate and let him get close to her. And help her family be safe and happy.

I really liked this one. Shawna is dealing with so much and just struggling to survive when it just seems to get worse. And reading about her realizing that her friends will do anything and everything to help her is great. The chemistry these two have is off the charts and the way they treat each other is great. I especially liked the fact that Hawke helped someone she cared about just because it was the right thing to do. Stand up man!

Book 3 is The Witch, The Werewolf, and The Waitress by Kate Baxter. This one is about Colin and Ellie. Ellie is a waitress that Colin meets when he stops to get breakfast. And realizes that she is his mate. But things don't go great from the start, and made me laugh quite hard! When Ellie finds him hurt in the woods, she does what is right and brings him back to her cabin. Not knowing that he is a werewolf or really anything about the supernatural world other than what she already knows. And Ellie has her own secrets and issues. Such as being cursed by a vindictive witch.

I liked this one although it wasn't my favorite out of these books. I had a hard time liking Ellie. I really liked Colin and thought his actions to free his mate were great. And Ellie did redeem herself in my opinion. I just felt like she was one of those poor pitiful me women for a while. Once you get farther into the story it definitely gets better. And I would still read it again because on a whole it was a good read. And I am sure other people will probably love her. She just wasn't to my tastes.

All in all this anthology was a good read. I liked some parts more than others but on a whole it is well worth the read!

Bearing His Touch by Eve Langlais

Becka’s story started out dark, but there’s light at the end of the tunnel when she encounters Stavros and his ‘beary’ tongue-in-cheek self! I enjoyed the mix of suspense, romance, and the humor! Leave it to bear shifter’s and their silliness to lighten things up. Stavros and his family were honeybuns of crazy fun, which helped make their story my favorite of the batch!

Fake Mate to the Wolf by Milly Taiden

Hawke has found his mate, but is clueless how to approach her. However, when Shawna personal problems come to light, Hawke steps up to the plate. So, I didn’t connect with the romance. It took too long to establish the pull to one another. I did, however, find Shawna and Hawke amusing with all the misunderstandings. This one may have worked out better for me if it had been longer in length.

The Witch, the Werewolf, and the Waitress by Kate Baxter

Ellie has been stuck in podunk nowhere for centuries due to a witch’s curse. Colin stumbles upon Ellie and realizes she’s his fated mate by pure luck. He’s determined to help her, knowing the potential risk of losing Ellie just when he found her. This was the heaviest in the mix. Ellie’s loneliness was a weight of misery! She was a survivor though, and watching her open up to Colin and his wolf turned out to be sweet deal.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

In the Mood Fur Love contains three fast paced short stories about three `damsels in distress` in need for an sexy shifter alpha rescuer.

Bearing His Touch by Eve Langlais:
An abused `wild rose` on the run finds her happiness, wedged between two trash bins, behind a strip bar.

Fake Mated To The Wolf by Milly Taiden:
The big wolf has to convince his clueless, stubborn `fake` mate; who knows how to use " The Womennizer".

The Witch, the Werewolf, and the Waitress by Kate Baxter:
The `fallen off a cliff` werewolf has to rescue his hot tempered cursed waitress.

Bearing his touch: Cute and somewhat believeable story, also brings back the adorable and crazy Bear clan. Stavros is a goner for his mate and his mate is an unexpected surprise. This short brings Vampires into the mix and since Becka is a descendant, that makes it interesting for what the future holds, both for her and for this storyline. Cute book.

Fake Mated to the Wolf: Did not like this storyline at all—this kidnapping/payment side-story was not believeable at all and made the plot ridiculous.

The Witch, the werewolf and the waitress: Another cute story that parallels the other in the previous stories. Great to see some continuity and old characters return. The fact that Ellie had NO CLUE that her curse could be thwarted and a werewolf figures it out in like 20 min was ridiculous. I’ve never really liked the whole, “if she doesn’t accept me as her mate I will go crazy and have to be put down like a rabid dog”, sidebar. Kind of makes it unsavory..
Overall an entertaining read, some better than others.

Three awesome story's. While I am a fan of Eve Langlais, Milly Taiden, I am a new fan of Kate Baxter.
Bearing His Touch by Eve Langlais
When Becka manages to escape her kidnapper, she finds herself asking help of the man with the nice brown eyes. Stavros can’t say no, not when he knows Becka is his mate, but he does have one dilemma when it comes to claiming her. He'll have to find a way for her to bear his touch.
My review: This story is what you would expect from Ms. Langlais. Arrogant male, who's sweet, over protective and funny. Becka has been through hell, she's shy, sweet and wants to protect everyone from what's chasing her. Together they are perfect. The supporting characters are beyond amusing. Loved the story.

Fake Mated to the Wolf by Milly Taiden
Looking for a mate to bring to a party? Wedding? Holiday gathering? Mates Fur Hire is right for you? But what happens when your fake mate ends up being your real one.
My review: There is so much more to this short story then in the description that is given. Shawna is busting her hump to help her mother and brothers out of a bad situation. She has two best friends who are both mated and at a gathering with these friend's she meets Hawke Hawke....that's not a typo that's his name.
Hawke owns the company Shawna just got fired from by her idea stealing boss. Hawke is Shawna's mate he knows it she doesn't have a clue. These two characters are wonderful. I really enjoyed their journey. The supporting characters are a bonus.

The Witch, The Werewolf and The Waitress by Kate Baxter
For centuries, Lowman, Idaho has been Ellie Curtis's prison. A vengeful witch cursed her with immortality and locked her within the confines of Lowman's borders, sealing Ellie off from most of civilization for eternity. She's learned to make the most of it. But when she meets a cocky werewolf who's part of the elite supernatural law enforcement group, all bets are off...

Colin instantly knew that Ellie was his mate, but when he discovers her secret, he's determined to help set her free. But in doing so, he might just lose the one thing he knows he can't live without

My review; I haven't had the pleasure of reading anything by Kate Baxter and I'm so happy I got the chance. The story and characters were intriguing, entertaining and made me want to read more. For a short story it didn't feel that way. Now I get to go on a read more of her books.
Thanks to Netgally and St. Martin’s Press for allowing me to read and review this book.

Three hot shifter stories

Bearing his touch
Eve Langlais takes us into the world of bear shifters but only the males. The females are the most feisty and keep the story fun. They are keeping Stavros on his toes if he wants to win his mate Becka. He also has the complication of vampires to contend with which makes for a exciting pace.

Fake mates to the wolf
Milly Taiden keeps you rooting for Shawna who all but runs Mate for hire but has to put up with sexist manager Clark. When she is fired she has to keep her life together for her mum and brothers who are been kept prisoners. Along comes boss Hawke who has been waiting to show Shawna she is his mate and the love she has been missing.

The witch. The werewolf, and the waitress
Kate Baxter brings us Ellie who has been cursed by a witch to be immortal but only in Lowman, Idaho. Her boredom is about to disappear with the arrival of cocky werewolf Colin. Love comes to the rescue for Ellie with Colin’s help her life can be changed forever.

This trio of shifter love stories will keep you smiling and waiting for the next adventures.

I received an arc copy of this book from NetGalley for my honest review . This book has three short stories. The first story by Eve Langlais is about a bear shifter named Stavros and Becka. Their romance began on a rough start after her kidnapping but his gentleness and humor really made the story. I loved his sisters and mother. The second book by Milly Taiden had a strong female lead with Shawna and another gentle giant with her boss Hawke Hawke (not my favorite name)who’s a wolf. There was a lot more heat with this story and Becka was a strong lead. The third story by Kate Baxter was definitely different- he’s a werewolf and she’s a human under a curse. The forged on a journey together to deal with her situation which was more of the focus than their actual relationship but the banter between the two was nice. Overall I would give this book four stars but my favorite was Milly’s story (except the name). I would recommend this book for those who like quick reads without much steaminess.
