Predictable but kinda cute. Characters were just okay for me.

Predictable romance
With all the Billionaire books out today the writer really needs to create a storyline that really stands out from the rest. Unfortunately this book just didn't have it. It wasn't a bad read just not unique.
I received an advance reader copy from Nergalley.
CEO and creator of popular dating app, Michael, needs a date so he creates a fake profile and name and finds his own perfect match in Sophia. Sophia, however, feels out of her depths in Michaels world so when his ex-fiancé tries to rub her new engagement in Michaels face Sophia blurts our that they are engaged too. The two then decide to pretend they are engaged for 1 month.
This was a great plot set up, but the story seemed to lose focus somewhere along the way. The characters were apart more than together. We got too much backstory and rehashing of thoughts and not enough of our couple on the page. It’s like their falling in Love was hearsay. This one missed the mark for me, Because I wanted to see more of them as a couple
*Thank you yo Netgalley for providing me with a free copy of this book. All opinions are honest and my own.*
This book just didn't have a believable romance for me. Michael and Sophia just didn't have "the spark" for me. It was too neat and easy for me. Sure they experienced problems but the resolutions of those problems just wasn't believeable.
Pretty good. Few hot spots and yumminess.

I have read a lot of millionaire/billionaire stories over the years. They’re like a classic tried-and-true and they’re great for a never fail HEA.
This story is a familiar plot and the author did a great job developing story. Even adding the evil Ex was a perfect twist.
But I had a hard time with the flow and the wording in some of the sections. The romantic connection was just off a little bit and just didn’t grab me for the all in.
I really enjoyed the male lead character, Michael, but Sophia left me lagging. Maybe I’m just over the whole b(m)illionaire and the virgin storyline. No matter the surrounding story, the basic plot is the same.
One thing the author did very well was included a decent heat factor when the two finally got together. Michael is a sweetie and has a certain level of yumm.
Overall, a pleasant and enjoyable story with a classic theme.
I’m sure it was a great book, but I don’t know what happened but I forgot to download this to my kindle because I can’t find it......so sorry
A bit of Pretty Woman and a bit of cliche. That pretty much sums up the story of Michael Vilander (CEO of Together.com, a selfmade billionaire company) and Sophia Baldwin (orphan, living with her grandmother and stripping for a living).
When Michael is in need of a date for a charity gala, his secretary aka grandmother advises him to make an account on his new website. Then he finds Sophia and she is wonderful. But when Michael's ex confronts them, Sophia lies and tells her they are engaged. So, now they have to fake for another month at least that they are a couple. How hard can it be?
Just until Michael finds out, that his fake fiancée is a stripper... Then we have nothing but trouble... Short, entertaining, but not very original. Three out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.
Quick and fun read. I'm curious about the other books in the series!
Billionaire CEO Michael Vilander needed just one date. Creating a fake profile on his own matchmaking website may not have been his brightest move. But then Sophia Baldwin’s arresting face pops up on his CHAT NOW feature. Not only is she gorgeous, but after spending half the night exchanging messages with her, he finds her to be naive, innocent and way too sexy.
A great read intriguing keeps your attention was good I enjoyed it can’t wait to read more hope you enjoy it as much as I did recommend it

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC from NetGalley.
"Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review."
Loved this book very much. It had just the right amount of sweet & hot romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!
I admit, I was pretty peeved by this. I've read my fair share of new adult books in the past years and I fairly quickly realized that there is a fine line between sarcasm and being a plain jerk, an even bigger line between being loyal and possessive - and Michael crossed both of those lines multiple times. It's always difficult to deal with an ex, but holy moly, did he have to treat Sophia (the girl he pretends he's engaged to) like property, like a trophy the entire time, too? And what's worse, Sophia just--let him? Not to mention the Mary Sue character she portrayed - a virgin that is a stripper - had me rolling my eyes a lot, because it wasn't executed well. Not to mention the strong resemblance to Pretty Woman. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it did make me compare the two often, and not in a good light.
I don't know, I was just underwhelmed by this book, and didn't like Michael at all. I never felt truly connected to Sophia, either, which was a shame.
Extremely predictable but really cute and entertaining. Would make a really great summer, by the pool, read.
Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for letting me read Nothing but trouble by Ashley Bostock. Here is my honest review, all opinions are my own!
My first time reading that author. What caught my eye was the cover.
He's rich, he's hot... they're different... Nothing new here.
I didn't hate that book but I didn't love it either, it was okay. I wasn't bad but just not my favorite! Not realistic.

What in the heck? What? This book was ridiculous. These two did not belong together and were weak. I hate heroines like this one, she needed self respect. She allowed Michael to treat crappy and then she is the one after him..huh I wanted to knock her up on the side of the head to wake up. Then there is Michael, he acts like he is so bad but lets his past dictate him, his ex ruined him yet he is still panting for her..Horrible..Yeah I wont read the rest. I
a short read - rich man and a pretty girl, from completely different backgrounds. Given he researched her enough before their first date to know her dress and shoe size I'm suprrised he didn't gheck out what she did for a living, espeically as it turns out later in the book that he knew the guy who owned the bar!
This was short and sweet. It isn’t groundbreaking and there are some silly things (no kissing on the lips - a la Pretty Woman) but in the end it was a nice feel good story.
The characters are well developed. Their relationships with their families (and his friends) make them interesting and give some weight to the story. I loved his grandmother, Regina. She was a riot.
This was a quick and enjoyable read. I was looking for something to take a break from all the psychological thrillers and it fit the bill nicely. If you like your romances to be completely realistic then maybe you want to skip this one. It reads almost like a modern day fairy tale with a bit of sex thrown in. I would recommend it!
Thanks to NetGalley, the author, and Weapenry Co-Op for a copy in exchange for an honest review.
This book was horrible, I hated it with a passion. It had all the horrible things I hate in books and includes them and I had no clue beforehand it was going to happen. Some of these might be spoilers so beware when reading this review. After reading this I will never read this author again. AWFUL!!! I will say I did read the whole thing even though I hated it, kinda like a train wreck you can't look away from.
The book started out well if a little on the slow side. We meet Michael who owns a dating website and he needs a date for a big party. He find Sophia on a dating website and he takes her to the party. At the party we meet Mindy, who is his ex and he is very attracted to his date Sophia. Sophia claims they are engaged when Mindy says she is engaged as well. That starts the two's relationship and so they continue to see each other after the party.
Sounds good right?? I was enjoying it up to this point and then WHAM. Michael's ex Mindy starts trying to seduce him and he gets aroused by her. ICK so gross. They never have sex but she comes onto him over and over and she even TOUCHES him there if you know what I mean and he still claims to know she is gold digger but he still gets aroused. Meanwhile he is dating Sophia. SO GROSS!! Total train wreck.
My other issue was Sophia, who up to this point I liked a lot. She is a good girl. Virgin, takes care of her grandmother, and here is the spoiler so you have been warned. She is a virgin stripper. She does lap dances and she hides her profession from Michael.
And Mindy finds out and tells Michael and he accuses her of being a gold digger and then he sees his error and wants to be with her but Sophia says no. Meanwhile Michael is still getting aroused by Mindy. Ick! IT was awful.. Everything I hate in a book and never saw coming.
Interesting book. It's your typical social differences, somebody hurt me so I dont feel anything anymore book. But this one has a lot of humor and emotion that make it worth reading.
I did think it could have ended with an epilogue of the future but maybe we will see that in the background of the next books in the series.
I am surprised that Sophia put up with Michael. The way that he let his ex ruin what they had together would have made me block his number not try to contact him over and over again like she did. I thought that Sophia was probably too good for Michael. Just because you have money does not make you a good person. Luckily Michael learns this and makes it right with Sophia.
